A secondary school girl in my street made hand sanitizers and put it inside empty coke bottles and gave them out for free, I actually got one too,I have never been more proud of being a Nigerian than I was yesterday, it's nice to see some of the incoming generations are patriotic, this girl did this without any publicity.
Wow.
That's very uncommon. God bless her.

Nigerian things are always different.
Go to a fast food restaurant and hear the girls attending to u gisting loudly in ur face as if they're in a beer parlour.
U buy whatvu want to buy and at the exit the security man starts his own.
Anywhere u go no ethics of profession.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia's President Putin Exposed To Coronavirus - BBC by blowjohn(m): 9:35am On Apr 01, 2020
kikero:
1.The cause of the pandemic was a member of the coronavirus family that jumped into humans and mutated into a virulent virus.

(Infections , whether viral or bacterial, etc have been jumping from animals to humans for centuries. They are called zoonotic infections)

2.Viruses can mutate easily because their structure means their DNA is exposed to external factors that can cause mutations easily

3.In the good old days, when people did not travel, a viral disease could be localized to a certain point...now that people travel more ...viruses spread extensively and create problems. COVID 19 spread easily because a lot of people from developed countries visit China as tourists, and Chinese people themselves travel heavily

4.The Chinese limited spread by extensive lockdowns , and strict testing measures as early as December. Most countries did not start on time (Italy and the US are two notorious examples)

5.The Chinese economy is severely affected. Their revenue comes from manufacturing...and since they cannot manufacture anything..their economy is suffering. As are most global economies.

6.No one can weaponize a virus effectively. Humans are so genetically diverse that a virus may kill some and leave many alive.

7.Most people who catch covid 19 will recover. (if you read one of the papers in my post you quoted)...it is for the few that would fall severely ill that protective measures are being carried out.

6.
Ur first point is the Alibi.
We all know some of those viruses reside in the wild.
Again chinese stocks have gone up very high since this pandemic.

Fact is: guy is broke. Even his oga donated ONLY 50m
Obi will never donate much money to human beings.
Have u forgotten how he donated just 2 million naira to fire victims a while ago?
Not that the money wasnt much, but in all my life, that's the least I have ever heard a politician donate to any cause of that nature.
And the man is always talking about owning only 2 pairs of shoes and one wrist watch.
So it will be the shock of the century if Peter obi donates even 10 million naira

There have been complaints that China is not reporting the amount of dead accurately...

But as regards cures, China ain't hiding anything. Infact, Chinese doctors and researchers are publishing papers on the clinical features and what they are doing to treat the virus. From what we know, most people who get infected with COVID 19 will recover...it is the minority that will die.

Here are

1. A paper from Shanghai

2. Another from Zhejiang

3.Another chinese paper

4.Actual clinical experience from the USA
The cure is just for collateral damage.
I mean who caused the pandemic

LOL....they aren't hiding anything at all.

For comparison...Italy has 105, 792 cases with 12, 428 deaths. The minority will die.

Also, China has been battling this thing for longer than other countries. Italy started fighting this 2 months ago.
China is hiding something.

Health › Re: Coronavirus: Nigeria May Not Need Many Ventilators For Patients – Minister by blowjohn(m): 4:49pm On Mar 31, 2020
aztec:
To think that this is coming from the help minister. This is really pathetic. The use of a ventilator often occurs in the context of a MEDICAL EMERGENCY!!! This means that at a moments notice a patient can go into shock and need to be placed on life supporting devices like ventilators.

Now this minister is saying that it is at such time that a ventilator will now be requested to be flown in from say Abuja to Lagos!
I can’t believe i’m hearing this. What happens to the patient that can’t breath during the transit time?
By the time the ventilator arrives the patient is most likely dead or worse brain dead!

We are just synonymous with failure in this country. A ventilator cost N9m meaning that 1,000 ventilators will cost about N9-N10 billion give or take. Let this sink in.
I say this because in a year we spend somewhere between N400billion and N1trillion of fuel subsidy! So it means that the government priorities fuel subsidy to equipping our hospitals to actually save lives.
Even the National Assembly budget is bigger than either education and health budget. We really are a cursed nation! I regret being a Nigerian!
See ehn our leaders are not visionary at all.
Imagine aba kyari moving from Abuja to lagos becos lagos it's the only place they can get a reasonable hospital to use.
Our hospitals are under extreme stress.
I met a mechanic that was turned back from 3 hospitals in one night in abuja because of availability of bed space and he child who was sickly ended up dying.
Just imagine humans planning on how to be transporting ventilators from one city to the other as if its Olympic torch.
What stops them from buying let's say 5 each for each state in the country?
What the heck is wrong with these people?
Do they smoke weed before coming out to talk or what?

They called my wife last week.... the shocking part is they called her full name.

First Bank customers data base has been compromised.

this is serious
It doesn't necessarily it's from someone in first bank.
It can be from nepa Bill's or other payments u made recently like from POS.
Recently I submitted an application in a hospital and a week later someone called me by my name claiming he was from the ministry of health. I knew it was scam sha from my psychological impulse plus the way he asked which hospital I worked in.
He was posing as an agent for federal government immunization program and wanted me to meet his friend somewhere for some form of contract. So I told him to give me 1 min to find a biro and jot down his friends number. That's how I blocked him.

It was similar to one i experienced many years ago. The guy even made me speak with someone who sounded British( to use my money and buy certain electricity installation parts and sell to the man). Back then I recognised the voice of the black man as the nepa official that came to do some work for us about 3 weeks back.

Here is a .message that was sent to me last week. Abeg make una help me flash the number till the scammer life frustrate.
