Dey play. You think what happens in the Middle East does not affect Nigeria, an import dependent economy? The Yemeni Houthis in solidarity with Palestine practically blockaded the red Sea.. an important route for international trade.

What happens in the middle east affects the whole world ; nothing makes Nigeria different.

He should keep shut and undo the domestic hardship himself and his principal imposed on Nigerians....

If Palestine like let them keep sparring with who will decimate them ; na their palava be that.

Shettima is right. The time is ripe for a Palestine statehood. Most Christians believers will never agree with him. I understand their position.
Look at IDF soldiers running for safety in Israel. Peace is priceless

Ripe for statehood kor, unripe pawpaw ni.

They should be cussing their grandfathers who rejected a two state solution that was placed before them on a platter in 1948. They decided to go to war right from then and their warring partner has continued to deal with them till date.

Make Shetimma and his principal face the problem the hardship they have created in Nigeria and leave Palestine to face their warrant in the hands of their life long partner

If you don't bring constituency projects or share gifts your constituents will not vote for you in the election cycle unless you want to rig massively in that case you need state support which you may not get. I once argued the fact that legislators shouldn't be judged based off constituency projects in a discussion with some acquaintances it was as if I was speaking to a choir they didn't want to hear any of it.

If u read through the first few lines of my post, I was implying that constituency projects and constituency allowances should be scrapped because they are just avenue for lawmakers to steal public funds. It's just an avenue for them to get even with their colleagues on the executive arm of government who use executive powers to steal.

They should be doing their primary duty of checking the excesses of the executive and making laws that will move the nation forward

the biggest argument against democracy is a conversation with the average voter

The average voter is actually not the problem . The average voter wants life to be better for himself or herself under whoever gets elected in the long run.

The greatest argument against democracy in Nigeria is corruption by the elected officials .

Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay was a lawmaker in Lagos who got palliatives from government/private sector partnership during COVID-19 to be shared for her constituents . Instead She kept the palliatives and decided to share to those who attended her birthday later that year. Is that the problem of the electorates too?

Guess what ? After she lost her re-election bid, Tinubu recently appointed her as ED of a Federal government parastatal . Smh . šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Later if we hear of any corruption scandal in NSITF during her time there , we will start forming surprised

We the elites place more importance on things that do not matter to the bulk of the electorates. To the electorates its how visible and how relatable you are to them. From what I heard Monday has always been on ground in his locality. I saw one video wey dem say he donated 6m to a sick AAU boy. Being present and helping your community before electioneering is valued than 6 debates on TV where the bulk of voters wont even watch and those watching are looking for faults and wrong grammar

Was he doing that as a private citizen or when he's already a senator?

If not that Nigeria is an upside-down society, is this the job of a senator? Monday was a senator before he contested for the governorship seat. Ideally what would've impacted more on his constituency is for him to sponsor bills that will translate to the betterment of the life of his people.

All those Senators collecting hundreds of millions as salaries & allowances, collecting billions as constituency allowances and sharing paltry sums to their loyalists in the name of constituency project will never take us anywhere. How many people can he even pay their hospital bills if he wants to?

What matters to the bulk of the electorate is what will touch their lives in general and not just a handful of people getting keke NAPEP, hairdryer, grinding machine, etc. in the name of constituency projects. They just use that nonsense to siphon money.

The House of Assembly members should be the ones bursting padded budgets which the executive arm of government submitted to them. That is also what they can do to touch the lives of the common man in order to ensure they have hope in this so-called democracy. Instead, they would rather add more paddings to the already padded budget.

Pep has said arsenal were not at fault for playing defensive after being a player down.

That is the responsibility of Manshitty to break it down.

He also said he called Arteta after the match that it was a good match.

Meanwhile Gabu has said he is waiting for them second leg.

Even Gundogan made similar comments.

ā€œIt was a very emotional game between the players, the fans,ā€ said Gundogan. ā€œObviously, itā€™s a tough opponent and a tough game to play. They made it tough for us and tried everything to get something out of here. We have to give them credit for the way they defended.

It's rival fans that will not rest but continue to shed salty tears. Anyways, it is understandable why they would cry more than the bereaved sha.

The funny thing is this institute will most likely not be aware of any of such project in its budget. It is definitely at the ministry level the padding would've been carried out.

Jover over to you because he's the setpieces coach. He needs to tell the players to watchout for carelessness and exploit it. Simple.

You think pks come naturally these days?? Don't make me laugh please. Naturally is the odd word to use by farrrrr. For starters, we're the ones suffering from the lack mostly. Let's get it back up. I dunno why you're against this seriously. We need it.

Don't get too comfortable because you're enjoying the way we currently play.

Maybe you've not been watching the way other teams exploit it to advantage. I rest my case.

There's a very very thin line between diving and exploiting a player's carelessness to win PK.

I played amateur football, and I've watched professional football long enough to know that players do actually lose goalscoring opportunities while trying to win a penalty in the box. You can have a ref waiving the ball play-on for not enough contact in a PK appeal, You can have a very brilliant defender who withdraws his outstretched leg at the last second, or worse still u can have ur player booked for diving.

Let our players focus on playing football and putting the ball at the back of the net instead of unnecessary distraction of trying to win an unsure penalty. We've seen in recent times how glaring fouls are not decided in our favor in the middle of the park; what makes u think those referees will award fouls to us in the opponent's box?

There is a lot abeg. How will relegation teams be seeing pk against even big teams and we can't even? I didn't say they need to train for it but to EXPLOIT THE HOW. it is part of the game. It is also one aspect of the game used to kill the vibes of the average gunner across seasons. So why can't we use our cunny to our advantage.

We should do what it takes to win abeg. We need alll possible means to our advantage. That's what the game is about. Yes we are sleek with the ball in the opponents box already but stuff like this can help by far to make a difference on days when everyone no get wetin dey sup with goalscoring.

You're talking like this because Raya is saving so the story is different. Lol. You want to wait for days it will be the big difference before you realize we barely get pks?

You want to wait till a UCL semifinal at 99mins before you acknowledge it is a deal breaker?

We need it. We need it. More frequently. We are the team in top 6 with the lowest to start with. We are also the top 6 team with the lowest because of ref overlooked. Naaahh.

You literally said " Jover over to you " in ur post I quoted and now u are saying u didn't ask them to train for it. So why did u call Jover name ? grin

The Jover u called is our Set piece coach whose job is to "train" the players on set piece; It gives an impression that u want our players to train on how to win penalties in matches.

That will amount to putting unnecessary pressure on the team and disrupting their flow of play because they will always have their mind on winning a PK when they are in the box even when they should be aiming at scoring open play goals.

Let our players just focus on being better players by taking their chances when they come. Simple.

Penalty is part of the game and will come naturally when our players are fouled, or opponents handle the ball in the box 18. There's no need to start focusing on how to win penalty; to me that's cowardice. It's more like u are already conceding u may not win the game trying to score open play goals. Going that way will undo some of the good work the team has put in because there's a risk of getting penalized for diving right there.

Lmaooo this means you actually get Amigoss point.
For him Sanwo-Olu didn't do enough to enable you vote him over GRV.
But you still voted him.

So he's wondering why you'd be accusing Theflint1 for following your steps?
After all you weakened LP by voting apc. Same thing Theflint1 did šŸ˜

I think the only reason why they are hounding Theflint is because he kept on preaching the gospel of "vote LP top-to-bottom" even when it was pointed out that aside from riding on the wave of OBIdients movement, GRV was not all that. Just like Olumide had his baggage of issues, GRV had his too and Theflint still insisted on supporting him because he's running on LP.

If Theflint had said he's supporting Asue because izzou supported Sanwoolu, I don't think people would've made much fuss about the motive behind his support for Asue.

Which subsidy is Dangote talking about again oooo,Didn't Tinubu announce subsidy was gone?

Fuel to 2k E.o.y is sure

Dangote is mad and NNPC + Ministry of petroleum + Tinubu (The minister for petroleum) are crazy!

1. Dangote is saying his own PMS is 15% cheaper than NNPC's imported PMS . Oya Very Angry Alhaji tell us how much you sold your PMS to NNPC....... No response.

2. Dangote claims NNPC spends serious money on subsidizing imported PMS and wants FG/NNPC to remove subsidy so we can all buy fuel at a price that will kill the economy that is heavily reliant on PMS so he can recoup his investment in the refinery within the nearest possible payback period.

3. Tinubu still thinks he's carrying out reforms that will make the economy bounce back. Lmao grin. Somebody that says subsidy is gone when it's not is the same person that wants people to believe he's actually carrying out any reforms when people are already suffering hardship from his ill-advised policies.

But to be honest, that's what they expected. Maybe come 2nd half, score us 4 more goals to make it 5-2, then do one kind backhanded "compliment" on our players on how they were good but were "unfortunate" to concede 4 more goals. Dem never serious.

Haaland himself who's mostly cool lost his head that day even went as far as confronting Arteta. You could clearly see that this rivalry is really entering their skin grin grin
