Not to sound as making excuse for the outcome of yesterday's game, but it must be said that the ref officiated the game as if he had a personal beef with Arsenal as a team.
I wish we had won the PK shootout in spite of how unfavorable the officiating was Sha, but it is what it is. |

izzou: These people raided Kwara and caused a lot of havoc there. Towns were left desolate, and nobody said anything.
Next thing is Oyo. And now, it's as if it's a big news.
Once they repeat it like 3 times in Oyo, we would forget about Oyo. Then they move to the next state, and we all will react again.
Tinubu has left all of us defeated mentally. If you see a video of Bandits attacking a place, you watch and scroll. Infact, people will still travel there the next hour, rather than shutting down the place till security and confidence is restored.
Tinubu doesn't care if you die, and that's the truth. There are currently abandoned villages in Kwara and Kogi state due to fear of attack by these terrorists. I see videos of some of them online and I'm sure the intelligence agencies are seeing it too but they don't really care. Their data boys are busy blaming Seyi Makinde for this Oyo incident but you don't see them blaming Kwara and Kogi state governors for the terrorist attacks in their state. To them everything is just politics and nothing else. I can understand if Tinubu the failure of a president can afford to be seeing everything from the prism of Politics, but I can't understand why citizens who can be affected by his is governance will follow suit with ni benefit inherent in it for them. The crazy thing is even the kidnappings are under-reported in the news. I saw a video last week on TikTok posted by a Yoruba radio station on their page. A woman went on the program to narrate how kidnappers invaded their church during a revival program; they killed the guest revivalist, kidnapped the host pastor's wife, kidnapped the woman's son and dozens of other church members. When the woman mentioned the name of her town which is located between Ekiti and Kwara state borders, I swear I've never read about the incident in the news till that moment. The incident never made the news, if not for that woman going on the program to beg for government's intervention and possibly donation(the kidnappers initial demand was 1 billion for everyone kidnapped, then they reduced it to N500m), nobody would even know such incident happened. Now imagine pockets of such incidents happening in villages and towns around those areas which neither made the news nor get mentioned on social media because of how remote those areas are |

izzou: Voting Tinubu is just a waste of time, and a greater risk to your existence.
You have a higher chance of dying now because of insecurity, than in the past.
Nigeria's security challenges is not new. Tinubu came and it became worse. People like Matawalle that had their state run down by Bandits, were given portfolios of Defense Minister of state. This is a man who's documentary is on BBC where he had a roundtable with Bandits and paid ransoms. He made the Jigawa state governor Defense Minister. Someone with zilch experience, other than "I stepped down for him in the primaries"
For Tinubu, Defense is another sector to settle his political friends. And if he can boldly do that in his first term, his 2nd term would be worse.
Nobody should gaslight anybody that the North is after his second tenure. The same north is unlivable today. He isn't protecting them, and now his own region cannot be protected.
Remember, if you die because of insecurity, you will be used as a defense for him, and why security votes are not being used judiciously. None of his fans will blame him. None will call him out. It is either the 200 million Nigerian minus Tinubu that is at fault, or Lord Lugard, or anyone dead. Anybody but Tinubu sha, should be blamed
In summary, try not to die or be kidnapped, abeg We were saying it here that voting for Tinubu was just a continuation of the shege and clueless governance experienced under Buhari. Dem say we dey intimidate and bully people for their political choice; today everyone is seeing how that brainless decision of voting Tinubu has affected every facet of our lives. Under Buhari people were living peacefully in Kwara, Kogi, Oyo and Ekiti states. Today, people get snatched from their home by terrorists and bandits unchallenged in those states. It's unfortunate knowing that we have people have set their mind to still re-elect the man once again despite every his glaring failure at governance. Like I always say: We must learn a lesson! I just hope and pray we and our loved ones will not have our lives cut short as a result of this government's incompetence 🙏

germaphobe: Today Arteta has the opportunity to write his name in the history books as the greatest manager in Arsenal History. The players have the opportunity to be legends, the fans have the opportunity to be on top of the world.
I hope it all works out. Yes o! History beckons on the players and the management team to do the unthinkable and write their names in gold for life. I'm glad Timber is fit and will most likely start the match with Merino also available to get that clutch goal when called upon. I have a feeling Arteta will most likely start Hincapie ahead of Calafiori to give us that solidity at the backline. I hope it all works out 🙏 |

raumdeuter: Jonathan who owns the name and lost the election sef don move on, you are still fighting the Jonathan fight after 12yrs
Wait till Tinubu govt capture the criminals and lets see if he wont prosecute them
You haven't given us anything govt should have done to the 50 kidnapped students
Should the govt do the Moscow movie theater option of gassing terrorists and hostages 40 hostage takers. 132 hostages died, largely due to the effects of the gas
Or the Israel-Hamas option where the govt grudgingly gave in to the demands to release convicted criminals in exchange for hostages
You claimed they didn't respond on time, tell us how soon they should have instead of the 24hrs which it took the IGP to report
While I am asking for your suggested solutions you are stuck on the grievance politics of what was posted a dozen years ago when some of the kidnap victims haven't been born "Wait till Tinubu capture the criminals and let's see if he won't prosecute them "....🤡🤡🤡 Yeah, we've been waiting for the past 14 days for him to capture the criminals and bring the victims home to their families safe and sound. "you are stuck on the grievance politics of what was posted a dozen years ago when some of the kidnap victims haven't been born"..... Is it not a shame that kids who weren't born when Tinubu the failure was running his mouth in the opposition are now kidnap victims under his administration with him not having immediate solution to the problem? 🤮 Does Tinubu, APC government and their supporters not know the meaning of shame? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ |

sebod: Time and things have changed sir! In the days of Jonathan, governors were not receiving security votes. So, the buck stopped on his table then. But now, the governors are receiving heavy pay from the removal of subsidy, so the buck has been passed to them as well. What an irony! Na so! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:00am On May 30 |
raumdeuter: Your own is Jonathan this Jonathan that, what Tinubu said about Jonathan 12yrs ago, when the game has changed
I asked you what would you do if you were, you claimed govt didnt respond on time, I showed you that they responded in 24hrs, How long do yo think they should have responded if 24hrs is not good enough
Do you want to bombard kidnappers who are holding vulnerable children and kill everyone
You havent given any workable suggestion beside Jonathan this Tinubu said this during Jonathan. Even Jonathan has moved on you are still here We are telling u the government has failed the people, worse than Jonathan government did when Ur principal couldn't keep Jonathan's name off his lips. The workable solution is let this failed government redeem it self by bringing the kidnap victims home! Shebi Ur own workable solution was for Jonathan to have prosecuted Buhari's supporters who caused mayhem under Jonathan's government, so the workable solution we are suggesting is for Tinubu's government too to not only rescue kidnapped victims within record time, but prevent future kidnap incidents. The title GCFR is not just a prefix added to Tinubu's name nor a title paid for like "Jagaban", it is a damn title that comes with responsibility!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:47am On May 30 |
izzou: I don't argue situations like these.
Maybe if one's loved one is kidnapped for 2 weeks, they can sit around the dining table and discuss how the IGP came the next day, and how difficult it is to extract the hostages.
14 days after, the Nigerian Government doesn't know the location of the kidnappers who obviously are still in Nigeria. I agree with u, arguing these situation is a waste of time especially with a government apologist. They would never see the failure of governance for what it is. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 10:23pm On May 29 |
izzou: You really have time.
Our people say "When dem carry another person dead body, e dey be like firewood to an outsider" He thinks this whole thing is a game that needs to be won at all cost, or perhaps a political debate instead of a genuine call for accountability. You are right tho, when matters like this don't hit close to home it is always easy to start coming up with excuse upon excuse to defend government and the failure of its agencies |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 10:02pm On May 29 |
raumdeuter: How long did it take the govt to react? And how long do you suggest the govt should have taken to react The children were kidnapped on 15th Friday,
The GP Disu was reported there on 16th the following day
Give a step by step details of what you would have done differently, What are the things you would have set in motion. Once they have hostages they are difficult to eliminate
When American planes got shot down in Iran, the number 1 prayer of Iran is to capture them alive and the number prayer of the US is to ensure they save them before capture
Once they capture people, you either 1. Pay ransom/ Give in to their demands or 2. kill everyone including the hostages. Even Israel one of the best militaries had to give in to the demands of Hamas which included releasing confirmed criminals despite how painful that must have been Excuse, excuse and more excuse! Ask Tinubu what he thought Jonathan should've done differently when he called for Jonathan's resignation over the Chibok girls kidnap saga. Bear in mind that the Chibok girls were not even beheaded at that point. While u are busy giving the American fighter jet that was shut down in Iran, don't forget it ended with the Americans deploying all available resources to bring their man home within a few days. This happened behind enemy lines in an active war Let's also not forget the Americans once rescued their kidnapped citizen right within our borders. We are asking for this government to bring the kidnapped home and not tons of excuses or gifting bags of rice to their families. |
