It isn't a long back and forth at all. If Newcastle has conceded the same 52 goals that we have conceded but are above us, I just need your opinion on why that is the case.

Newcastle, Spurs and Aston Villa have removed any theoretical element from the discussion because, defensively at least, in terms of goals conceded, they are on our level.

So when you ask me if we keep the same defence that has conceded 52 goals, but sign at least one solid striker, I will point at Newcastle, I will point at Villa, and I will point at Spurs to ask how they have managed to be higher on the log.

The simple answer to me is that they have scored more goals (in Villas case a lot more) than Chelsea , but I might be missing something - so maybe you can advise better on why a better attack with this same defence wouldn't be doing much better on the log.

This is a team thar on average chops 3 goals a match. There was one particular period where they choped 21 goals in 4 games. Back to back to back 5 goals, then Arsenal topped them up with 6

Even if they score 3 against you (for example like they did against Fulham) you should be able to put at least 3 past them again e.g Fulham.

With a team like Sheffield, it does not matter of they score, because they have proven that they can score against any team in the league. What matters is that they cannot defend against anybody, hence, and it bears repeating again, them having the worst defence in EPL history.

Using goals conceded to claim 'both attack and defence' need work is a fallacious cop out. Yesterday I asked you why Newscastle with 52 goals conceded (exactly the same as Chelsea) are not struggling with mid-table obscurity like us, and you did not answer

Aston Villa with 50 goals and Spurs with 49 goals conceded are fighting for UCL places. Sheffield united scored against these guys too. Can you please provide your theory on why these guys with the same 'bad defence' are in 4th and 5th place, not 9th and praying for weapons to form against Brighton?

Let me understand u here; are u saying if season ends and Chelsea decides to sign a striker to replace Jackson and maybe another attacker as back up & then close shop without doing anything to Chelsea's defence do U believe Chelsea will compete well next season with this same set of defenders?

Infact, the only teams in the top 10 of the league this season that Sheffield United's 'blunt attack' has not scored against are Arsenal and Newcastle.

So what's your point? Are relegation teams are not allowed to score in EPL?

The difference is that every single team that has faced Sheffield has destroyed them...except for us.

Conceding against them is irrelevant. They scored against Liverpool at Anfield and were even drawing until the 85th minute, and Liverpool still piped them 3-1. Same with Manyoo. The stupid team was leading Fulham 3-1 and still drew.

Abeg abeg I'm not interested in any conversation that involves defending against Sheffield. Not interested at all.

Army vs Army in conventional warfare, the 1000 US troops is probably enough to do some hefty damage to Nigerien army, maybe even irreparable damage.

This kind of fight is not like hunting insurgents hiding in the Bush. The US troops know where the Nigeriens are going to be. They know their Army base locations. They know their airforce base locations. They know where the presidential Palace is.

The idea that Niger can hold odindin 1000 US soldiers that are already on ground hostage is beyond laughable.

Like you said, US has been sacked from Niger. We can leave it at that, without drawing fantasy narratives from thin air.

West Ham have conceded 6 goals more than Chelsea this season and are higher in the log with -6 goal difference.

Newcastle that has conceded the same 52 goals are in 6th place. Villa and Spurs that have conceded just 3 goals less than Chelsea are fighting for UCL positions.

When you look at the trends, except for a TWO outliers like West Ham and Manyoo, 6 out of the 8 teams above Chelsea have outscored Chelsea this season, with half of then conceding around the same number of goals we've conceded.

Meanwhile, nobody from 10th place down has scored up to us, with a a couple of teams having actually conceded less than Chelsea this season.

Without resorting to absolutist and reductive arguments like attack good, defence bad, it is clear to me that Chelsea’s problems stem not from an inability to lock up shop, but an inability to kill off games..which are slightly overlapping but entirely different concepts.

That's why I focus very heavily on Sheffield in my analysis. A team like Chelsea should be expecting to outscore rhe team with the worst defensive record in EPL history. Even if they score 1, they should be loaded with 2 more in response.

At one point yesterday, Burnley had the same 2-1 scoreline that we held against Sheffield. The difference is, instead of wasting attacks or not even attacking at all (Nicolas Jackson didn't even bother to shoot on or off target that day), Burnley went and pumped them 2 more.

If the 19th placed team in the league can beat Sheffield 9-1(home and away) this season, then how cam we be discussing defending against such a team? That's football anathema.

Thank God we all saw what Jackson did yesterday. Tomorrow now, someone will start spinning a narrative that City defence locked up shop for a 1-0 win, instead of tbe truth that if Jackson wasn't such a disgraceful attacker, we might have won that match 3-1

Kofo Abayomi: A Nigerian Who Changed His Name Just To Marry A Widow In 1930

In Colonial Lagos , Lady Oyinkan Ajasa (Lady Oyinkan Abayomi) was born daughter of Sir Kitoye Ajasa, a Yoruba aristocrat who was the first Nigerian to be knighted by the British, and Lucretia Olayinka Moore, a princess of Egba royal family, in Lagos, was born on March 6, 1897.

She schooled at the Anglican Girls' Seminary in Lagos and graduated in 1909. From there to Young Ladies Academy at Ryford Hall, Gloucestershire. In 1917, she attended the Royal Academy of Music in London. She moved back to Lagos in 1920 and became a music teacher at the Anglican Girls' Seminary.

It was during this time when she met a lawyer named Mr Moronfolu Abayomi ( the love of her life ) whom she married in 1923.

He was aasasinated 2 months later in court, she was devastated and didn't want to marry anyone ever again .

Dr Kofo John wanted to marry her and her response was, "you have to change your name to my late husband's name - Abayomi"
