Kindly alter the title, the "ex-President" tag might confuse young kids.
PoliticsRe: Remarkable Similarities Between Goodluck Ebele Jonathan And Awolowo by BLS1: 12:57pm On Nov 13, 2013
@ ABOVE

The problem I have with people like the OP are that instead of them to be decent and humble enough to admit that they would like FREE lectures on matters they know next to nothing about (in this case AWO v Akintola) they start up stupid threads with stupid assertions pretending to be knowledgeable.

5 pages in and the OP has contributed nothing to intellectually stimulate anyone here, he keeps putting forward myths and hearsays to backup an argument based on RECENT DOCUMENTED HISTORY; at the end this engagement has been as fulfilling as spending endless productive afternoons gossiping with a housewife!

Anyway I doubt he is a full blooded Northerner, as the traits of humility and if I may say modicums of honesty we usually find inherent with the classical Northerner is absent. With the way he has twisted FACTS we all know the tribe he resembles. Emotional Blackmail has not been used yet but my fingers are crossed.

Good luck to all the educationists on this thread, AWO would be proud.

I use to think we needed a law that prescribes only capital punishment for public looters, but I am beginning to think a law that prescribes the same punishment for all tribalists that support them would sanitise Nigeria faster.

Nonsense country of majorly nonsense people. See ordinary Ghana
What is wrong with you people and deep rooted prejudices?

I challenge you to show that the similarities I listed in my first post do not exist. You are free to open your own thread about their dissimilarities if you wish. You disdain for GEJ and/or hatred for GEJ is acknowledged. I choose not to believe that you are an illiterate or someone who is half educated who is unable to read and comprehend simple English. Go back and reread my initial post and come back with a more appropriate response.

I am not in the business of teaching people English comprehension.
Like I said, it must be insanity, because I cannot understand how a man will just wake up one day, keep adding 2+2 together and keep coming out with bullshit answers. Your 3 points are silly and thoroughly poor comparisons, why not compare John F kennedey and GEJ since the former also interfered with southern states and their state racial policies. Oga you are clutching at straws and you know it, I would reply you and do more than justice to your 3 silly points but I am busy at work and using my mobile phone to repsond to you.

Anyway Kats would give you the education you so badly need which you would have had in your region if you lot had learnt to choose leaders on merit and results.

@OP

It's been ages since I have read such pretentious garbage and that's saying something as I view NL regularly. Your desperate attempt to create your own dots and connect them into some sort of articulate argument is entirely laughable. You compared a. humble scholar with a charlatan, a man of honour and forthrightness with one who surrounds himself with crooks and nincompoops, a beloved leader with an unfortunate accident, a true serious Christian with one who makes one question "Christianity" and uses it to score cheap political points.... OP you are a big BIG fool. Infact I take that back, this must be some sort of temporary INSANITY, how can anyone sane compare the educational record of AW0 to JONATHAN... Are you trying to rewrite history.. Show me a school DR Jonathan built and I'll show you a 100 AWO birthed. Show me a student of DR GEJ (you will only be able to show me one, PATIENCE) and I will show you 1000s of real Professors our beloved letter writer produced, influenced and inspired. Or should we ignore the fact that DR GEJ has been a political power broker since 1999 till now, the richest era in Nigerian History (Financially) and he has nothing but a falling standard of education and incessant strikes to show on his CV.... While a man used cocoa to make the Western Region of Nigeria the envy of Africa? Even till now you cannot compare Ogun with Bayelsa in anyway educationally and you have the gall to bring up such a laughable comparison... you must have lost your senses!

Anyway I will leave others to savage the stupidity of your claims.... But the way you fools keep brining up this dead mans name and comparing him with all your failed leaders needs to be checked! The fact remains Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo was never the President or defacto leader of Nigeria and cannot be blamed for your woes, he offered and you fools refused... live with it and deal with it. We in the Western Region are happy to assess his legacy over and over again.

So now NO CARS were bought at all..... Wow!!!

To think so called fellow Nigerians were playing the tribal card and condemning others for being interested in a paltry N225 million spent.... so Princess Stells Oduah, the greatest Igbo Woman ever, The most Fantastic Aviation Minister to ever land on the Nigerian soil has now shown herself to be no better than a common petty thief.... Wow!!

I will never look at some posters the same again.

igbeke: ah, u are wrong for d above statements, bro.
i kno u r not from d moon. hav u eva bn to a/ibom? frm ur comment, u hav not. but let me educate u a little.
uyo is judge to be one of d most beautiful (if not d most) cities in nigeria right now. apabio has implimented pple oriented programmes, more dan any other governor in dis administration. wat do u call dat, playing? can ur governor boast of such achievements?
conclusively, i think u've gat no home training for hurling insults on an active governor.
Look at this fool, nations the size of local governments like Singapore are leaving us behind and you are here praising a governor building flyovers when you have no traffic and mass unemployment in your state.

PoliticsRe: No Regrets Over Clash With Former CJN –justice Salami by BLS1: 11:59am On Oct 31, 2013
Goddex: Salami: (to Aregbe and Fayemi beating his hands on the chest) I made you guys governor!

Fayemi: We know Baba . . . we'll remain loyal

Aregbe: Baba ese gan . . . thank you . . . thank you

Salami: Kotope . . . but you guys have to also remain grateful to Asiwaju . . . shogbo?
He facilitated my appointment to Court of Appeal and I promised to pay him back. He has also stood by me throughout these trying moments.
Oya mumu, explain to all of us how Tinubu, an ex governor of Lagos State always in the opposition, influenced the appointment of Salami, a northern federal judge who has never been under the sphere of power/influence of an AD/ACN/ APC state, into a PDP led federal government position ? Or was it the opposition that wrote the constitution that brought to life and empowered the NJC?
Next thing you fools will be say is that Tinubu presented a case of schnapps to our President and that's how he made it happen!
PoliticsRe: Between Jonathan Or Akpabio Who Will You Pick As Eastern Nigeria President by BLS1: 7:17pm On Oct 25, 2013
konjakonja: They are both Biafrans and are qualified to be president of Biafra. Okoko Idem the second president of Biafra was an Akwaibomite.
Good luck to the minorities in your New Biafra, Lord knows they will need it seeing as the majority can't be bothered to get their history let alone the spelling of your names right!

Anyway I stand by what I said before, seeing as in the history of Nigeria an Igbo man has never handed power to a non-Igbo without the threat of violence/force.

Lastly its Okokon Ndem!

As the man rightly pointed out, if they had lost Feyi or any other member of their family they would have not gone on with the burial the next day. We should all start to see each other as brothers and sisters and learn sensitivity.

Well done to these Undertakers for taking a principled stand.

blink182: you are either exaggerating or first bank ought to be reported to the cbn.

I never collect dollars, whenever I receive money I immediately get paid the naira value.
You don't seem to know much about how Nigerian Banks operate (in practice not theory). What he said is very plausible especially if it was less than a 100 dollars and if the bank attendants felt they had seen a "customer" in him.
BusinessRe: Western Union Money Transfer Now To Be Paid In Naira by BLS1: 12:46pm On Oct 02, 2013
Am I the only one that can see this pushing up the price of dollars in the unofficial markets? I mean if we are using demand and supply principles have we not made it harder for "abokis" and other unofficial sources to get dollars by this act? Surely this hasn't been well thought out.

They are covering up each others nyash.... I am not surprised that this so called retraction come from the NATION newspapers which we all know Tinubu owns... even the way the journalist wrote you can see his preoccupation was not the juicy case but making sure we disbelieve that Oando has anything to do with Ibori.. I mean read the story it seems more like an Oando press statement, clowns!!

Can you see the foolishness of some southerners, to think these are the same people that will open their useless mouths to castigate the Yorubas for apparently being slaves to the North, see BIG FOOLS!!

Mr PH do you remember a certain Sokoto state Governor that was suspended by this same Tukur (mallam dealing with mallam for not showing senior mallam enough respect) and not only did Wamako not beg (talkless of writing a letter) he openly boasted that his suspension must be a big joke. So how did our President, the Lion of Biafra respond to Mallam Wamako's open taunts: he quickly called Senior Mallam Tukur and asked him why did he suspend Wamako over such a personal matter. And guess what, within a week (against Tukurs advice) WITH NO BEGGING INVOLVED Wamako's suspsension was reversed and I believe PDP even gave him an official apology!!!

So tell me, MUMU of the South how your brother Amechi has been arrogant? Is it a crime for the Govenor of a whole RIVERS STATE (far more important than Sokoto in everyway) to feel he should be treated with respect? Has he not tried to beg El Presidente both openly and privately? Has he openly laughed at him like all the Mallams continually do? Has he refused to shake his hand or stand by him to take a picture? Why must he now write a letter because he has been sincere by advising his brother the way he is doing things is not good?

Honestly fools like you make me thank God I am from the tribe of so called "servants" who have successfully fustrated Mallams more than anyone else. How can a Yorubaman make his brother look so cheap in front of the world, FOOLS.
