Yes foreign soldiers walked into unfamiliar territory, carried out a rescue, the hostage wasn't hurt, the rescuers were not hurt, the kidnappers were all killed. Yet they couldnt teach their Israeli allies this method to extract their hostages without casualties
BTW when FG release official reports do you believe them 100%? Yoh drifting into whataboutism and conspiracy theory simply because you want to prove a point. Smh 🤦♂️ |

Last time around it was that we should abandon history, today it's let's not believe official reports, but instead rely on what they acted inside Van Damme film.
This 2027 market go reveal plenty things Very funny stuff. I shouldn't believe the official report released by the government whose military carried out the operation, but I should assume things didn't go as planned simply because he has watched something similar in a movie. Emaprince: They are probably on a mission to capture and islamize the nation. SW has equal number of muslims and christains, and they have Muric that may accept their extreme ideologies, hence they decided to gradually penetrate and gain grounds in the SW. If they succeed in conquering it, their focus will shift to SE and SS..because at this point, their influence and support must have grown larger.
If our govt continue to be more interested in politics and embezzlement, while pampering these monsters..that time will come when you are either a Muslim or you die. I have a feeling that once government acedes to their demand for ₦1 billion and release of other terrorists incarcerated in Agodi prisons, they have helped them set up bigger terrorists attacks in the future. It's certain they would use that funds to purchase more arms & ammunition ; those terrorists that are to be released may likely be some of their top commanders who will help them plan future attacks in the south west. The best bet is for our government to collaborate with the Americans or any other foreign powers that have forces with proven track records of carrying out hostage rescue operations under the toughest conditions. We should swallow our shame and ask for help while those kidnap victims are still alive and bring them back home. Yielding to the demands of the terrorists may just be beginning of further troubles for us as a country. And Tinubu should wrap it up and stop that nonsense of accusing opposition members when he should be dealing decisively with the terrorists responsible for the wicked acts. |

izzou: If you agree, and then eventually capture them, then it makes sense.
The problem with Nigeria is that we pay ransoms with no plan to catch these guys.
That BBC documentary in Zamfara would forever live rent-free in my head. How a Governor went to pay ransom and ended it there. Therein lies the problem. The moment that money is paid the terrorists will cash out and disappear into thin air. The terrorists and their affiliate will move on to another kidnap job and will keep moving across state lines unchallenged. I dey reason say normally if things work the way they ought to work in this country, the moment the kidnap was reported within hours, DSS, The army and maybe the airforce should've set a joint taskforce that will give those guys a chase or at least track them via unmanned drones deep inside the forest. At least DSS would have office in a state like Oyo, coordinating a search and rescue mission within hours after the incident happened would've saved everybody this headache now. Not that after the terrorists have moved for days, then we start setting up a team and deploying forest guards. |

izzou: MorataFC
I understand if you are a member of RCCG, and please don't take my draggings as something mixed with agenda. I apologize if my comments look offensive to you. That's not my intention.
I'm also a Christian. The same way I am dragging Adeboye, is the same way I am dragging my own Vicar too. You cannot claim to be our leader and keep quiet when your sheep is being slaughtered
Yes, you can be mute about the economy and other stuff. I have no issues with that. But when people are killed senselessly, you should speak. You should be the conscience of the government, and not just dropping comment like it's a casual thing.
One of the qualities of a prophet is to rebuke evil. If you say God called you, God must give you that voice to call out evil. Our religious leaders are mute. Nigerians are killed everyday, and nobody calls these things out.
I still insist that if a Christian was president and these killings were happening, Muslim leaders would have dragged him to the last, and yes, that's the right thing to do.
Churches would be burnt and they would move on. Hundreds would be killed and it's just another day. Is that what Jesus Christ would have done?
No vex if I offend your belief. It wasn't my intention in any way Since I've figured he may be RCCG member, I just decided to let him be and not push it further. He spent the whole day trying to change the direction of the discourse. The ask was simple : "Show a post where Adeboye criticized this administration last year"Instead he is showing us: “You can only advise the commander-in-chief. You can’t command him, because if you command the commander-in-chief, then you become the commander of the commander-in-chief. That doesn’t make sense.
“But I’ve tried. And God is my witness. I don’t want to take much of your time.
“What should we do now? I’m talking to you as my children. If I were asked to make suggestions, I would say quietly to our government, move fast. And tell our security chiefs, get rid of these terrorists within 90 days, or resign Why should I bother myself to continue the conversation ? When he actually thinks the above is one and same with Adeboye writing a strong worded petition to Jonathan, threatening to carry out a protest and even going about to collect signature of members who desire to participate in the protest? |

I don't know how true this is, but people on Twitter are speculating these are the demands of the kidnappers..
They are alleging point number actually involved the state assembly amending laws to accomodate the Fulani militia allocation of lands and Sharia law being introduced in the state.
PS: I don't know how true this is, but different accounts on Twitter are claiming they got the info from internal sources.

MorataFC: I have said it before in my earlier post, if calling the government's attention to insecurity, kidnapping, and insurgency is considered criticism under Government A, then the same should also be regarded as criticism under Government B. The standard must be applied consistently. We cannot define the same action as criticism when it concerns one administration and then redefine it as mere advice when it concerns another. If the act is the same, the standard of judgment should be the same. We are waiting for you to share link to Adeboye criticizing Tinubu's administration. All this "Ali is a boy, Simbi is a girl" is not we expect to see. |

izzou: I saw all the defence tweets and posts yesterday defending Adeboye, and I cannot help but laugh.
There's no neutrality in the place of good and evil. Humans are killed per day in Nigeria. A Nigerian is more likely to die today, than in 2022 from terrorism and violence.
If our Religious leaders still need to be asked before they speak, or they would quietly suggest.....Then we have another problem as Christians and religious people in Nigeria He can't even claim neutrality. RCCG actually has a directorate of politics and governance that was created in 2022 I think. When the office was created then the essence of it's creation was to coordinate and mobilize support for RCCG members in politics. So it's not a tall ask for anybody to expect the leader of that congregation to speak in situations like this. |

MorataFC: LMAO
The man has said repeatedly that God did not call him to be a politician but a preacher whose primary assignment is to win souls. Yet, people keep dragging him into political debates and demanding that he act like an opposition politician.
He has also consistently maintained that his duty toward those in government is to pray for them and advise them when necessary. Whether people agree with that approach or not is a different matter entirely.
My reason for engaging in this discussion is simply to correct the false narrative surrounding him. Some people claim that Pastor Adeboye constantly criticized Jonathan's administration and even led protests against him, but we now know that these claims are false.
Many have believed these stories for so long that a musician even released a song based on the narrative that he was vocal and actively opposed Jonathan's government, and postested against him but has remained silent today. Yet, when the facts are examined, there is not a shred of evidence to support those allegations.
At least now, people can see how media narratives and repeated claims can shape public perception, even when the underlying facts are weak or nonexistent. By now, many people on this platform have seen that the popular narrative being circulated is not entirely accurate.
Shikena. Thank you for your service! 🫡👮 I thought u will end this post with link to Adeboye's criticism of this current administration as requested by popular demand 🤷♂️ |

There are things you dont even need to speak out to the public.
Just look at the excuse a whole president is giving as being the reason for insecurity. Is that also the reason he has decided to do nothing about it? Very senseless thing to say at a time the people just want the kidnapped victims to return to their families. He just can't resist that urge to make everything about politics. daveP: We might need to sign a good DM too.
But nothing will please me most for that Attack to click as we've already settled this Defensive mentality side. Yes we beat Bayern o. But of we get attack like theirs
Diaz and Olise fearless and decisive and masters of take ons and switch moves, e go sweet.
What's even funny is how it is obvious our attack is still on hibernating mode. They're not on their best and most lethal level even as we've gone this far. The way that back line is solid and chemistry and all, that kind telepathic understanding between the forwards go sweet. And one of the ways to achieve this is partnership style. Two or three players that understands each other and how their brains work when attacking, just like dem Pires, Henry, Bergkamp Ljungberg that year. Most times these guys barely look up before a pass cos they already know henry or Pires will be just there.
I can't wait to see our attack shadow the defense in reputation next season, especially now that Pep is not here with his crazy run ins momentum.
It's annoying to see Bruno have way better workrate than Eze at this age. I don't think DM is a priority signing for us. RB, LW and CF should really be our top priorities. Then if we have some players leaving we can start talking about DM and maybe AM/CM Sha |
