APC lies have grown wings and have taken a life of their own.

Just like peeling an onion hoping to find the seed (truth) all you get is more layers of lies and tears of vanity.

Those who seek relevance and power by lies end up being consumed by lies.

Job man who maintains the same con ends up being conned by his own con.
PoliticsForget Impeachment, Osunbade Can Be Sacked By "Any Other Means" by BlowBack(op): 11:54am On Jul 13, 2017
Going through the 1999 constitution considering the conditions for removal of office of a VP one can not help but see Abacha written all over it.

Section 144 of the 1999 constitution is dedicated to removal of office of both the President and VP.

But scroll down to section 146(3) and we have another separate condition dedicated to the removal of office of the VP:

(3) Where the office of Vice-President becomes vacant:-

(a) by reason of death or resignation, impeachment, permanent incapacity or removal in accordance with section 143 or 144 of this Constitution;

(b) by his assumption of the office of President in accordance with subsection (1) of this section; or

(c) for any other reason,
What is intriguing about Section 146:3 is the subsection "c" highlighted above which states that the VP can be removed by "any other means".

I am very sure Abacha was thinking of his experience with Diya when he added that clause.

What is left to understand here is what constitutes to "any other means"?

Obasanjo tried using this same section to sack Atiku as VP but both the public backlash and stiff Atiku lobby groups within the NASS staunchly opposed Atiku's sack.

Going down to state level we can also use the turbulent 8yrs of Bola Tinubu's tenure where he sacked (not impeached) 3 deputy governors.

Any lawyers in the house should pls help us find out what "any other means" mean.
PoliticsHigh Chief Spirit Buhari And Fake Pastor Osinbanjo's London Visions by BlowBack(op): 11:29am On Jul 13, 2017
Lies beget more lies... the onion state of APC lying govt.

Osinbanjo hopped on a Presidential jet to London, headed to a soho restaurant where he had lunch with one of his kids then rushed to Abuja house to greet Buhari's personal aides from where he hopped back to Abuja to lie to Nigerians (as if we are all gullible redeem members) to say "the President is in high spirits".

The only truth that we can take from Osinbanjo's latest lie is that indeed Buhari is like a spirit high in the sky.

Now why will Osinbanjo stage a fake visit to London claiming he saw and consulted with the President? Well, if there is anybody within the corridors of powers that is as ignorant about the state of the President it is none other than Osinbanjo.

Bola Tinubu (Osinbanjo's puppeteer) came out from his long political hibernation to state after Osinbanjo's much publicised lie, that the visit to London had been in the works for months. This is also a big fat blatant lie coming from Tinubu who has been castrated and rendered impotent by the powerful cabal.

Now why will Tinubu and Osinbanjo stage such an elaborate hoax of the purported visit to high chief spirit Buhari?

The aim of Osinbajo is to create a facade by using the same facade of Buhari fast recuperating from his medical problems - the same lie which the cabal has been using as an umbilical cord to remain in Aso Rock.

For Osinbanjo and Tinubu, their plan is to use Buhari's fast recovery as an ace to check any impeachment moves by th Senate.

Tinubu has also smuggled the fake cabinet reshuffle to weed out ministers whose loyalty are solidly behind Buhari only.

As acting President, Osinbanjo has both the powers to fire and hire appointees within the executive and military. By using a fake visit and a fake consultation and approval from the high chief spirit Buhari, Osinbanjo is perpetuating the myth of Buhari being in good health to which the cabal will not be able to counter since this same "good health" of now high chief spirit Buhari is what is keeping them within the corridors of powers.

Very soon, we will hear the CPC faction of the APC demanding to know of "which Presidency" did fake Pastor Osinbanjo consult with in London?

The '20 pound' lies peddled by Igbos is a testament to their gullibility and victim mentality, its a known fact that Biafran army invade Nigeria's banks spent her money for weapons and other nonsense they deem fit, collectted royalties from oil firms and so on.

Asked them if they ever paid back the money they stole before crying over 20 pounds handed to them.

I just pity the Yorubas that harbor these vermins, the day they rise up against you because of their hate for you draws nearer.
[/s]

There were dozens of Nigerian officers and men executed by firing squad by their own officers at the front for engaging in armed robbery.

A case in point is the Asaba bank armed robbery by troops under Murtala

Murtala had all officers and men involved in the bank robbery executed.

This was not an isolated case but a reoccurring decimal among Nigerian troops in Bendel and also in Ondo.

The Nigerian troops used the fog of war not only to rob banks but to loot properties and rob civilians.

Armed robbery in Nigeria got a big boost during the civil war and the main perpetrators were Nigerian troops.

Long after the war, the Nigerian Govt will arrest, trial and execute scores of Nigerian army officers and men for armed robbery.

Gowon was advised to demobolise the army of 250,000 strong to peace time strength but he ignored it fearing that this move will purge the majority Christian middle belt officers from the army.

Danjuma complained bitterly about Gowon's refusal stating that the Nigerian army was operating like a welfare scheme with old soldiers.

Prior to the war, Nigeria's defense budget stood at less than 5% with just over 10,000 men strong.

After the war the army accounted for 40% of the budget going mainly to pay low wage salaries of over 250,000 men.

The men of the Nigeria army either engaged in outright armed robbery to supplement their low wages or turned to their war tactics of extorting from the civilian populace just as they did in Biafra land.

So for your information, it was Nigerian forces that robbed, looted and pillaged both behind enemy lines and also in recaptured Nigerian territory.

Stop your bloody lies for once!

Gowon released Awolowo from prison to help negotiate a settlement with the cocoa farmers who had began already to form a civilian militia.

Or did he think there was oil being shipped then?

I just pity this parasites and don't blame them at all because if not for Niger Delta oil and the lost Biafran war they would have been slaving for Ab0ki in their cocoa farms.

Federal allocations to state began after the nationalisation decree which began during the Murtala era.

Throughout the civil war, the previous status quo of states remitting to the central Govt still remained.

From which source was the federal govt going to pay state allocations when crude oil production and exports were non-existing?

Look at this stark illiterate.

Statutory state allocations from the central Govt only began well after the civil war.

The civil war years still had the system of states remitting 50% of their IGR to the central Govt.

Or have you forgotten when the nationalisation decree which made all natural resources including crude oil belonging solely to the federal govt?

PoliticsWhy No Amount Of Restructioning Can Save Nigeria by BlowBack(op):
Nigerians have never ever in their brief but very chaotic history sat down and rolled out a constitution that they can be proud to declare as theirs.

The Richardson Constitution forms the very basis of the current revamped Military imposed constitution. This same constitution was drafted, compiled, plagiarized and handed down to Nigerians by the British as an operating document. As at independence, the Nigerian constitution never made reference to any specific religion but the Obasanjo junta in 1978, bowing from northern pressure, allowed for Sharia to be included into our universal law. Now the issue of Sharia and the constitution is not a trivial issue that is relegated to the Muslim north, but going by the revamped 1999 constitution, Sharia law courts can be established in every nook and corner of Nigeria.

Now consider the process of administering the oath of office for a Governor as prescribed by the 1999 Constitution:

185. (1) A person elected to the office of the Governor of a State shall not begin to perform the functions of that until he has declared his assets and liabilities as prescribed in the Constitution and has subsequently taken and subscribed the Oath of Allegiance and oath of office prescribed in the Seventh Schedule to this Constitution.

(2) The Oath of Allegiance and the oath of office shall be administered by the Chief Judge of the State or Grand Kadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal of the State, if any or President of the Customary Court of Appeal of the State, if any, or the person for the time being respectively appointed to exercise the functions of any of those offices in any State.
http://www.nigeria-law.org/ConstitutionOfTheFederalRepublicOfNigeria.htm
Nothing stopped the likes of Aregbesola to have set up an Osun Sharia court during his first term and appoint a Grand Kadi which he could have requested administer the oath of office to him for his second term inauguration.

I had to present the Sharia inclusion into the constitution and how it is binding to all of Nigeria and Nigerians irrespective of religious affiliation.

That aside, will the same north which clamored vigorously mainly through violent student protests across the north back in 1978, sit back and watch the removal of Sharia law from the constitution?

Even the authority of what we mistake as the northern traditional rulers (the the Sultan and Amir is a religious title) depends on Sharia law being included to prop them up above other pagan title holders in the land. The same constitution has turned a religious authority to be the head of all other traditional tittle holders in the land.

So how in God's name do any of you think the northern Ummah will want the status quo to be restructerd?

Another argument I will like to introduce is the fact that there can not be any meaningful working document agreed upon by Nigerians if a National sovereign conference is convened to address the issue of addressing the flawed constitution.

I say this based on the very diverse cultures and clash of civilizations between the Arab Muslim north on the one hand and the Christian/Animist pro Western education south and middle belt on the other.

America and every other functioning democracy got it right because their founding fathers who were cut from the same cloth (European Christian settlers) held a common ground to seeing the British kicked out and an optimistic outlook of self rule among equals guarded by the rule of law (guaranteed by citizen gun ownership) and protected by the guarantee of individual personal liberty and freedom of speech!

In the case of Nigeria, we are not one in thought, ideology or religion and our aspirations are not only at variance but on a collision course.

The British and the Military juntas that single handedly published the constitution obviously saw the near impossibility of all Nigerians reaching a common ground and so took it upon themselves to compile the constitution.

It is on this ground I see any talk of restructioning as dead on arrival as true restructioning can only occur with the full overhaul of the 1999 constitution to which I don't see certain dark forces allowing that to happen any time soon.

The only path left is to peacefully dissolve this assembly and have the Hausa/Fulan and any other people who want to be part of their Caliphate go their separate ways.

The post is tribal. The man is even fair enough to tell you people that he is going on medical leave. Yar adua was six months when we discover he is sick without letting the nation know. That is why there is a provision for vice president in the Nigeria constitution. Buhari is sick that is for certain. And Nigeria president is a human being, he can fall sick he has his vice to handover to when he is not around. So what is the bragging up and down? Oya if it is in the Constitution that a president cannot be sick then go and impeach him. Rubbish, you people should not find something meaningful to do. Keep bragging
The constitution states clearly how a President can be removed from office and it makes clear that the President's sanity and physical well being can be used to remove him from office.

Buhari has not denied being sick but what he has denied us is the extent of his medical troubles.

Should we allow this to continue then we will be having this impasse till 2019 and probably Buhari will contest for another term from his london hospice bed
