The way people drive one-way on the road, Lagos danfo driver dey learn o. People dey even follow one-way right in front of road safety officials, I shock.

I experienced a lot of cultural shock in that city. People in PH are just laid back and not really fans of Lagos hustle and bustle.

It was even worse back then. There were fewer Nigerians abroad compared to now and foreigners were less likely to socialize with a Naija person not to talk of allowing a Nigerian to tosibe. Now most countries have formal and informal Naija communities and eyes have opened enough that the average Naija person will be able to make friends if he puts in the effort.
