TheSuperNerd: Former NPFL and Home based Eagles star, Afeez Aremu played for 60mins as his side, IK Start got hammered 5-0 by Odds BK in the Norwegian Eliteserien.
In Switzerland, Blessing Eleke played the final 10 mins of his side's Luzern's 2-2 home draw against Servette. His side sit in fifth, 16 points behind leaders FC St.Gallen. How you manage to keep track of Nigerians in backwater leagues like this is sooooooo...... |

TheSuperNerd: It's actually according to Uefa themselves.
https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/#/yr/2020
The information just happen to be on Wikipedia but Wiki is not the real source. They generally use secondary sources to vet information from primary sources. Reason I am pointing this out is to say that quoting Wikipedia as a source for some discussions may work against you as it is not really a credible source of information. Information there can be edited by anyone, even me. But yes, it does contain information that can be correct.
In a nutshell, quoting Uefa helps your argument more rather than quoting wikipedia. That's all I wanted to point out. Thank you for pointing this out. Hopefully, he humbles himself to learn from this |

Philosopher1979: The Portuguese league is ranked as the 6th best league in Europe according to wikipedia. Na you no sabi wetin he de talk. It is ranked higher than the dutch and belgian leagues. It is a good league even now. Even now Francisco Trincao is going to barcelona from Braga and a few years ago there was Jao Felix so if a nigerian player is doing well in the Portugues league he deserves commendation. If you are not a good player you will not do well or play regularly in such a league Oga, zaidu SANUSI isn't better than Collins. And wikipedia isn't a good source for European football rankings, go to UEFA site for that. Make una dey hype mediocre players like say him be dani alves. When he score one own goal against Naija, una eyes go clear.. |

Philosopher1979: Abed dont disrespect the portuguese league. A league that produced c ronaldo bruno fernandes luis figo and many good players. It is a good league. What do you mean by backwater league. It lacks miney but the quality is there. Remember maurinho and porto These cases you mentioned are quite few and far between. Zaidu SANUSI isn't better than Jamilu Collins. Both are below average defenders |

zoboizee: Dude is better than Collins by far offensively. He is faster & always pick out his man with decisive crosses. Though i will still pick Collins ahead of him because his primary duty is to defend. Collins trump him in that department. Really and he couldn't even make one cross in a match played in a backwater league like the Portuguese primera liga. Abi na the goal wey him score dey totori you? Na wa oo |

And yes many are biased here, someone was so angry yesterday when i reminded him that pulisic is a better player than our own chuks
Lol, some will say i dont like chuks but same me rated chuks ahead of vinicius akpororo junior Don't mind them Jare. Some will want you to rate chuks ahead of messi and Ronaldo. That's how biases they are..... |

I believe Chukweze is better by the way but my friends don't IMO, this thread isn't the right thread to answer your question. Many here are very biased towards chuks and will support him even if the other player is clearly better. I think you should create a separate thread for it |
