The problem is people getting into marriage when they are not prepared to sacrifice. Marriage is for matured minds and it's not for selfish people. You are not thinking about yourself all the time but the other person more.

But we have too many selfish kids getting married and expecting the marriage to work itself or or waiting for the other person to do the sacrificing.

Even if it is just 2 out of every 20 marriages are doing well, do they have five heads? What are they doing right?
This is the most mature comment here. To think it came from a female while the guys crying blue-murder couldn't contribute anything meaningful.

I actually believe Iwobi is grossly underrated on this thread. That's my own observation. I don't recall anyone likening Iwobi to Okocha or raising him to world class status.

What you don't know is the central importance of Iwobi to the way the current Super Eagles play in the final third. So yes, he is very underrated in here.
I believe he is too overrated.....not much to the dude if you ask me

theres nothing joyful about going to war to be honest! My friends were all hyped until they deployed there! Some of them would never be the way they were again! From ptsd to insanity! You think war is fun, wait until you take a bullet in the head! My very good friend lieutenant Hamzat Buba that was on this thread in 2015 when he joined my officers group, finished training, we popped bottles that day! Still spoke to him in the academy in November after I was dashed high bp! He was telling me to calm down and promise to come again! He was shot twice in the head just a couple of days after! It’s all fun and games until it’s your own 21 gun salute. The only thing that will make me go to war is the sense of duty for the job! It’s not something to anticipate! People that had gbewa more than you don go!
It’s still the best job in the world doe...and that pip, we will hang it
Please Sir, continue to enlighten them. They think its all fun and games... COD and what's not.

No Medal of Honor Ceremony here for Naija soldiers oooo. Even the ones that died bravely, we don't get to hear about them (or have you). So, they shouldn't think they would be honored here like its done in the USA

From a reliable source of mine. Official bids put in for Sadiq Umar are from Lille, Gent, Lyon, Sampdoria, Parma and Sassuolo.

Nothing is agreed yet. Nothing is concluded. But official bids from these sides have been made.
Lille or Lyon for me (if concrete)

Of all the clubs Osimhen could have stepped up to, Napoli is the best to move to.

1. They are an 'almost big' club. This means they are a big club but not World class like Juve, Inter or Milan. So there would not be too much pressure on him to quickly perform.

2. Napoli average the highest possession in Italy with 57.24%. This means they are always guaranteed to be in the front foot. In comparison, Lille averaged 51.7%, while Real Madrid 56.5%

3. Napoli average the third most shots attempts per game in the whole of Europe. Only behind Atalanta and Mancity. This means not only do they keep the ball, they are attack minded.

4. Napoli have the 5th best passing accuracy in the whole of Europe, only behind Juventus, Man City, PSG and Barcelona. This means that Osimhen is guaranteed quality service from teammate.

5. They stick to their system. Sarri, Ancelotti and Gattuso have managed Napoli, yet for they last 3 system, they've stuck to this system.

6. Napoli are renowned for producing proven goalscorers. Hamsik, Maradona, Higuain and Cavani have graced the club. So Osimhen is promised stardom.

That was why I made this statement when I learnt of the move.
Wow....very impressive bro.

Seems like you did your homework

I felt Napoli was too defensive for osimhen and they played Diego simeone style of football..but with all these stats I am seeing, I may be wrong.

But will Osimhen get playing time there??

With the likes of Santa Clara's Zaidu Sanusi coming through and already on Rohr's radar (He and Rohr has spoken) and with Aina in the picture as well, Collins' spot as LB is no longer guaranteed. A return to bundesliga.2 will be of no help for sure unless he can perhaps secure a move to another Bundesliga side or maybe outside Germany.

Exactly....I was hoping Ajax would finally look his way seeing that he is young and has great potential and would fit into their pattern.

And i don't really think Turkey is a good idea. France would be nice...but its his choice at the end of the day sha

Dessers Keen On Genk Move

https://www.completesports.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/IMG_20200615_124443-400x250.jpg

Cyriel Dessers has sets his sights on a move to Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk this summer, reports Completesports.com.

Dessers is expected to leave Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo this summer with Belgian clubs, Genk, Antwerp and Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray among his suitors.

The Nigeria international, who was born in Limburg, Belgium once had stint with Lokeren in the Belgian top flight.

According to soccernews.nl, the 25-year-old is keen on a return to Belgium with Genk his preffered destination.

Genk are already in talks with Heracles, who have demanded €5m for the striker.

Dessers linked up with Heracles from another Eredivisie club FC Utrecht last summer.

The former NAC Breda star scored 18 goals and registered six goals in 29 appearances for Heracles.

He was top scorer in the Eredivisie along with Feyenoord’s Steven Berghius.

Clowns!!

Sit behind their keyboards and jump on the bandwagon to look cool and sound woke. I have screened through social media & comments of many of the so-called celebrities and just shook my head. Not even 1 single post, to request and demand for the right thing.

Since the advent of twitter and social media in the country, we have lost count of the number of hashtags that have been created. Many of the hashtags, have been lost in the dustbin of tweeter & facebook but the problems & challenges, still remain.

You expect a rapist to reason? Or you expect a rapist to see the "say no to rape" hashtag and decide " Okay, I won't rape again"? Has any one ever asked why these rapists are on the prowl and moving unabated? Why are they so emboldened? They know they can easily get away with their crimes, because;
1. The country has very lax & porous security apparatus to even track & identify them
2. The judicial system is not effective.

In saner climes, these societies know that rapists do not reason and so they have created an enabling system to checkmate them. What Nigerians should be asking for are;
1. Reform of the judicial process to expedite cases as well as become more efficient
2. Complete overhaul of the security apparatus even if it means state policing
3. Ask the authorities why we do not have a central repository of DNA & finger prints. Millions of Nigerians have finger prints with the banks, Immigration service, National Identity, but there is little way to tie them to an identity. This is what societies are using to checkmate crime but it's rocket science here.

The crime scene where the girl was murdered, clearly had tons of evidences lying around but because of the above issues, getting a lead on the perpetuators of the crime, is a tall order and hopefully, innocent people are not paraded in the coming weeks as the ones behind the crime.
Bless you brother.

You see this recent online brouhaha about rape? It too shall soon pass and fade away.

Many Nigerians have short term memory. It shall soon be forgotten. Most of these celebs are really heartless and will jump on any sad social occurrence to market their PR.

Wicked people

Stop using your younger brother's age to judge some other people's ages.

There are 14-year olds in SS3. I met 8-year old twins that were in JS2, in 2008, Government school o, no be say na Private. They will graduate at 13 and they had classmates that were 15-17 in the same JS2. If one of those classmates was your brother, you will say these twins are 27-29, because they were classmates with your brother

Stop calculating ages based on your brother's age.
The way some of you are getting worked up over another person's age bugs me.

I just said that I may be wrong. Also, I can use my younger brother's age to guess Ndidi's age if I so wish.

After all, its football and the ages of many players are in doubt.

And if I am right after all, his case is still better than Macauley Chrisanthis et al.

So yes, Ndidi is between 26- 31 self..... Anybody wey no like my opinion, na him problem be that grin grin grin
