Look, i used to have one long term reliable back in the day that told all her friends that the reason we didnt marry was because my mother did not like her but she has never met my mother, my mother does not even know her. The truth is she was never even my girlfriend, we were F**K buddies and she always knew. She never had the qualities i sought in a wife, she is also still unmarried, so it is not just me that didnt see her as wife material. Women always make up stories to hide their shame.

I still maintain that while removal of fuel subsidy was economically desirable, the way the GEJ administration tried to go about it, was very insensitive. To remove fuel subsidy in the middle of the Christmas celebrations was an immoral action. We all know the expenses people incur at the end of year, how could they think that was a morally right thing to do?
Of course the opposition seized on it and lead the protests, that's what oppositions do. The ultimate responsibility for that sad event lies with GEJ and his advisors.
Just to be clear, I am in no way shape or form an APC supporter, I think they are a cancer on the Nigerian state, but that does not mean we should not tell the truth at all times
