I'd prefer you post yours so I can get in contact with you. |
govman4:This depends on the voltage system. Its always best to connect batteries of the same age and manufacturer together, but very difficult when you are dealing with used batteries. In short, using Ceejay and others as an example, if you connect the batteries in parallel and it is a 12v system then fine. But if it is a 24v or higher connection, then probably best not to. |
Please if you know any tried and trusted person that can help with ordering and delivering items from india, please help me post their contact details. |

ceejay80s:No truer words, lost 2 fans and a couple of led lights when I was still using UPS. Just google it, modified sine wave is very bad for fans that use coil. Also if you hear excessive humming when you switch on your fan or any electric device, it's very likely not compatible with your UPS. I was very lucky the UPS didnt spoil my soundbar. |
saint2ace:Hello guys, just decided to catchup with this thread and surprised to see people are throwing away their suoer chargers. PLEASE THEY ARE EASILY FIXABLE. Since Ceejay set up this thread, I've bought 3 different suoers ( the original black 20 amp, the blue 30 amp, the black 12/24v 20amp) and fixed all of them multiple times thanks almost always to NEPA surges. Arena guys can fix it, though they will rudely and hurriedly do so, but I want to reccommend an elderly calm guy near the main seller in Labinjo (it was his boys who recommended him first) who will fix it and not give you story. His name is Anyanwu and number 08023441811. Also you can try him with any other inverter or UPS too. Please haggle with him ooo (4kish for suoer usually). |
Vtrd:And what makes you think Mr Funtau came to see the governor? Is their any indication that is the CBN governor's residence or office? Now lets try a little trick. Imagine the man sitting down is not a Northerner and the one standing is not a Southerner.... try that for a moment and look at the picture again..... because all I see is a man in a suit walking into a place where 2 men are seated and one of them beckons to him that he wants to whisper in his ear. Like I said, maybe its because I failed natural sciences at school... because I don't know many people who bow while typing with their phone in their two hands. |
fahren:I don't get it. Is he suppose to stand up straight to listen to the whispering of someone sitting down? Pls explain as I failed all natural sciences at school. |
Behold the stomach filled with garri and unable to buy panadol.

tsephanyah:My sister God has created all of us differently just thank him for how and where he chose to create you from. |
Later they will be competing for the most educated ethnic group in the country award. A four star General did no have N500 or money to clear his dustbin but rides in the latest Toyota Tundara filled with fuel, hires the best SANs to fight his case and all his family members remain comfortable in the USA. I'm sure the harrowing pictures we saw of his bullet ridden gigantic belly was because of all the garri he has been forced to drink because of the EFCC. Even if you believe it was an assassination ( which i kind of do for other reasons anyway), this silly story that a General drove to a remote farm without N500 being peddled by his extended family makes me wonder if Nigerians are among one of the most stupid sentimental people in the world. I'll leave you with Mohammed Abacha's legendary words " No matter how much money the FG seizes from us, we can never be as poor as Dangote". Nigerians should keep feeling pity for thieves. |
Olumeme:I agree. Maybe next time you people will think twice before you bring a hardened thief as our saviour. Nonsense. |
McStoic:In the scenario you are trying to paint it should be "I couldn't agree more" |
lefulefu:You have not looked hard enough. |
Does it come with a usb cable? |
calddon:Is it dual sim?? |
Bahddo:You should have just taken the correction. The next line of what you posted indicates the OP is correct. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passport |
Deltayankeeboi: Coming from the tribe where a governor has successfully made his son-in-law his immediate replacement and a young widow who is not ready let her grandpa late husband's name rest in peace, is the recognised as the national leader/goddess of their people when his adult sons are still alive and kicking, tufiakwa!!! |
I dont know when Premium Times and Sahara became this biased. So it is because APC gave N5000 and the people's governor gave N3000 that is why he lost? Not because he did not pay salaries and had no credible or tangible project to show in 4 years, filled with foul mouthed abuses and wars with imaginary adversaries? Let the free media continue going to the gutter and analysing things like they were born yesterday in this popcorn generation. |
Only gods of men can give fake prophecies- no servant of The Living God can ever be disgraced or embarrassed when they prophesy. The Almighty is not an author of confusion. |
Hofbrauhaus:May the Almighty continue to disgrace all these fake gods of men and their mumu followers. |

NiyiOmoIyunade:Thanks so much for the response. Truly the insights and the advice you all give is truly priceless. Will probably continue alternating batteries for another week or two before I "parallel" them together and will contact you soon on the desulphators. Thanks again. |
BTW they are both VRLA batteries with the Ritar being a slimline. |
Hello great house, please I need some advice. I have been on a 12v backup system for a while with a hardworking used Ritar 150 amp 10hr battery which has served me fine for 2 years with little degradation noticed in performance. No solar just NEPA for charging. Now I recently got a used 200amp 20hr FullRiver battery, which had been left uncharged for a considerable while ( probably years) but looks in perfect condition. However once fully charged I noticed a few things about the FR battery: It's float is lower than the Ritar once unplugged ( 13.2 vs 12. and it capacity with load seemed to be only 85% of the Ritar ( I usually disconnect any battery once the voltage drops to 12.1).Now I have been solely running on the FR for almost 2 weeks now and it does seem its capacity to bear load is improving and float rising slightly ( almost 12.9). Now my intention has always been to connect both batteries in parallel and use them together. But since it's clear the FR wasn't performing to its best , I decided I would get a desulphator to hopefully get the Float on the FR more in sync with the Ritar before I join them together. But I read a recent exchange between Oga Niyi and Keikei and i am now wondering if a battery balancer would be a better solution or if it would even work with the 12v parallel system I have in mind?? My main fear is I don't want the Ritar battery pulled down permanently by its supposed elder brother the FR. Please all suggestions on how best to get the best out of the 2 batteries will be much appreciated. And kudos to everyone on here as I have gained soo much from all of you already. |
Stalwert:Yes, they are probably having epileptic fits now. They are only happy when Buhari plays to their script or appoints true Biafrans into key positions. Congrats Ayine!!! |
I can only imagine the Queen of England writing an auto biography where she spends most of the time revealing private conversations with any of her subjects let alone the almost 20 different prime ministers she has dealt with ?Long and short, we are a broken people. It is sad to see how all our leaders have no iota of respect for the office they hold and are soooo blinded by only their selfish inetrests and those of their direct kith and kin. I just pray this new generation will learn and not put any of their matters on top their head. |
watchful:IPOBS OF NIGERIA...... Google is your friend!! http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/09/%E2%80%8Eworst-apc-governor-better-best-pdp-governors-sen-goje/ Now continue dancing with Saraki and looking for reasons to wail. |
Ndipe:What a wonderful thread and God bless you for bringing this wonderful story back to life, for me at least. |
tuale4u:I agree with the headline and I agree with you. It's just like saying which is worse, manslaughter or murder- both lead to the death of someone, but one is punished more harshly than the other. Of course those who have looted have caused more deaths than Nnamdi Kanu's stupid words have so far- but again both looters and Kanu have blood on their hands. It is sad though to see the reactions of literate youth from a particular part of the country who always try to rationalize evil as long as he/she is their perceived kinsman (Reverend King another recent example). And to be honest this section of the country will have only themselves to blame for blindly following the divide and conquer script of the "elite" as because of their actions/inactions- the Looters will probably get a slap on the wrist while their Nwafor will feel the full wrath of the law for not belonging to the "elite". In a perfect world, sorry normal world (go ask China), looters should face the firing squad and Kanu should face something lighter- but some more than others have agreed and contributed to the current reality where a man who steals a mobile phone is hanged while a corrupt Leader with blood on his hand is worshipped, shielded and celebrated. |
vedaxcool:I agree 100%. But I am still grateful to God that die hard investigative journalists like SH will continue to give these truly wicked people little sleep. |
twinskenny:Any response to this? |
and it capacity with load seemed to be only 85% of the Ritar ( I usually disconnect any battery once the voltage drops to 12.1).
