I normally will insult you but you’re lucky I can’t do that right now.

Just leave all these people alone & drop hating them. They have escaped what you are still battling with so pray for grace.
Ur a fool.
Keep making them ur reference point.
Nonsense.

They are not the cause of your predicament bro. Don’t hate them because they have found their way.

The people you should hate are the polite who caused all the poverty & made Nigeria hell on earth.

And about them talking about you, they don’t know you or care about you to talk about you. Just face your hustle in the new year & pray for grace.

Naija no be am oooo. Bobrisky & Tacha don find their way, u sef find your way. No amount of sermonizing will save you from the crushing poverty in Nigeria. Find something to do to escape the anguish.
Guy ur lost o I swear.
People like u will even indulge in homosexuality or other fetish methods to make it.
Which one are u shouting 'find ur way' up and down?
if u like don't enjoy the works of ur hand.

Bro, you would to face your hustle in the new year.

I don’t know what gives you the impression that you’re better than these people? They have been able to make a life for themselves in the jungle called Nigeria & you still choose to demonize them rather than face the politicians that have turned Nigeria to hell on earth.

You know what? You are just jealous that the people you see as immoral & unholy are living your dream. It hurts & I know that but you should channel your energy into creating a good life for yourself because Nigeria is for the fittest oo.

Do better in 2020 abeg.
See this guy. Nobody is saying we r better.
But we prefer the life we r living to theirs is what we r saying.
Even the bible talks about the wicked being richer than the righteous. But that doesn't bother us one bit.
If we were jealous like u said trust me we would go the same way and the world will be full of filth.
U talk as if committing sin and living a good life is cool as long as poverty is out.

The same way we talk about them is the same way they talk about us so they have to deal with it.

Why are you calling them clowns? They live better than millions of Nigerians. You would do well to change in 2020. Everybody doesn’t have to live by your moral code oo.

Edit: if you insult me, I won’t respond oo so don’t bother.
grin grin
If u understand what good living means u wouldn't say that.
Like u said , don't live by moral code. Start stealing.
Then divert a lil into prostituting or homosexuality.
Nonsense.

Points taken. U are very correct on many points. What OP is saying is that GUO has the obligation to inform the relatives of the vent but they failed to do that. Rather, they feigned ignorance of the issue, thereby putting the family in serious dispair. If I were OP, I would not act like I know what happened. I would simply hold the company responsible for the whereabout of my relative, call them out for possibly using him for rituals and slam them with impossible demands. Then they would begin to tell the truth. There is a disadvantage in using this mechanism, tho
Lol so which mechanism u want make e use na grin grin grin cheesy.

shocked

This is the problem with the absence of a functional consumer protection system in Nigeria.
Everyone is at the mercy of everyone.

But I'd love to know,

Aside showing genuine empathy, do you honestly think GUO is/was under any obligation to ensure the release of their kidnapped passengers?
Because I do not.
I may be wrong but I am open to Lalas. ticlala and other elders putting me right.

They are a transport company for fvck's sake and not an Elite Marine squad.
I doubt they even have an insurance policy on travellers or that any contractual agreement exists with passengers wherein they undertake to an unfailing delivery to destination.

The good thing here is that you got your relative back alive, but I'd say you spent too much energy on the transport company and it is sad that they treated you as petty scum and that is probably how they saw you considering you channeled none of such energy on the security agents and kidnappers in whose hands your relative's release solely lay in.

The wise ones here are your other relatives who saw the bigger picture and sought their salvation away from the tranpsort company.

The social media thing has given us a misguided spirit of aluta that solely hinges on blackmail.

Sit down and think again,
Do you know that if it was only you that your relative had, he'd probably be dead now while you'd have only succeeded in a viral smear campaign.

Next time life is involved, please use your head.

While at it, grow some conscience too.
To think you expect a transport company to dole out 1million as ransom for a passenger who probably paid less than 5k.

Ask yourself if you'd do the same if you owned GUO.
Nice write up.
And am happy u mentioned insurance.
Many suffering Nigerians experience today is as a result of insurance policies we abandon.
We would rather build a house in the village than insure our future.
The average Nigerian family doesn't keep money for emergencies.
or indulge in insurance packages.
That's why u see people causing traffic congestion just becos their car got scratched.

Many Nigerians don't play with the word party. Not because it's an Avenue to meet and socialize but becos of food and drinks.

Quite a stretch to be honest. My worst traveling experiences have been in the South South axis, especially Benin and Asaba.
Av stayed in benin for at least 7 years. It's not as bad as abia though.
Theirs is more of draining issues. And they r constantly fixing roads in Benin though most times they don't do standard work.
As for asaba, I can't say much.

I stayed in Ibadan for 19 years.
Then potholes don't survive weeks. They didn't construct many new roads but they maintained the ones they have.

But u people are clamouring for biafra as if u will not have people ruling u.
U people don't go after ur governors and other grassroots leaders.
In fact no state in the south east gives hope.
And this goes to all the other regions too.
The day we start holding our governors accountable and voting only good ones is the day we will reap benefits.
If u doubt me, let someone name 3 governors in the last 30 years that has left a lasting legacy in his state.
Am waiting.

Even though having that look and that hair on you shouldn't be enough to label you a criminal, in really sane societies (not societies that people think is sane), you shouldn't be having that look.

Like in the societies Imes has influenced.. grin

First that look in and of itself is irresponsible..

Secondly, it is not appropriate for soneone who stands as being part of a force that curbs people's excesses and irresponsible acts in the society to be having that look.

If you are cleanser, then you yourself should look clean.. If you want to rid a society of corruption, then you should be corrupt free.. you may make mistakes sometimes of which no human is free but generally, you should be corrupt free.

If you want to enjoin good and forbid evil, then people who look at you should see positive examples.

if it were to be in the society influenced by Imes, you will not be having that type of hair and be a policeman. I trust my Imes.. . It will never happen!!!

Imes is the end of days, the days when nonsense like this will be accepted without shame and he is the beginning of new days when nonsense like this will be frowned upon grin

Imes, we await your coming grin
Pls what is this imes?
av been seeing it on nairaland for some weeks now.
