None of the European, asian, and African experts are saying this. The virus has been genetically sequenced and analyzed and none of the researchers ever released any peer-reviewed claims or otherwise that the virus was made in a lab.

Rather, the global scientific consensus was it's of an animal origin most likely bats, which are known to host a lot of coronavirus variants. This is in the public domain.

China has absolutely nothing to gain geopolitically, economically, scientifically, and financially, by upsetting the global economy since China is everyone's supply chain. The Chinese would rather a healthy and thriving world so they can offload their products for tons of dollars, and thus become a global economic powerhouse. They didn't become wealthy by disrupting the earth.

Yes china dropped the ball by trying to initially contain information about the virus, and i suspect it's because at first they probably didn't know they were dealing with a new coronavirus, they probably thought ot was seasonal flu or the a resurgence of the first coronavirus. When they did discover this was a novel virus, they informed the WHO.

I'm not exonerating China for their poor and devious handling of the outbreak at the early stage, but their economy and image is being battered and set back 5 years or more, they can't be happy with this scenario.

Right now not a single country is benefiting from this mess, even the pharmaceuticals are not going to get much reward for their discovery of any vaccine, so let's just focus on the global human effort to save the world, and not illogical assumptions of some bioterrorism that makes no sense.
