Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Monday when asked why he want to become Nigeria’s president said he wants to become Problem in 2023 in order to help solve the country’s problems.

He made the comment while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

“I want to become Nigeria’s Problem because one, we are in problem,” he said. “And I want to offer myself to the people of this country to solve such problems. But he meant to say “become Nigeria’s president” Its a slip of the Tongue.

“Because I do know, as a man who loves this country, as a man who is committed to the development of this country, you can’t be standing aloof, seeing your country sliding the way it is sliding.

“As Governor of Rivers State, I solve problems. And I believe that should we just close our eyes and allow this country to go the way it is going? I say, no. So I’m going to offer myself, so I can contribute.”

Mr Wike said he has the ability to solve Nigeria’s insecurity problems, referencing his war against oil bunkering in Rivers State.

He lambasted the All Progressives Congress for deceiving Nigerians and for their failure to stamp out corruption.

The Governor called for the PDP to zone the Presidency to the South, stressing that anyone against zoning was being selfish.

It started when Reno Omokri made some Religious posts which includes Muslim, Christians etc. Advising People to stop bearing Biblical or Quaran names that it won’t make them holy, asks them to bear their native names.

“I have read the Bible and Quran. Nowhere in both books does it say you must name your children Biblical or Quranic names for them to be Christian or Muslim. A name doesn’t make you a believer. You can bear your African name and still be a good Christian or Muslim. Nobody in Scripture changed their names when they converted to Christianity. Saul did not change his name to Paul. That is ignorance of the highest order. Scripture says “Saul, who was also called Paul”-Acts 13:9. Saul had two names, Saul and Paul. Saul was not born in Israel. He was born in modern day Turkey. He was also a Roman citizen-Acts 22:28. And as a Roman citizen, he had a Roman name (actually Paulus, not Paul). Paulus means ‘humble’ in Latin. His actual Hebrew name was Saul.” Reno Omokri wrote.

Following the Resignation of Michel Aupetit, a French prelate of the Catholic Church who was Archbishop of Paris from 2018 to 2021, who resigned following reports of a relationship with a woman in 2012, Catholic Pope Francis says sex outside marriage is ‘not the most serious sin.’

‘Sins of the flesh are not the most serious,’ the 84-year-old pontiff said during a press conference aboard the papal plane on Monday. Pride and hatred are ‘the most serious,’ Pope Francis added.

Francis made the comment in answer to a question about the Archbishop of Paris Michel Aupetit who resigned last week over an ‘ambiguous’ relationship with a woman.

According to Dailymail.co.uk, Although Aupetit, 70, denied the relationship was sexual – Catholic priests take vows of celibacy – he resigned to prevent rumours from damaging the Church.

A diocese spokeswoman said at the time that ‘he had an ambiguous behaviour with a person he was very close to’, adding that it was ‘not a loving relationship’, nor sexual.

‘When the gossip grows, grows, grows and takes away the reputation of a person, that man will not be able to govern… and that is an injustice,’ Francis said.

‘This is why I accepted Aupetit’s resignation, not on the altar of truth, but on the altar of hypocrisy,’ the pope said on the plane back from a trip to Greece.

‘I ask myself, what did Aupetit do that was so serious he had to resign? If we don’t know the accusation, we cannot condemn,’ the pope added, urging journalists to investigate.

He said Aupetit had been condemned by ‘public opinion, rumours. But what did he do? We know nothing’.

However, the pope referenced a breach of the sixth commandment – a ban on adultery – saying it was ‘not total, but little caresses and massages he gave to his secretary’.

‘That is a sin. But it is not the most serious because sins of the flesh are not the most serious,’ he said.

He added: ‘Aupetit is a sinner. As I am, as was Peter, the bishop on whom Christ founded his Church.’

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has said that the President of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon, had expressed readiness for his country to be part of Nigeria.
Onyeama, who stated this shortly after a close door meeting with Beninoise Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Aurélien Agbenonci, said the Beninoise president gave the offer when he visited President Muhammadu Buhari, a few weeks back.

“The President of Benin said as far as they are concerned, they want (not just saying it like that) but in reality, Benin should be the 37th state of Nigeria,” he said.

“We should really be one. They charged us to come together at ministerial level, to work out a framework for a sustainable relationship.”

Onyeama said, at the visit, both presidents discussed agreements between the two countries on how to put the issue of smuggling to an end, once and for all, as a follow up to the presidents’ meeting.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk says his brain-computer interface startup Neuralink could kick off human trials as early as this year “if things go well.”

The San Francisco Bay Area-based start-up co-founded by Musk in 2016 is aiming to implant a computer interface in the human brain to help treat neurological conditions like Alzhemier’s, dementia and spinal cord injuries. In the long-term, the company is looking to achieve a degree of symbiosis between humans and artificial intelligence.

On Twitter Monday, Musk responded to another user’s request to participate in human trials of the technology.

“I was in a car accident 20 years ago and have been paralyzed from the shoulders ever since. I’m always available for clinical studies at @Neuralink,” Hammon Kamai wrote to Musk.

In response, Musk said trials could potentially start later this year.

“Neuralink is working super hard to ensure implant safety & is in close communication with the FDA. If things go well, we might be able to do initial human trials later this year,” Musk wrote.

Musk previously estimated the company would begin human trials of the technology in the second quarter of 2020, which didn’t pan out.

On Sunday, Musk revealed during an interview on the private social app Clubhouse that Neuralink put a wireless implant in a monkey’s brain that allowed the animal to play video games using only its mind.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria shares photos of the newly completed Murtala Muhammed International Airport terminal, Lagos. Similar terminals in Port Harcourt and Abuja have since been commissioned.

The Nigerian Police in Orlu imo state has reportedly attacked Eastern Security Network in the Area.
According to Nnamdi Kanu, the Police got morethan they can chew as Eastern security Network retaliated.

An ESN officer who filmed the video said the Police attacked them and they Retaliated, the Police abandoned their Vehicles and ran away.

Nnamdi Kanu who shared the video wrote; "When #Zoo police met #ESN in Orlu bush."
