All schools with close proximity to heavy forests should either be provided with serious security surveillance or totally close down for now. School kidnappings can only succeed in such areas, but it will be very hard to succeed in schools located within the city. |
United States is not paradise. Come to Nigeria, we'll gladly welcome you with multiple visa. Many indian investors are already here making millions of dollars. Come and join them to grow our economy. 🇳🇬💯 |
Disappointing |
Atiku/Obi joint ticket would have been the only weakness of Tinubu. Now he's good to go for another term. The opposition have used their own hands to scuttle their own chances. |

The smokers of colorado themselves know that this drug is very tough and dangerous, but addiction has held them down. They can't just quit |
From what I could gather in this report, a state owned security service in zamfara are allowed to carry sophisticated weapons, but Amotekun in the southwest are still restricted to use ordinary PAC. |
Yemmysworld91:The biggest nightmare I ever experienced on any Nigerian road was on this particular road. Plying this road on a rainy night is like passing through hell. Damn! |
After government, the other people that contribute to the current rots in Nigeria educational system are the parents and the school owners |
Love800:Me alone sef dey buy 500 naira every night. And I always meet people on queue. Many people dey buy 1,000 akara at a go. Her bucket is always full of 1,000 and 500 notes. I know what I'm saying. No capping at all. She has her own grinding machine, two huge gas cookers, and about 3 women supporting her. If she will allow me to snap picture, I will do it tonight and post it. She sells till midnight. |
This is how some people carry another person matter for head, come put their own for ground. |
It depends on the location and the particular goods you sell. For instance, a lady in my junction makes more than this by selling drinks. Pure water alone fetches her more than 3k everyday. She sells not less than 15 bags in a day at a profit of 200 naira per bag. She has soft drinks, bottled water and others too. But as I said earlier, location matters a lot. Same junction, another woman fries akara at night. She stocks her money inside a big bowl and it always filled up every night. She will use hand to press down the money to create space for more money. I envy that woman o. I believe she'll be making sales more than 200k every night. |
Everybody is a suspect to the Americans. |
Mumu is synonymous with MURIC, both in sounds and meaning. |
If they were truly rescued with no ransome paid, let's give a round of applause for naija police. I hope they will use the same energy to rescue Ogbomosho victims asap. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. |
What VDM said there is true to an extent. I remember when I was growing up in the 80s, there were only 2 mosques in the entire city I lived. The old central mosque was just a small building that couldn't accommodate more than 100 people. Later they built the new central mosque which was just a little bigger than the old. Only few people worshipped there because Muslim population was very very low. Fast forward to today, mosques are now scattered everywhere in my city; there are at least 2 mosques in each street. In fact, they are now competing with churches in their numbers. That's not my worry though (I'm not against the spread of Islam), my worry is that those mosques are mostly occupied and used by the northerners, not the indigenous people. |
Iraqi national team striker Aymen Hussein was detained for about seven hours by U.S. border officials at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The detention occurred as the Iraqi squad arrived in the United States for the 2026 World Cup. Hussein was held for approximately seven hours while undergoing routine security screening and background checks. He was eventually cleared to enter the U.S. and rejoined his teammates to prepare for the tournament. According to Kora Plus, several other Iraqi players experienced shorter entry delays of one to two hours, while the team’s photographer was denied entry following a phone inspection. Merdhas Doski, who was held and questioned for approximately two hours. Zidane Iqbal, Youssef Amyn, Ibrahim Bayesh, Fahad Talib, Zaid Tahseen, and Hussein Ali, all of whom were detained for roughly one hour before being cleared. Despite the rolling administrative delays at the airport, the entire group of players has successfully entered the United States. The team is expected to move forward with their scheduled itinerary as football officials breathe a sigh of relief that the operational hiccup was resolved without further incident. The Iraqi Olympic Committee reported no immediate statements from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or the Department of Homeland Security regarding the interrogation. This incident comes as Iraq prepares for their World Cup return after 40 years, set to play against France, Senegal, and Norway. https://www.completesports.com/2026-world-cup-iraqi-striker-detained-for-seven-hours-at-chicago-airport/

Please don't give them weapons. They will use the same weapon to commit another one. |
happney65:Whether you like it or not, nobody will hand over the entire security apparatus to any state governor. Your advice is very worthless and inconsequential. You are on your own. Continue to be delusional |
Yes over 50% were consensually selected without primaries. ![]() |
happney65:You are trying to change the narrative. Stick to your initial argument. You said entire security apparatus of a state should be handed over to governors. Nobody does that; not even in the United States. And I insist you are ignorant. You don't have to agree with me. It is just a fact. You are very very ignorant. Bye |
MrGerald:They claim she is 76 years old. Did you read that part? No matter how well you feed, old age will still catch up with you. |
happney65:And I say you are ignorant. Security has nothing to do with your emotions. You are sounding too emotional. Nowhere in the world the entire security of a state is handed over to governors. It is rather a collaborative efforts involving community, state and federal security agencies. Learn and stop arguing blindly. |
happney65:Your opinion about intelligence gathering tells a lot about your ignorance. FBI, CIA, KGB and many others are intelligence agencies. You don't always have to carry bombs and guns before you fight criminals. Intelligence is very very crucial. It is the bedrock of antiterrorism operations. |
