karo93: The man was willing to sacrifice himself just so the truth gets out. We owe him our gratitude and need more nigerians like him.
If we had one such senator he will fight for reduced cost of governance even if it costs him his seat and life.
If we had one such EFCC chairman he will prosecute even leaders of the ruling party for corruption even though it costs him his job and career.
We need more people like him not the usual nigerians who say You will loose your life, your family will suffer if you say this or fight for that.
To be fair he can either die on the battle field or die in detention. His options are clear and he has chosen one. Please ignore the foolish guy called slawomir. He us high on weed and never comments sensibly. It is so obvious that the soldier spoke the truth and nothing but that. The Army authorities are probably using the security funds to aid Book haram fighters. |

kikero: That's why you should effect change by the democractic way.
All the complaints you are making...civillans made them during the First Republic. People thought a coup would solve the problems. Not only did it not solve the issues, it led to 4 years of bloodshed, decades of harsh milliatry rule, and it also wrecked the Army itself (many soldiers did not like doing rulership jobs).
Join a party, and work for change within the system. Many of us come here and talk on Niaraland. Actual change, we no fit do
Democracy is hard work. All those prospeous democracies we see....were the results of the toil and sweat of hundreds and thousands of people. Here in Nigeria, we seem to think that democracy is voting and then sitting down. You still don't get me. I'm not wishing for a coup but I sense it.... And yes, I have voted but are we really operating a democracy? Do our votes count? Let's be honest, the Nigerian Govt no dey operate democracy |

odimbannamdi: ...and unfortunately, life isn't ideal Yea my Bro... Hope life's good brother. Been meaning to copy you and ugo4u with sikowitz on something.... I've been observing the war in the NE for sometime now and I have arrived at the following theories: 1. The ISWAP guys are better trained and more battle hardened than our soldiers. The NA has few vets and many have been killed off in the war. Many officers are green horns and don't know their left from right... And the NA don't have mustang officers(those ones who rose from recruit to lieutenant et all)...if they have, they are very few. These mustangs tend to be better at field craft and have more experience.. 2. The morale is low among the rank and file of the NA.. Weapons are non functional and in a latest video released by Bokoharam in an attack on a town in Bornu, NA tanks were torched (probably because of their non functionality). 3. The COAS and other service chiefs may be prominent members of the cabal that is siphoning arms funds or they may know those who are but they are afraid of confronting them. 4 What's the average life expectancy of a newly commissioned officer in Bornu? 1 day, 2 weeks or a few hours... 5 How many soldiers are killed per day? Please kindly weigh in. Cc Ugo4u, sikowitz |

kikero: Better stop wishing for a coup.
It is because you never lived under Army rule that you are wishing for coup. Army rule will make Buhari's civillan rule right now look like a party in Transcorp Hilton. Oga, I don't wish for it. I sense it...it simple English bro. I lived under the military as a preteen and I know a bit of the suffering ....but if the civilians can't bring progress and keep corrupting the Army, a coup is the result...remember the reasons given by Nzeogwu et all... |

I spit on hypocrites in this country. God bless you bro. Look at the comments on this thread...you see most people talking about how db the soldier is and hurling insults on him...this is the average Nigerian youth...all for show and not for true patriotism. You'll see that the protest that was generated by the rape case of Timi's wife won't be generated with this soldier's detention. The hypocrisy reeks. This guy is brave and needs the support of all influential activists. If a soldier will come out and say this, then.it means that there truly is fire on the mountain |

TheSuperNerd: Hahahahahahaha..... Always the twister. Who cried? I guess you saw my tears right?
Listen little Joe, I left b'cos an unwritten principle was broken. I left to show everyone how much we detest such nonsense. It was not about my mother alone. It was about the order of the thread and what we stood for. This thread having the likes of me, Safarigirl, Icon4s, TheGoodJoe, Forgiveness, Tbaba1234, Terzurum5 and others as the major pillars had forged a reputation for being a place of sanity and even when we fought and quarrelled or disagreed amongst ourselves, we never brought in someone's Mother or father. We had that respect for each other.
I just needed to pass a message and I did.
I left b'cos no one called out the nonsense which is not normally tolerated in here until the likes of you and some others came along to pollute the thread.
Check out the thread we had Pre-Joebie, no one's mama was insulted and if any dared towed that line, we called it to order. But when you and your fellow "kidults" walked in... We saw a gradual crumpling down of such mutual respect here. Playing the snake and failing to stand against some sorts of gutter behavior like disrespecting people's parents only reveals you as one who enjoys the gutter nature of it all. Just like the way you keep bringing it up like it's some kind of fun thing to do. You act mature but man... You are a kid. Lol
You are a Child Joebie...why is this so? It is b'cos you had to desperately pick a line in my brief report and try twist it to satisfy a lie you cooked up to tarnish a simple report I made. You even has to post a very short clip of the game's highlights to push your silly points but you got busted by my post of the full video actually backing my report on a calm pass sent to the right wing. Wing!! Wing ooo!!! Not winger!! If you really are versed in football terms, you would know that "a pass to the right wing" is a generic expression for a phase of play taking place in that direction and can be carried on by any number of moves happening through that wing. But ofcos, you don't know so you chose to make a big fool of yourself. Lol
You seek attention and the fastest way to get it is to try see how you can pick holes in what I say. But man, I know your game. And it's not working. People have seen right though you and are now further enlightened by how much of a Kidult you are.
This is my last reply to you. I have given you enough attention, afterall it is attention you sought. Lol... Grow up Joe. You make me laugh. Hahahahahaha Oga, the message wasn't received oooo. People still dey do am here. Many people are quick to insult parents here and they know w themselves....let me boy call names |
