Last night, Nigerian pop star Dammy Krane tweeted his suppport for controversial Ghanaian act, Shatta Wale.

This didn’t go down well with Nigerian’s on twitter who immediately donated him as a burnt offering to Ghana but he was rejected and passed on to Kenya, Zimbabwe and even the ancestors, who all declined to accept him.

Nigerian twitter is such a dangerous place.

A woman who is desperate to look like children’s toy has spent a whopping N14million on plastic surgery to achieve her aim.

A glamorous architect has laid claim to being Poland’s first ‘living Barbie doll’ by undergoing plastic surgery to look like children’s toy.

According to Dailymail, the woman identified as Anella An from Poznan western Poland, says her dream is to ‘maximise her likeness’ to the plastic toy – although the 25-year-old, who calls herself the ‘First Polish Barbie’, didn’t always aspire to look like the children’s doll.

Revealing details of all she has done to advance her cause, Poznan said that after having surgery on her nose, she ‘couldn’t stop’ and went on to shell out 150,000 PLN (around £30,000) on having her lips and breasts augmented too – but she insists her tiny waist is all natural.

Speaking on local breakfast TV, the part-time model and shopping enthusiast said: ‘It came about very spontaneously. It was not planned at all.

‘Everyone has a complex, even small things like hair or something you have to change, and I said that I would like to improve one thing, for example, my nose. And I did it. ‘Then I thought about nice breasts and I thought why not, and that was the start.’

Anella, who has nearly 40,000 Instagram followers and divides her timebetween PoznaÅ„, Tricity and Munich, added: ‘I like strange, weird, and unique things, maybe because I’m weird.’

She added: ‘I like people who have something to say, who are charismatic. People who can create something beautiful and are beautiful inside.’

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB registrar, made the announcement on Wednesday during a meeting in Abuja with critical stakeholders on the plans and programmes for the 2018 UTME and Direct Entry (DE).

The board proposed March 9 – 17 as the dates for the exam saying it checked carefully not to clash with other public examinations dates.

Oloyede also announced the dates for the mock examination for interested students would be running from January 22 – 27. He said the form would cost N5000.

He said, “The mock examination is starting the same date the sales of form is ending. “Eye glasses are to be examined properly before candidates are allowed into the examination hall,” he said.

JAMB had, on Tuesday, said it will meet with key parastatals to brainstorm on the conduct of the examination and identify possible areas for review of the UTME.

Amongst the stakeholders are the Foreign Affairs Ministry officials, university lecturers, vice chancellors and rectors of polytechnics. “We are also expecting top media executives, state commissioners of education and heads of colleges of education.

“Other stakeholders expected at the meeting are labour unions of Nigeria universities such as ASUU, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), among others,’’ Fabian Benjamin said on behalf of the board.

The board earlier banned the use of pens, wrist watches and other devices as part of the newly introduced measures for the 2018 UTME.

Lagos Big Boy, Tomiwa, who was paraded over the weekend in Egbeda area of Lagos after reportedly caught with a stolen gold chain, has taken to social media to recount what really happened.

Tomiwa whose hair was shaved off after he was caught with the stolen gold chain, wrote as he shared a video of him confronting his friend, Pablo who reportedly gave him the chain to keep;

“This to inform the general public that I never involve myself in the theft of gold that was posted on Facebook yesterday was a set up by a traitor who I call as friend,have never in my life involve in this such mess before the guy on arrow is more like a family friend to the owner of the chain and he brought the chain to me to keep which i immediately ask him for what? But listen to the video and the own truth.”

However this post was deleted as he claimed his account was hacked.

He wrote again;

“I woke up this morning to discover that the videos I posted yesterday was deleted from my wall. Yes they hacked my account over night. I’m reposting this video again as a proof of my innocence. Please kindly help me re-share till this video gets to every corner that this false news has wandered to. I’m not a THIEF!! I repeat.. I’M NOT A THIEF.

Neither would I stoop so low to the extent of stealing a handchain. I wasn’t the culprit. I went through hell trying to prove my innocence to the public by making a secret video at the culprits house yesterday…. pablo stole the chain & asked me to keep it for him.

I had no idea that it was stolen. I later found out and I immediately reported the situation on ground to his elder brother, his elder brother asked me to cover him up & said he would scold him once he gets home and promised to sort it out with the owner of the chain as they are family friends.

Before all said & done, I started hearing noises, and the whole situation got out of hand. I was trying to explain but everyone turned deaf ears.

Davido has broken down in tears, after he won the MTV EMA Best African Artiste for year 2017.

The DMW Boss, has joined 2Baba and D’banj as the only African Artists to win both Best African Act awards at the BET Awards and MTV #EMAs.

The singer who is currently in Angola for a concert came ahead of the stiff competition comprising of Wizkid and Nasty C as well as South Africa’s Babes Wodumo, Angola’s C4 Pedro and Kenya’s Nyashinksi.

Singer Davido has denied attacking actress Caroline Danjuma or dissing her in his latest release FIA.

Following the death of one of Davido’s friends Tagbo Umeike and the circumstances surrounding the sad death, fans of Davido had predicted that the singer would refer to the incidence in his new song.

Recall how Davido jumped on Humble Smith’s Osinachi remix just so he could attack his baby mama and her family whom he had issues with at the period!

Not surprisingly, the name Caroline came up in Davido’s new song FIA and the fan base of the singer are already congratulating themselves on a correct t prediction.

However, the singer has denied the claims. In a reaction to the reports, Davido claims he wasn’t referring to Caroline the actress but one Caroline from primary School who claimed he stole his eraser!

In the song Davido had told “Caroline to save her drama for soap opera, he wants none of it”. If indeed Caroline was referring to Caroline from Primary school then he has a very good memory!

In a bid to check drug abuse on campus, the University of Lagos has provided a drug test kit in its medical centre to examine students suspected to be on hard drugs.

Prof. Rahaman Bello, outgoing Vice-Chancellor of the institution, confirmed this at a forum with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

Bello said that the initiative was necessary because drug abuse was on the increase in the nation’s tertiary institutions.

“Drug abuse is a major problem for every institution, particularly, those in the cities. We have gone ahead in the University of Lagos to address it.

“With the test kit, anyone who is suspected, his or her urine or blood depending on what we want to do, is collected for test.

“The thing about drug is that when you take it, it will be in your blood for a long time, so you cannot say , I did not use it once the test kit detects it.

“Before, we start using the test kit, everyone we picked denied using drug since we could not find any evidence,” he said.

According to him, with the test kit, the university has been able to pin down victims, but granted them amnesty.

He said that although the university’s regulation provided that any student found dealing with drug should be expelled, the management had to warn and rehabilitate them.

“With the rehabilitation, the victims are given two or three semesters to ‘get clean’. By this, we mean they will visit the medical centre on monthly basis to get tested.

“If after two or three visits, you are found clean, we will admit you back to the system, if not you are sent out.

“This we do not to unnecessarily punish them, but to assist them to find a way to regain themselves,” he said.

Bello said that about 100 students of the university were detected to be using hard drugs in 2016.

Eedris has blasted 2face in a reply, saying 2face is a two-faced, fake, stupid boy who is used to deceiving Nigerians. Eedris also said he was the one that introduced 2face to Kenny Ogungbe of Kennis Records, the record label that shot him to prominence.

“Tuface is the definition of his name. He is a very fake person but you would think he is a good person. Life is not about competition but about doing the right thing when God gives you the power to do it.

My problem with Tuface is this, if he tells you good morning, go and check the time. It was the same Tuface that took Nigerians on a ride; he told them that we should protest, he made so much noise but we all know how that ended.

He knows exactly who sent him to do that and after everything, he backed out. So his name is Tuface but he should not call himself Tubaba, he should remain Tuface.

“Eddie Montana and Tony Tetuila are my brothers. We all started together as Remedies, so we have a story to talk about.

Plantashun Boys and Remedies are a family, we all started together, we went on tours together and there are a lot of things that I saw which prompted me to do the song, Wackawickee MCs.

The song was talking about my experience during the Rothman’s groove tour with the Plantashun Boys. Whether you like it or not, we all have a history together and I saw everything that happened.

I came back to sing the song. In the song, I said that Tuface was the Plantashun while the rest are the boys but he should not let it get to his head. Today, God has blessed him but he is still competing with the guy that wrote most of his hit songs. Why isn’t he helping him and forget about the past? Is that what life is all about?

He should go back to Blackface, show him love and forget about competition. That is what I am talking about. Besides that, I have no problem with Tuface. I am showing Tony and Eddie love the same way they show me love.

I took Tuface to Kenny Ogungbe, he is a stupid boy. He should get it straight to his head, it is not about now. Nobody is competing with anybody. He should get his acts together.

Also, we are different from each other, I am a responsible man. Even if he is a married man now, don’t forget he still has about seven ‘wives,’ so when he is talking, he should watch his mouth because we are different people. Tuface should understand that it is not about competition but speak the truth.

I am happy I said all the things that I said because it is very important you know where you are coming from and where you are going to. It is only you that can tell your story.

They say that it is only when you are dead that people would talk about you, but it is not true. Speak for yourself so that when you are dead, people would not lie against you.

The point is that Eedris Abdulkareem added value to the lives of Timaya and some other people. Even Tuface himself, I am the one who took him to Baba Keke for him to sign him under Kennis Music. You can ask Baba Keke.

I am saying this because it is important that people know what is happening, so, you don’t need to start making unnecessary noise. We all make different choices in our lives and the choice I made is that I don’t want to kiss anybody’s ass to make money.

I want to speak my mind and say what I have to say. I knew that after saying those things, they would not love or appreciate me but I decided to work hard and be successful.

I don’t need to make billions, I just want to be comfortable and live a beautiful life, which is what I am doing and I am happy about it.

I love my life and I am happy that they are all talking, this would make them wake up and start adding values to their songs and the people who buy their songs. We live in a very sad reality but I would keep on talking.

Call me whatever you want to call me but I know that I have added value to the lives of people around me. I thank God that one of my boys, Rafioso, has already spoken; so I don’t need to talk to these people again.

The most important thing is for Nigerians to know all these things. I am happy I have made my point.”
