sikowitz17: lol bro all these things na still talk until we reach there... pass out come go NE and witness first ambush! Na that time we go really know wetin Dey sup... all we have na resolve now.. we’ve resolved to do it... but till we reach there... as those soldiers and officers will say... whatever you think you know, you don’t know anything...
I met one air force officer in the bus I boarded to kaduna for course 45 and I only knew his identity when he bought job for some frsc officers who were trying to extort the bus driver on the road at an army checkpoint... I moved closer to him when we got to kogi to ask him how the job is... man looked at me and said “who no come, no go know” and kept eating his food..
That’s the same thing they’ve been saying since all year round...except for the ones closest to us who indulge us by telling us the reality..
The resolve we have is that we can’t sit idle while terrorism rocks the nation... we’d rather serve than join the bandwagon complaining..and for the death part... anybody can die anywhere anytime so why not just do something with meaning
My mom would often tell me about a man that went to inquire about his death... he was told he’d die in a car accident and the man isolated himself... never went out, bought and did everything online until one day he was furious about something his wife did and was raking in the house.. he got so mad that he didn’t see his sons toy car on the floor, he stepped on it and fell backwards hitting his bead and dying instantly..last last na still car accident kill am.
Correct oil dey your head
1st ambush, many guy men would even freeze and not pull trigger...
I am a patriot but I will lie by saying i have fully prepared myself for NE...You don't fully prepare yourself for hell...you experience it firsthand instead
sikowitz17: I saw the video of the short service cadets on their route walk abi na run to Afaka from old site...omo those guys didn’t come to play.. Frsc blocked one part of t he road specifically for them... with frsc escort bikes in front to clear traffic... cadets with MGs and RPGs dey jog with am.. Ginger was mad
BascoVanVeli: Oya lunch is served for our hype police crew. Colin udoh ranked Victor Osimhen as the second best African in Europe. Over Aubameyang and Salah
TheSuperNerd: It is only hype when it is Nwakali. Lol They will believe this one on Maja but do everything possible to prove Nwakali was not involved if the report was about him. Hahaha.. Indeed you know b'cos you know.
TheSuperNerd: Josh Maja featured for Bordeaux in jersey #9 as his side fell to a 4-2 preseason friendly defeat against St. Etienne.
Josh Maja was involved in Bordeaux's first goal as he sent a beautiful ball into the path of Nicolas de preville who was then fouled for a penalty. De Preville went on to convert.
ugo4u: I'm not sure but when course 44 passed out in 2017 according to the HTACOS then it was supposed to be 18months from 2nd Lt to Lt, 3yrs from Lt to Captain, making it almost 5yrs. Don't know what is obtainable now @eclipsehemmy can be of help.
Sir eclipsehemmy , any contributions would be highly appreciated
Me thinks 5 yrs is too long a time for 1st Lt to Capt
sikowitz17: ideally bro it’s supposed to be 5 years on the lieutenant to captain rank..all Rcs were just promoted after 4/5 years that’s 62rc... the new hermonised terms and conditions made it 5 years on all ranks for all commissions in the military...but it came to my understanding of recent, doe I don’t know how true it is that there are some Dssc guys who are currently on their 7th year for captain promotion... we had an argument a while ago about this and the guy messaged me with his proof... I’m still not sure about it but ideally, all commissions will carry a 5 year promotion period
ugo4u: Those units you listed are the exclusive preserve of RC/SSC officers with the exception of Ordinance where you can also find DSSC. To your question all those units are the frontline guys, the Infantry is the queen of the battle field they are mostly the boots on ground, they also operate some motorised(Mechanised Infantry) platforms like MRAPs, APC, IFVs etc HQ is in Jaji, Kaduna. Armour guys HQ is in Bauchi they're are usually the guys leading the charge with their tanks such as the T-72s, Panhards M3 VPMs, VT4 tanks and other motorized platforms etc. The infantry follow them behind. Armour divisions are usually located in border towns, I think it was during IBB's tenure they were "banished" to faraway communities (border town) in his bid to protect his regime from coups. Artillery guys are also frontline guys but they give artillery cover with big guns such as PLZ-52 155mm SP howitzers, quad-barreled Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun system, gun mortars etc to both the armor and Infantry guys, they "soften" ground for both corps. Usually at the rear of both Infantry and armour units, when water pass Garri, the infantry guys will give the artillery guys co-ordinates to launch their big guns. They also can be embedded even in trenches with other units from where they can launch their projectiles in a situation where there is a trench to trench engagements. Their HQ is in Kachia, Kaduna. Now selection is done by the type of course you studied, though you'll be given a form to make your choice but the ultimate decision lies with the army. People that studied Geography, Geology, physics, mathematics similar courses most likely will find themselves in artillery. Majority of officers will be in infantry especially those that studied anyhow course in the university like agriculture, fishery, fashion design, baking, etc I may be wrong though, but this is usually the trend.
Modified: Irrespective of the corps you're in you can still lead operations as long as you're a Combatant officer.
You can all see that SSC/RC is were the real deal lies, as for DSSC it is a boring commission. na to dey starch Khaki upandan
TheSuperNerd: What are you guys even saying? 50M? 60M+? 45??
Hahahahahaha... Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed the fee!!! A little over 80M€ in transfer money and the whole operation costing over 100M€ when you add Osimhen's salary for the five years deal.
ADL just confirmed this to Skysports Italia not so long ago.
I will drop his words soonest.
But know this... Osimhen is officially Africa's most expensive signing of all time!!!
Prospect048: yes ooo, some NCOs are bastard oh, when they in bush with riffle, they can do anything oh... Officers always careful with them oh because they are very bastard I swear.
That's why as a young, fresh officer, I feel that you'll be a prime target for their wickedness.
Na God dey protect us sha...some people just wicked
