Ah it’s been a while.
at this point in time, i don’t know what to do! Funds for my school fees and expenses haven’t dropped, but i will keep praying! I’ve been searching for scholarships and student loans i can get to reduce the burden on my sponsor but to no avail. There is still time and I believe God will work wonders!
Anyways, this form A, how long does it take to get processed? I don’t think my sponsor is confident of sending large funds with the CIBC student pay option the school gave😅 So, can someone give me a detailed explanation of the process? Or anyone that has used the CIBC service, can i have some points to alleviate my sponsor’s fears?
It will end in praise for us all, in Jesus’ name

Ah finally someone like me😂
I also finished waec last year and I applied to TRU, UManitoba, UNB and OntarioTech. The best option for easy application was definitely UNB. Any questions you have for them, they answer within a few hours and in my case that I had to defer, they were so helpful. It is also one of the cheapest schools to attend for my program. You can also dm if you need more help with applying and I can tell you what I did.

When is the best time to travel ?

Can I renew my passport now and travel with both passport without any issues ?

This isn’t on the first page so people might not see it but, i hope you people commenting “fake train” “chinko train” know that derailment is most caused by the recklessness of the train driver (or conductor i forgot the word)

Do you feel like there’s a need for the proposed Lekki International Airport apart from saving the people of Lekki time in getting to the MMIA?
I feel that not only is it a “waste” of public funds, but a distraction by the current leadership in Lagos in order to brainwash citizens. There isn’t enough air traffic coming to Lagos to justify the need of a second airport. Even if it’s converted to a majorly cargo airport, those funds are better off invested in modernising the old terminal of MMIA.
My fear is that hundreds of millions of dollars might go into a project that’ll be abandoned or under-utilised like most of the “international” airports being built in different parts of the country today. We aren’t focusing on the main problems those funds can solve, but on essentially luxury projects that only a tiny percentage of the population can enjoy.
My main question is, will you take the time, if elected as governor of Lagos state, to carefully review the ongoing and future planned projects in Lagos in order to know where funds can be more appropriately utilised for the benefit of the majority of Lagosians?

My passport isn’t valid for the duration of my 4-year course. Should I apply for a passport renewal before applying? How long will it take to get the renewed passport? How much will it cost?
If I decide to apply with my current passport, i heard i can apply for a passport renewal from the Nigerian Consulate in Ottawa. Is my study permit valid until when my passport expires or to the end of my course?

Self sponsored and self employed business registration documents were submitted .Primary applicant who is my spouse has 22m in her personal acct while l have 5m plus in my personal account too . We provided 27m plus coupled with asset evaluation of 50m plus.This thing came as a shock to me

I’m not a guru but what are all the documents you submitted? Maybe the reason for refusal would be evident to someone then?

Some people use virtual cards. But the easiest I know is walking to any UBA bank and request for Dollar card. Get the card for $4 and source for the fund from Aboki to process your application.

Anyways, while writing my SOP, when talking about the money set aside for travel expenses, is it okay to overestimate the amount for plane ticket? At the moment, Ethiopian Airlines flight to Toronto is fluctuating from 400k to over 800k, so is it okay to say, “1m has been set aside for my travel expenses” ?

Ultimately it depends on your course, but for me that’s going for undergraduate (i just left secondary school) my best option is New Brunswick, the summer months (from late march to late August) can get as warm as 27 degrees but the winter months get really cold.

Just go to your bank and tell them you want “my bank statement Ticket for embassy “ they will give you a form to fill you’ll input the embassy you’re sending to and the time frame of the statement. Some banks like gt can request it through their apps ( go to statement in your app you’ll see “send to embassy, send to a third party” they will send you a ticket containing password. Print and add to your application.
If it’s not in your bank app you can go to bank and request for it. It’s will save pages that you’ll add to ur application and it’s more trusted by the ircc as they view it directly on the bank database

Hello everyone, thanks for all the knowledge I gained in this thread. I got my PPR 17th of January after applying on 24th August and I'll post my timeline soon.

I got admission for a one year course for January but my PPR came 17 January so I had to defer my admission to September.

Can I still go to Canada January after the visa returns from stamping?
