Are they not health workers? They're supposed to be brave. If every other health workers act like them, we are finished.
Do they have protective kits?
No.
Go and tell ur government to provide safety kits first.

Ogun governor is even closing international borders ?
Lol ... this Buhari is a shithole, I swear.

When we tell zombies that Abba Kyari is the de facto president of Nigeria and that Buhari is just a piece of Mannequin decorating
the Villa, they argue.

Since Kyari was quarantined for Covid 19, nothing seems to be happening in the villa again. No one is giving orders.
Buhari is senile, lifeless and only used in the Villa for photoshoot.

Every governor is now a president and commander-in-Chief of his state.

Calm down

The official airport close down report says that only emergency flights are allowed into the country

Jack Ma's shipments came in amid airport closure, which goes to show that flights can still come in

The US evacuating their citizens is an emergency situation.

I know many people don't like Buhari, including myself, but this is not the right instance for attacking the oldie
But where is this Buhari sef. Abi them dey forbid am to address us even if na twice a week?
This is not good o.
Politics › Re: Criticize President Buhari: Don't Insult Him by blowjohn(m): 8:04am On Mar 28, 2020
The OP is not a sensitive human. Otherwise he wouldn't have trodden the path of trying to cover up the president's inadequacies.
I agree the president shouldn't be insulted.
But we r talking about people who are in abject poverty, fear and so many others whose anger levels keep increasing everyday.
If the president is too incapacitated to work, why cant he just resign? How can we be looking for our president months after a pandemic broke out, only to be given a rude treatment in the form of a short video clip?
Donald Trump, angela Merkel, boris Johnson and co are all in their 60s and 70s and they show their face and give updates everyday to their citizens.
Why is ours like a family with no father and mother, cos even the VP has been quiet?
Nobody should insult the president I agree. But let his actions through his subordinates count.
Digressin......the minister of health and those that delayed closing our borders should have been sacked since.

Nigeria needs leadership now more than ever

We need intelligent leaders, with very high IQs and love for their country and states

Not leaders that will allocate cars to themselves, when other countries are scrambling to invent makeshift ventilators due to low supply

Not leaders that will abandon their own countries hospital for more than two months in London

God will definitely see all of us through these trying times, but let us not mock God by remaining foolish in our decisions.
U said it all.
It was very insensitive of them to be collecting cars at this time when the healthcare system needs overhauling.
All they know how to do is wear agbada and crack jokes when in session.
No decorum.
No sense of urgency.
Low IQ.
Greedy people with no intellectual capacities.
U should see the way they made jokes the day they voted against air lifting Nigerians from china over the pandemic. No professional ethics at all. Just laughing and cracking jokes like it was the late night or Ellen DeGeneres show

Health › Re: LUTH Sends Away Man Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 Over Lack Of Bed Space - SR by blowjohn(m): 3:45pm On Mar 27, 2020
BreconHills:
Bros we have less than 80 confirmed. The key word being confirmedThe tipping point for Nigeria based on current infrastructure is way lower than western benchmarks. Do not forget that Luth has just been stressed by a lassa fever outbreak and is already reeling from emergency ( non covid 19) pressures.

The problem is that the three tiered system of health care is stretched at the top with first and second line care largely empty. LUTH will be irresponsible to accept covid infections with low to moderate symptoms.

This does not mean that I feel that LUTH or the health ministry are doing great guns. I lost my sister in law there a few months ago to elective surgery. The place is a mad house. But that is precisely the point, we need to address things as they are not as we want them to be. What we need now is to ensure that covid infections do not overwhelm an already decrepit system
Chai nawa.
This our government eh. Equip hospitals they wont.
Sorry about ur loss bro.

USA has over 200,000 ventilators and they said they are not well prepared for covid19.

Nigeria has less than 500 ventilators and they claim they can handle the covid19.

UK govt just ordered extra 10,000 ventilators.
Nigerian senators are busy buying cars.
And the bastards in CNN were asking the man in charge of getting and distributing the ventilators if they will be able to get up to 1 million units of it.
Am happy the man roasted her.
Very satanic people CNN
Health › Re: LUTH Sends Away Man Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 Over Lack Of Bed Space - SR by blowjohn(m): 3:13pm On Mar 27, 2020
BreconHills:
Quite apart from that, LUTH followed the correct protocol of taking name and details and asking him to self isolate. There is no way the health infrastructure can accommodate everyone who is positive. What it can do is care for the elderly, those with more conditions and those requiring assisted breathing. There is nothing here.

And this is the problem. In a time when we need fact based reporting and critique, some are stoking up emotions for their personal agenda. The only thing for which LUTH has gone wrong is that there is no need for the man to have come in at all. He should have made a toll free call to a LUTH call centre. The Nationsl centre for infectious disease and the hospitals nearest the patient need to get their coordination together - a fact that SR did not spot in their mad hunt for blame Buhari!
How many corona virus positive people do we have so far?
Les than 80.
Ur saying we cant accommodate 80 yet?
Like seriously?
The minister of health needs to be arrested and then sacked.

The average Nigerian christian will blame witches and forces of nature for his misfortune rather than take responsibility for their shortcomings.

The average Nigerian will also take the easy route to blaming the government for their ignorance and failings rather than do what's right or appropriate.

Just look how everyone is taking down the FG for being inadequate and inefficient and comfortably overlooking the failure on the part of the citizens to do what's proper.
Good evening Sir.
Pls what proper thing did the citizens fail to do?
