"Reasons you are not married" Written by Amara

You are not married not because there is no man ready for marriage as a good number of men are looking for life partners. The major reason Nigerian Men are now scared of marriage is waywardness. men are now afraid because they don’t know who to trust and also not sure if that beautiful girl they are interested in still has her womb intact.

They are also afraid because of the high mountain ladies have suddenly placed themselves on as no woman wants to date a poor man any longer but are all interested in those with good cars and houses.
A man recently told me why he does not allow his girlfriends to come to his house. According to him, he doesn’t want a case where a girl enters his house only for her to refuse leaving because of the beauty of the house and cars she will see.

Isn’t it surprising how single ladies now out-dress married women with good jobs whose husbands are very rich? You are not married because the single men around you are wondering if they will be able to meet up with your ever-demanding lifestyle. Even when they know they can afford it, what makes them believe you won’t take a walk tomorrow if anything goes wrong?


Another reason is that with your good job and salary, they are even afraid to come near you as they wouldn’t want to be turned down.

I have a female colleague, a very pretty girl who lives in her own house and drives a posh car. She also has different businesses to show for it. Recently, I advised her to calm down a bit as friends I introduce her to who ordinarily would have gone for her, all run away after meeting her and come back to me with the same word, “Amara, this one go send me go village.”

Another reason you are going to grow old in your father’s house is this: You want a ready-made man instead of a growing man with vision. Are you aware that if you have not obtained favour from God, the man will decrease instead of increasing when you enter his house? Work on your character, the words that come from your mouth, your lifestyle, the way you carry yourself, the way you dress, the places you visit and then spend time trying to find favour before God because it’s only favour that can make your husband increase the moment you step into his life.

In fact, the moment a man proposes to you, there must be some positive movements in his finance if at all you have obtained favour.

It is never your duty to find a man. While he is working trying to raise money to sustain whoever he takes home to his mother, you should get yourself busy obtaining favour from God for you to be his source of blessing. A man knows when the wife is a source of blessing and that is the only time he cherishes you.

In the previous paragraph, I said the man should take you home to his mother. I don’t understand why you get married to a man who believes it’s just between the two of you. Read the Bible; they all took their wives home to their mothers. If a man cannot take you home to his people, something is wrong. Isn’t it surprising how many of us are married without knowing our husband’s village and his mother’s bedroom? Marriage, in the African culture, is not between the man and woman alone, the two families must be involved.

Hey, you have to stop moving from one prayer house to the other in search of miracles that are not coming even after you might have emptied your pocket. Go back to your room; deal with your character and bad nature that is filled with pride and disrespect for the elderly. Cut down on frivolities and that is not all, deal with your party and aso ebi spirit. You must also deal with that thing that gets you to aimlessly move from one end of the street to the other all in search of precious souls to destroy. Change that mentality that says you use what you have to get what you want; any man you get with your Bottom is as filthy, unreliable and irresponsible as you are.

Common girl, go deal with yourself first before you start blaming your step mother of being the one keeping you down. Stop blaming your neighbours and friends of standing on your way to progress. I just told you the bitter truth which your Alfa, Babalawo, pastor and Imam may never tell you. Stop wasting your time chasing shadows, go and deal with yourself first before complaining.

I know of a wonderful lady who sings so well that when she comes to lead in worship, miracles take place. People love her, but this lady is unmarried till date. It is not because men don’t go to her for marriage or because she is ugly; her number one obstacle is her character. They say there are many old single ladies in our churches; I think I know the problem and not that most of them wasted their lives in frivolities only to realise the last minute that they have to run into the church where they can get a brother to marry.

I am not trying to judge anyone’s past, but the issue is that even when they join those churches, their characters don’t change. It’s really appalling how some ladies talk to men simply because they are in the same church. Some of them fight everyone in their department in church while some live their lives begging from one member to the other.

What do have to say about ladies who fight for food during church meetings? Those guys would be foolish to see the stuff you are made of and still go ahead to take you home to mama.
I always tell ladies that if by the age of 30 no man had asked to know if you are for sale, there is something wrong somewhere; its either spiritual or attitudinal, but the truth is that it is always more attitudinal than spiritual.

You have been fasting and praying and going for all levels of deliverance but it seems nothing is working. What is your character like after all the prayers and religious devotions? It is sad when I see a single girl walk up to a married woman sitting with her husband and telling the woman to get up because she was there before her. You attend functions with extra bags to pack food and drinks and when it’s time to hit the dancing floor, you do that as if there is no tomorrow. What do you expect from life when you are the source of all quarrels in your neighbourhood, church and office?

This is the moment of truth and if at all you want to be delivered, your decision to deliver yourself is the first step to your breakthrough.

How can the police determine the kids aren't theirs unless they did DNA. Even if the kids are not biologically theirs if they are adopted or they have raised them then they are theirs. OK let me go read their blog to get a clearer understanding,  cos I am missing something here!

If the children weren't theirs, how come the police have not taken them to court for abducting the children?

The DNA shows that Chiwar and Gloria Musa are the kids parents.

It would be right to take severe legal action against that Alexandra Constantinou, the dangerous and racist white man, who started all the dirty rumours and trouble. Even if those kids were returned, the damage has been done and legal action should be taken against London Borough of Haringey, Alexandra Constantinou (the racist white man) and the racist police.

"Public Interest" / cause maximum embarrasment / mayhem to Haringey Council in the media on a regular basis until the kids are release, then sue Haringey Council for at least TEN MILLION POUNDS for all the pain and suffering they caused the children and their parents and imprisonment of the parents. Register on the site, pay with your card and post your press release. Total cost for 12 months should not be more than £2,000, but it will be very effective. Its effective. It will put this news in front pages of mainstream media both in UK, Europe, USA and worldwide.

You should also heavily lobby your local MP (Member of Parliament).

If enough awareness is created, it will force the government to stop the lies of Haringey Council, then, look into the facts of the case.

The family of a girl taken into care have not seen or heard from her for 10 months, writes Christopher Booker.

The social workers of Haringey are notorious for having failed to prevent the deaths of Baby P and Victoria Climbié. But in their zeal to avoid any repetition of these tragedies, they are now at the forefront of those councils which have pushed the number of children taken into care to an all-time high. In all the cases I have been following where children have been taken from their families for what seem like dubious reasons, no single instance has been more disturbing than the plight of a 10-year-old girl seized by Haringey last year, who seems in the past 10 months to have vanished off the radar.
“Girl X”, as I shall call her, was taken into care on the basis of three allegations. One turned out to be so laughably erroneous that it was soon dropped; a second was likewise dropped when medical tests completely disproved the council’ s claims. The third, highly questionable, has still not been put to any evidential test.
The last time Girl X was seen by her mother was at a supervised contact session last August. Having complained of intimate abuse by her foster carer’s 19-year-old son, she asked to be given, as a birthday present, a journal with a lock in which she could record her “secret thoughts”. Since that day she has not been seen by her parents or, since the autumn, by her siblings, who are also in care. It seems she has since been interviewed by three people – an independent social worker, an independent psychiatrist and her guardian, all of whom reported that she wished to see and be reunited with her mother.

Why – when even Baby P’s mother was last year allowed out of prison to enjoy supervised contact with her surviving children – has Girl X been shut away as a silent prisoner, seemingly denied her rights? What has happened to Girl X?

UK Govt trying to deport Nigerian couple without their six children

Six children, including an infant of a Nigerian couple are in the custody of British authorities, because the British Police insist the children are not biological children of the couple. The five minors were said to have been whisked away by the men of the Haringey Police to the Sharon Fair Haringey Social Service  on June 12, 2010, after they had stormed the Norwich Park Hospital, where the woman claimed she had given birth to the last child, who is also in custody of the police.

The main point of the Oligarchy system is having a small group of people control wealth and power in a system were the masses are subservient. Fair enough, but until the government brings out a Chinese style one child policy, it is their basic human right as a married couple to have as many as they can care for. The council has a obligation to provide accommodation or alternatively private renting but most prefer low cost council housing.

No council can 'offer' forms for British Citizenship - it is not a function of local government. Besides if they were eligible for citizenship, no one needs to 'offer' them forms.

Forms are widely available in the Uk and u could even pick one from a post office.

@debosky, I believe they offered them forms to complete for British Citizenship i.e. passport and that would have shut all the doors for the Nigerian government to get involved in this case. Very wise of them to refuse.

Child protection is one of the most sensitive issues handled by the social serivices especially following the baby P and Victoria Climbie cases.
I have sat in many hospital directed strategy sessions( as a Paediatrician) and i tell you, there are so many stages  of intervention before a decision is taken to remove a child from a family.
Adoption and fostering isnt as easy as people claim on this forum, it may take you up to 5 years before you can get to place that child in another family and in fact that is a current headache for all concerned, why do you think we have the ''Looked-After children'' group ni the UK?
Whatever the case is, i hope they can reach the best outcome for the innocent child, for the child is usually the only victim in all of these cases,

i have read the issue in passing but as much as i have reservations about the authotirites in the uk,i know for a fact that they would never take such a sensitive step without some form of evidence directly linking the woman to said allegations.
the british police are not lawless like our nigerian police and every single order made by a constabulary has to be justified and defended hence they don't take it lightly.
same goes for the child services as well.

i find it totally funny that they would be given the option of applying for british passports so that there children can stay in uk, im sorry i don't believe that,not in this era of immigration clamp down, both adults and children who are non eu are clamped in different detention/removal centres so i don't see why they will single this particular family out to offer them british passports.

Look the Uk is not a place were crimes are covered up and if this couple have in anyway mistreated their kids we definitely would have heard about it by now and dey will never finish talking about it.

Align this observation with the onerous task of raising '5+1 children', all under the age of 10; then tell me if it is still implausible that these parents, who were obviously constrained for time and resources, might have made some fundamental mistakes.

There is definitely more to the story. One problem with the family court system in the UK is the secrecy that surrounds it all, so we are definitely not being given the whole picture, both sides have things which there are not permitted to disclose which makes it impossible to understand fully what has happened here.

Let us not make much of this case than it actually is.(over analysis) I live in the UK and aware of the issue of Child protection/relocation. I am certain that if this had been an abuse or neglect case, we would have heard about it as we do in the news daily.

This couple would have been in police custody of some sort and had charges brought against them but none we know of except the legal case brought against Haringey council by this couple.

This is not due process and alien to wat we know of the child protection system in the UK. Leaving in a one bedroom accommodation is no grounds to obtain people's children.

This is not an aduse or neglect case. It is a case of Haringey seizing the Children of a couple and saying whatever they like without providing evidence or case file. That is wrong. There is a fine line to be drawn here between Victoria Climbe and Baby P. Let us deal with each case individually like they are.

The Haringey council should return people's kids back to them without abuse or neglect ascertained.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost LBH to place 6 children in care?

I mentioned the issue of judgment earlier and I stand by it.
Why downsize from a 4 bedroom house to a 1 room apartment when you have another baby on the way?
Even without hearing LBH's side of the story, as a parent myself, I[b] see enough holes here to consider these two, irresponsible individuals.
They probably never listened to sound advise when they could because of self-proclaimed omniscience.

Again, thanks for the case-report, however everything just seem to be allegations by the Haringey with no evidence. There was no mention of neglect or child abuse substantiated which is exactly wat I find shocking about this case.

It appears Haringey council ruled that it would be economical taking the Children into care rather than providing the Family with a larger accommodation. They really need to get their act together at the Haringey Council becos they are now becoming notorious. 

The allegations by Alexander Constantinou and the responses from the Musas are
listed below:
5.3.1 - that the children did not belong to the Musas; that the children were being
trafficked.
5.3.2 Cell mark Ltd were instructed by LBH to perform DNA tests which
conformed all Six children were the offspring of Chiwar and Gloria Musa.
5.4.1 - that the Musas had a „child missing.‟
5.4.2 This stems from a misunderstanding that the Musas had a child called Peace.
The fictitious Peace had a birthday of February 1
st
2001 - which would have
meant Peace and Favour‟s gestation periods would have overlapped in the womb
- with their being born 5 months apart.
5.5.1 Haringey Fabricated that Mrs. Musa had been raped by her stepfather in Sheffield
when she was fifteen and that he administered her opium. Alexander
Constantinou also claims that Mrs. Musa has no living biological parents.
5.5.2 Mrs. Musa lived in Nigeria at that time, with both of her biological parents, who
are still alive today. LBH have personally consulted with Mrs. Musa‟s parents
when LBH refused them access to their family Members upon their visit to the
UK Last year. Mrs. Musa has never been raped. Mrs. Musa knows nobody in 14
Sheffield has never been there and has no intention of so doing. She has only ever
slept with her husband.
5.6 Haringey fabricated that Mrs. Musa was a trafficked sex worker „performing
special services to members of the church.‟ A Mr. Patel is alleged to be one of
Mrs. Musas regular clients. He was claimed to have produced a witness statement
and it is believed by Mr. PRJ that Patel was summonsed to give evidence.
5.6.1 No statement was produced and Mr. Patel did not materialize.
5.7 – Haringey fabricated that Mrs. Musa informed that she had had brain surgery for
epilepsy.
5.7.1 Mrs. Musa has never had brain surgery and does not suffer from epilepsy. She
bears no relevant scars.
5.8 – Haringey Fabricated that both Mrs. Musa and the children have been trafficked
by Mr. Musa for sexual exploitation
5.8.1 DNA tests proves the Musa‟s paternity and the children were bright, articulate
and, by all accounts other than those attached to LBH, well cared for - until their
removal by LBH.
5.9 –Alexandra Fabricated that Mrs. Musa carries Sexually Transmitted Diseases,
specifically syphilis and HIV.
5.9.1 No proof has been forthcoming; no indication has been given as how Alexander
Constantinou diagnosed the illnesses. No referrals were made by LBH for Mrs.
Musa to be examined. Mrs. Musa was clear of STDs at the standard ante-natal
check with her sixth child in February 2010.
5.10 - that all the children have different fathers.
5.10.1 DNA proves Mr. Musa‟s paternity of all five children born at that time. 15
5.11 - that the Musas were „destitute and homeless.‟
5.11.1 Please refer to 3.1 and 3.2 above. The Musas were fine , No concerns from any
doctors GP, or Schools until their livelihoods were shattered by the attrition of the
last 18 months. They could previously afford their rent but have apparently made
the mistake of seeking council Housing and thereby placed themselves within
reach of LBH.
5.12 - that the children are not fed.
5.12.1 Photos of the children reveal them to be fit and thriving. They are above
average at school. No indication is given as to what degree the children
may be deprived, nor is there any reference to LBH referring the children
further or taking corrective measures. The Musas and their children were
highly social people renown for their work in teaching parents how to care
for children. It is unlikely that any abuse would have gone un-noticed in
the circles the family intensely engaged in.
5.13.1 - that Favour is sometimes locked in the garden at night wearing only her nightie.
5.13.2 The family had no access the back garden and the people traffic by the
front garden would have raised alarm bells very quickly. The Musas deny
they have abused their children in such a manner at any previous
address.
5.14.1 - that Mrs Musa presented a baby to a Northern hospital covered in
faeces.
5.14.2 no report exists,no photographs was produced, no explanation as to why
the baby was not then brought to the attention of the local social services.
The location of the hospital is unknown.
5.15.1 - that Mr. Musa was inappropriately touching female staff at the children‟s
St Patrick‟s School in Manchester.16
5.15.2 No reports corroborate the allegations. Mr. Musa denies them.
5.16.1 -Haringey fabricated that Mrs Musa was the subject of domestic violence
from Mr. Musa.
5.16.1 Mrs Musa denies she has ever been mistreated by Mr. Musa it was the
police and social service that abused Mrs Musa
5.17.1 - Haringey Fabricated that Mr. Musa stole church equipment in Harringey
5.17.2 Mr. Musa says its Highly slanderous.
5.18.1 - that the Musas „moved twice from their accommodation‟ 186 west green
Road (the insinuation being that their moving around was unstable for the
children or that they were avoiding proceedings).
5.18.2 the Musas remained in one home, as is evidenced by their receipt of all
court and care-related material and their full engagement in process. No
evidence is forthcoming that the Musas were not available to the social
services at any time.
5.19.1 - that Mrs Musa has mental health problems.
5.19.2 Mrs Musa has no history of mental health problems. Alexander
Constantinou provided a doctor with this information which shocked the good Dr
upon his meeting with Mrs Musa. The doctor had also been told the same
allegations of syphilis, HIV and that Mrs Musa was a sex worker.
5.20.1 - that Mrs Musa‟s baby in the womb had Down Syndrome.
5.20.2 This transpires to be false.
5.21.1 - that the Musas were „not cooperating‟.17
5.21.2 LBH appear to be troubled by the Musas not collaborating with their
version of events to the extent that not submitting to the pressure applied
to them has been interpreted as further proof of abuse

Europe is not like Nigeria that u can bribe a whole system.  Something is definitely wrong with the parents. Six kids in a one bedroom apartment come on. Every social worker would take those kids out of that inviroment.

That was the council flat they were given and why not just move them to a bigger Council flat or house? In the UK, temporary accommodations are often one bedroom, until u are allocated a bigger accommodation under the choice housing scheme.

Did, i not say that countries outside Nigeria was involved in this. They should look properly, their is more and these people visit Nigeria daily to incite hatred in the Mosque's they visit after offering huge financial incentive.

^^ The main point here is that their have never been a case of abuse against any of the children in question. They are all well feed and cared for by their parents, as evidence in the picture above. The eldest child was 10years at the time of seperation. Hence, the couple were coping with the responsibility of being parents and could have continued with the other children alongside the baby.

Of course they needed a bigger apartment and with regards to Mrs Musa mental health after her Kids were removed is to be expected becos no one will be sane in those circumstances. Hence, removing people kids on grounds of speculation with out evidence or cases with full case worker report is Criminal and unjust.

Baby P is a factor here no doubt but their is a parallel between both cases as Baby P had been seen by a case worker but none in this case.

This is madness to be frank.

This story just gets better, according to the lady in the first video link the kids were removed from the care of both loving parents to be placed in an abusive foster home. Wat passes for Child protection these days is utterly unacceptable.

Although in cases like this, it is very hard once the children have been removed to get them back even with help from the European Union or United States of America.

It is already almost two years now and the kids are growing without their parents. 15 years the kids will be graduating from University and their parents is still on the case.
