izzou:If u see flood for VI today ehn.....🤦♂️ And the rain no even fall plenty like that o; Yet everywhere full of water. |
🤡🤡🤡 |
raumdeuter:Lolz 😂 It's getting better indeed.
|
Theflint1:I already said it that Tinubu has no issue mixing up with criminals and people with questionable character. From his chief of staff, his ministers, Akpabio the senate president, Ganduje the governor that stuff his babariga with bribes on camera, Chagoury who laundered money for Abacha and so on. How does one surround himself with such individuals and claim he's fixing Nigeria? And some people will get mind to ask " What do you have against Tinubu? Why can't you support him? " 🤡🤡🤡 |
reccy:His own contribution to Tinubu's government is to be arguing against people's lived experiences ; just like Daniel Bwala. Na to dey draw false equivalence and tell u Nigeria is not that bad under Tinubu 🤷♂️ |
[quote author=Emaprince post=140014621]BlueRayDick, you were saying? una don see am. We write full meaning if APC as - ALL PROMISES CANCELLED , e be like say person no know wetin he dey talk |
raumdeuter:Well, u typed with ur own hands that insecurity and kidnapping has increased under Tinubu's administration. That's an admission of failure that is as clear as day. There are facts backing that so no need doing back and forth on it. |
sebod:I'm not even intersted in seeing bodies of the terrorists; we are already used to reading news of our military's success without seeing bodies of the neutralized terrosists. I just pointed out how disjointed the timeline of the release of the victims and demise of the military officer is . It leaves room for speculations and creates confusion in the mind of readers. News of such national importance should be straight and clear, not something they would be doing rejoinders to and people will start assuming maybe they are cooking things up or hiding some facts. |
raumdeuter:Read the post you quoted again, there's no point in me repeating myself when the same question you are posing is already answered therein. |
raumdeuter:The fact that you agree Tinubu is a failure already made my point for me. Removing a failure is never the equivalent of burning the house down, please don't bore me with ur false equivalence in a bid to make a case for someone u already agreed to be a failure. The people should vote any other person that is yet to occupy the seat and make a mess of it like Tinubu is doing with his cronies. |
izzou:Abi now. ![]() Dem dey see signs now dem dey ignore am, no be say when they begin see wonders and we talk dem go come dey para o. |
raumdeuter:So, voting out a failure is tantamount to setting the whole house on fire? You literally making a case for rewarding incompetency; such decision is not a wise one at all. We've seen Tinubu bask in failure for 3 straight years, anybody that gets fooled to re-elect him like they did Buhari who went from bad to worse, such person is actually not wise at all. It is what it is. |
raumdeuter:Saying people should join the frontlines because they have questions about rescue operations that has had many speculations in the past doesn't really make sense sha. There were rumours flying around about Sharia law, release of terrorists in detention in exchange for the victims, etc. Nobody is saying the government should sit us down and be telling us the route they followed enter bush, how they deployed drones, use satellite imaging, etc. What we are saying is the government should give details that inspires confidence; assure the citizens that no compromise was made today that will have severe consequence tomorrow (Like release of terrorist commanders), etc. If u ask me, that's not too much to demand. |
raumdeuter:This is exactly what rubbished the agenda of "we have a real government in power". No more , no Less. This is the failure we talked about. |
raumdeuter:I've already said my piece. The current government has failed in most aspect of governance and it's not in doubt. Any sensible person will look beyond them and make a choice that would send the bunch of failures far away from power. However, if anybody chooses to stick with failure that has been confirmed over and over again, such person or group of persons is/are not wise. It's that simple. That is my personal opinion. |
raumdeuter:Well, the government owes the citizens accountability. One does not need to join rescue operation to know about how the government got them home. We read about different governments how they rescue their citizens from terrorists all the time. We were all here when we read about how the American pilot was rescued behind enemy lines in an active war. No big deal for any member of the public to be interested in what the military/government is doing to keep them safe. |
raumdeuter:Nothing has suggested we gave real government in power. The rate of kidnappings and insecurity in general under this administration trumps any agenda dubbed as "we have a real government in power". A real government in power would curtail the various secuirty challenges happening all over the country. A real government in power would make it impossible for terrorists to be sacking entire communities in the southwest that were once peaceful long before APC took power. There's actually nothing to be celebratory about security under this administration starting from the Buhari regime. If the family of the deceased officer are aware of circumstances under which he fell in battle, then no wahala. I just hope they are not as confused as general members of the public were when we read the news report about the rescue with the timelines not matching. I wish his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. |
raumdeuter:So why is this so hard for them to say in plain terms instead of making it look like it was a made-up story at first glance? They made the whole thing subject to speculations. |
raumdeuter:Goodluck to them with their gullibility then. They should keep rewarding a party that has failed over and over again, we will see where it will lead us. Make nobody sha vex we dey remind them of their fooolish choice. |
iamoyindamola:Anything can happen Sha....but dem supposed explain how the soldier who was among the rescue operation died 6th June while the victims were officially rescued on 10th July. In fact, the guy was buried 10th July ; the same day the victims were officially rescued/released. If they paid ransom after a failed rescue attempt a month earlier they should just say it. Nobody would blame them for doing the needful to bring the Victims home. We all want the victims back home without further loss of lives. |
izzou:Yeah, the most important thing is the safe release/rescue of the victims. At least they didn't end up like those Chibok girls that ended up being remembered by Hashtags and everybody moved on from. I just feel his family and to an extent the members of the public at least deserve to know the real circumstance surrounding his death since the government is claiming it had to with the rescue operations. At least let them get their stories straight and let the timelines match |
There's something I don't understand from the rescue operations of the Oyo kidnap victims and sketchy details provided by the government on it. The military officer that was mentioned as deceased in the course of the rescue operations has his date of demise as 6th June 2026 , while the victims were officially rescued on 10th July 2026. There's like over a month gap between the officer's date of death and the eventual rescue of the victims. https://www.nairaland.com/8708622/lieutenant-felix-ademe-isaac-killed Is it that there was a rescue attempt on 6th of June 2026 which failed resulting to the officer's death before another rescue operation was launched circa 10th July 2026? |
iamoyindamola:Yeah, they suspended it most likely because of the election and will bring it back once they are done with re-election next year. Maybe the outcry that followed the announcement made them quickly back track on it . That was how they increased LASU school fees from N25k to N250k that year under Fashola. People appealed to Fashola and even Tinubu but they insisted no going back for almost 2 years. Some indigent students lost their admission because they couldn't afford the fees , some parents enter gbese just pay year one and year two fees of their kids. When 2015 election was fast approaching and it was imminent that angry Lagosians were ready to vote for any opposition party to punish them, they reversed the school fees back to N25k. It was after Ambode won the 2015 elections they now increased the school fees eventually but not up to the initial N250k people complained about. No be today dem dey play that card for APC ; dem don carry am go national level. |
afrodoc:I also enjoyed how the refs allow free flow of play and reminding us once again that football is a contact sport; not some lawn tennis wey u go dey serve give ur opponent from few meters away. What I detest most is how EPL use VAR and still arrive at a wrong decision. This past season, it was almost every fortnight PGMOL comes out to issue apology for their yeye officiating. I also hope the kind of technology in this world cup official ball will be available in EPL's so it will be easier judging offside and posit at what point a player makes contact with the ball. |
afrodoc2:As in how can anybody with working brain that knows the rule of football argue and defend Embolo? Even agenda supposed get limit. The guy just turn himself to Fatai Rolling Dollar ..... A very well deserved yellow card any day any time especially after making the ref book the Argentine player with his theatrics. Yet some Wasiu fans wey don use head knack ground dey claim the game was rigged and that the ref was biased to have issued Embolo the yellow card. |
iamoyindamola:He will simply tell u that budget padding didn't start under Tinubu's administration. ![]() |
Roland17:I want tí believe that is why they are pushing to sign Bruno Guimares without any talks about disposing Zubimendi. With Saka's fitness issue and Trossard's imminent departure I want to believe we should be signing both RW and LW the way things are going. I've not really heard much about our RB prospects and it bothers me greatly. The pace we are moving in the market appears to be too slow with August almost here, we still don't have an idea of what our possible starting 11 will look like by now. Tho I trust Barta to do some smart and smooth business in the market, I just don't like how we are taking too much time to fill the necessary roles. |
Ellexy:Instead of beating DR Congo, na conspiracy theory their fans dey spin up and down after dem jam àgbákò and crash out of the tournament ![]() |
CrystalTiger:They will tell u Nigeria is broke and that PDP has squandered all the money we made from oil boom during their 16 year rule. So APC's 11 years rule (and counting) is APC trying to "fix" Nigeria. 🤮🤮🤮 A wise man once said: " Buhari was a lesson ; Tinubu is the punishment for not learning a lesson " |
A- All P- Promises C- Cancelled Gullible people will still queue in the sun come 2027 general elections to vote "continuity" 🤡🤡🤡
|
izzou:Without much delay he go carry am go N1,3000 and when the strait open again he go take months to cut down paltry 75 naira on top fuel price |
izzou:Definitely what will happen. I guess the girl's parents already figured this out, that's why they decline autopsy to determine the cause of her death. They probably think of what use will the autopsy be when they will slice her open, the real findings will most likely be manipulated by the police and medical personnel involved who will most likely be answerable to the powers that be |
