Unity amongst muslims = A call to rally behind boko haram by spornsors.
Boko Haram is their present division and they need all muslims to support dem.

Come 2015 the Presidency has a right to a second term or all Nigerians contest for the Presidency. As things stand, a muslim northerner can never rule this country again.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Has Shamed Africa. by Bliss4Lyfe(op): 5:26pm On Dec 25, 2011
Why are people holding back and scared. I bet the victim of today bombings were amongst the many applying caution whilst in a house on fire.

Poo is already on the fan faces and we have passed the caution stage. Right now it should be action with no fear. We need to remove  armoury to the south preferably Umuahia, Abia.

All new equipment purchased for the Armed forces docked in the Abia Armoury. Secondly, Muslim officers should not participate in the JTF and should be on secret 24/7 surveillance.

Thirdly, mercenary should be brought in from Gabon, Congo, Equatoria Guinea and Sao Tome Principe. Fourthly, Army recruitment centre should be set up in locally affected areas in the middle-belt, southeast and southwest to prop up their numbers in the force since the Hausa fulani have reached full capacity of Army conscription.

And let the war games begin.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Has Shamed Africa. by Bliss4Lyfe(op): 3:17pm On Dec 25, 2011
A workable solution to this problem is to make high profile arrest. The army has to completely invade the North via setting up check points every where to restrict people's movement.

Stop and search strategy implemented and suspect arrest made. These terrorist have to be combated with full international support and aid. Nigeria border in Niger, Chad, Benin and Cameroon closed with randam arrest of suspected terrorist on the borders.

Commander in Chief of Armed Forces has to bring that title to bare. The Northern Oligarchy need to be financially crippled via their return of stolen government funds. e.t.c
Politics › Re: Is It Not Time To Totally Purge The Army Off Core-northerners? by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 3:09pm On Dec 25, 2011
Welcome back to the reality. I have outlined a workable strategy and it should also include financially crippling the Northern Oligarchy. High profile arrest made and power should not return to the North for 52 years.https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-748575.0.html

Hate to say it, but Ojukwu and Nzeegwu officers pre-emptive coup against the North was not just political but to guard the interest of the nation from islamist, after the kaduna killing of igbo's. If only Nigerians standing, saw wat their military leaders had foreseen sitting. Today this animals would be quietly sitted in their place.

Onlytruth:
This "Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Branch" should not be making this statement, afterall there is the Ohanaeze MAIN headquarters in Enugu that should be making it, if at all this is important. They must not view Igboland with a "Lagosian" mindset.
Do we need another refinery in Igboland?
Do these people know the environmental impacts of a refinery?
How far are all parts of Igboland from the Orient refinery in Anambra, and the Port Harcourt refinery?

They should agitate for more important things like fixing federal roads and finishing the Enugu International Airport.
Since we are in Nigeria, we don't have to worry about any refinery in our backyard, unless of course they can prove that the economic gain is far more than the environmental impacts.
Correct and if we need more in the future, the Orient refinery in Anambra, will build it once dey master the technology. GEJ has to evenly distribute development. yet to see more for Bayelsa.

Kobojunkie:
I wouldn't really attempt to start this by comparing Nigeria with some of the biggest economies in the world today but let's go with the countries on your list there that make some sense to Nigeria.

Are you sure you did your homework on Subsidy in Mexico? Seriously? Cause a simple google check would reveal you didn't. Same case with Russia. Now again, please do your homework.
lollz, u are very funny. Putting it better Northsea oil producing countries. Britain and Norway etc  grin grin

Let's get you actually doing some homework. How many other oil producing countries do you know of that do not have such subsidies in place? Please name them
Kobojunkie:
I asked you a very simple question but meaningless babble considering that your claims on subsidy, in general, are unsubstantiated ones.
The fifteen-largest oil producers outside OPEC Russia, the United States, China, Mexico, Canada, Norway, and Brazil. Britain.  NOPEC/ Northsea oil producing countries.

Look oil subsidies no doubt helps to maintain a lower price for domestic consumption but that price variation isn't much after the subsidy removal.

Subsidy only maintains an inefficient system. One, it means the quantity for fuel available for export would be less and thus puts Nigeria at an uncompetitive position amongst other OPEC countries. The market becomes unattractive for potential investors that would build refineries and create jobs in the process.

Two, Domestic oil traders benefit from selling subsidies oil with the gov and tax-payer bearing the true cost. These are the people that have become billionaires over night and fighting really hard to keep subsidies.

Three, the money gov invest on subsidies for these oil profiteers could be invested on better transport network, education, health and electrity.

Quote from: Nchara on Yesterday at 08:17:30 PM
Enugu is the 4th poorest state in Igboland, yet her people can obviously afford to buy from the MALL (otherwise investors won't invest there). You can imagine when the Govts of Abia, Anambra and Imo-states whose average inhabitants are wealthier than those in Enugu - will wake up to similar strides?

Owerri guys will show true class here.
This was the problem and very misleading becos Enugu is not poorer than other south east state. It is more of an administrative city with a strong industrial-agri segment.

Calliing Enugu poor becos it's not commercial is like saying Abuja/Washington DC is poor. Alot of the data collected by Nigeria Audit Office are speculative as all the economies in Nigeria are developing.

At the sametime, i understand wat Nchara was trying to convey. Onitsha does have money but all the traders in onitsha are not exclusively from Anambra, some are from Enugu, Imo and Abia. It is all mixed, likewise Aba, Asaba and Owerri with hotels owners from all over the east.
