The s9+ is superior, but an old flagship. The advantage The a22 has over the s9+ is 128gb rom variant and android updates, it will get android 12 and 13 and quarterly security updates that's all, every other thing in the s9+ is better. So it depends on what you want, if you dont care about android updates, then go for the s9. Note; the s9 is used not brand new
