Mugiwaraluffy: Well, I guess that's the reason we were asked to reprint again to attach those codes on our applications. That'll sort everything out. I.e two applicants can have the same number, but no too applicants can have the same attached codes. I guess they realised the site was malfunctioning with issuing of number, so they resorted to that option. Right now it's making sense small small Bro, please don't be angry with my question. I didn't reprint when we were asked to. After my initial successful application, I wasn't following the thread as much and I didn't know when the info for reprintng was passed around. Yet my name came out without duplication or any wahala at all. This Army thing get as e be |

ParisAintGerman: 'The Boys' is a humorous take on the superhero genre. It's about how much corruption is worked into absolute power. It's fancy, it's hysterical, it's bloody, it's entertaining.
'Watchmen' is a serious take on superhero genre. It's a grim view of the cynicism/skepticism that stems from global atrocities.. It's unapologetic, no gimmicks, no tricks, no tradition, and ceaselessly bleak. It's a masterpiece.
'Emily in Paris' is an accumulation of cliches, tropes and whatnot. It's bland.
Based on these summaries, your standards are not high, mate. Like I said, your descriptions show that you like Merde...take care brother Enjoy your merde and eat it with bread |

THe series people see as interesting here, I see as boring 3 episodes in and I am already asleep. The boys, was like 4 episodes in and i already started snoring... Maybe my standards are too high But I bingewatched emily in Paris yesterday....I thought i was just gonna preview it but I got hooked and I love the whole Paris, fashion and croissant theme....nice change of pace for a TV series Watchmen is so boring and was like Obasanjo mated with Adedibu and they gave birth to a baby.....very terrible. I couldn't stand it after two episodes But some people like Merde....that's their deal anyway |

ugo4u: Asians especially Indians and Pakistanis were once the military instructors at NDA when our military was still at its infancy stage. Till today they still collaborate with our armed forces in different capacities. That's why there are lots of similarities btw Nigeria and those countries with respect to academic and military trainings. Infact it was a senior Indian army officer on a visit to NDA that adviced the then commandant of NDA to ban cadets from planting their heads especially on coal tar according to him it leads to alot of head injuries and other complications after then planting was banned at the academy atleast openly but seniors were still issuing same punishment secretly, after a while it continued openly. This is exactly my point |

Prospect048: it is part of it, your ability to endure makes you a gallant officer. You can't always be in the class, there is a section that it is purely academic. Did you think with all what these cadets are doing in academy, they are not better than some of the students at conventional universities. Please, clear of your mind, this is nothing by the time you are part of them. During my secondary school days in the barrack when army day was still army day of her glory, I do sleep while serving that particular job. In fact, I like it those days, it makes us stronger. As a military man, you should be able to endure in any condition you find yourself. It is sure for me, you can't be more intellectual than those who designed the curriculum and be more intellectual than the products of that curriculum even if such product studied same course as yours.
Stop all these kind talk, they have reason for every activities there. That's your own opinion.. Just because many see something as right doesn't mean it is actually right A former commandant of the NDA once put a stop to this particular punishment. However, it continued after he left. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by Blueelf: 6:21pm On Sep 12, 2020 |
spetsnaz: Fact. On paper they're not supposed to, but what is on ground is totally different from what's in the books. DSSC officers in Engineering, AME and Signal Corps are usually the "Unlucky" guys that find themselves leading men for operations. It is not uncommon, infact it's the norm in the northeast there many ungoverned spaces and the army is highly understaffed especially in the officer cadre. As far as this job is concerned only female officers will ever know peace that doesn't still exempt them from being posted to the north east but they will never be drafted to the fronts, they are always in a fortified base and even at that when there is any signal concerning an impeding attack female officers will be evacuated or airlifted while the men will stay and fight. This has being the standard ever since bokoharam captured some female soldiers years ago. Whether DSSC or SSC you are a combatant as far as army is concerned they don't even care if you are a Chaplain or Imam. Who no come no go understand. The two bolded statements are the reasons I disagreed with sikowitz in the first place. Thanks for the piece |
