Politics › Re: State Police Constitutional Framework Near Completion - Bayo Onanuga by Bluna:
Even if their function is restricted to intelligence gathering only (to start with), it will still go a long way. The laws can be amended later to broaden their functions and permit them to use sophisticated weapons. Amotekun in the southwest is already a good benchmark for state policing. Let's take it up from there.

World cup has become an expensive jamboree exclusively for only the rich to see it live. Others can watch it on TV. It is a blessing in disguise that Nigeria didn't qualify. Our politicians would've wasted public funds to attend this jamboree with their family and girlfriends.

sincerely speaking, the coastal road is a misplaced priority. Major priority of most average Nigerians today is stable electricity, not coastal road.

Some people sabi pronounce the car Porsche very well but can’t afford it while some people can afford it but a glitch in its pronunciation.

I stopped disturbing myself on passionately learning how to speak fluently when I started living among them. As bad as I am in speaking the language, I better pass 50% of the native speakers
Many years ago I was in a queue inside bank. A guy wanted to withdraw 800k but he did not know how to spell the amount. He asked me to help him fill the teller. He had already filled other parts except where he will write the amount in words. Another guy beside us was trying to make jest of him, saying "ordinary 800k he can't spell, his handwriting is very funny, how did he make money? blah blah blah.."

I took a peep at his own teller, I saw 5k. I just hissed and look away. I will rather respect someone who knows how to make money than the one who can only spell money.

Crime › Re: Owo Church Attack: Court Sentences 4 Al-shabaab Terrorists To Death By Hanging by Bluna:
I remember this particular gruesome attack happened on the eve of Tinubu's victory at APC presidential primary election in 2022.

anonimi:
APC primaries were held three days after the attack.
APC Special National Convention for the 2023 Presidential Primary was held from June 6 to 8, 2022. Owo attack happened on June 5. Aketi was already in Abuja for the primaries when the attack happened. He had to rush back home.

richiemcgold:
4 years later, 46 pupils and teachers were kidnapped in Ogbomosho on May 15 2026 while Tinubu won another APC primary election on May 23 2026. Tinubu's victory in both primary elections was preceded by terrible attacks in the southwest. I don't want to call this a conspiracy theory though. cool

Politics › Re: Why Do Northerners Dislike Peter Obi So Much? by Bluna: 1:41am On Jun 03
Streetinvestor2:
So as they hate obi as you claimed. They now love the drug baron and will vote for him
You see SW gang they always play this game of SE and North enemies for yrs for thr political gain
When obi joined the alliance with adc.The started rubbish talk as obi wanting to be vp for a northern fulani. When he left for ndc.The said it is southern turn which to them southern means SW.They did everything to get Kwankwaso but failed. Then obi and Kwankwaso decided to join forces. They know how powerful the two have fellowship. The are bringing biafran narrative
We will post how the north has rejected SW president by different groups and prominent northerners starting will el rufai, Kwankwaso,.We can play the game. The worst enemy of SE is this people since the creation of nigeria. It is thr in different events that happened during and after biafran war.
You people have forgotten that a prominent northerner is also a major presidential candidate for 2027 election. North has every right to support their own son (Atiku) ahead of any other candidate from the southwest or southeast. Whether you like it or not, Atiku will command block votes from the core north while Tinubu and Obi will battle to share south. You think southwest is your rival, right? Okay continue to underrate Atiku and the north at your own peril. E go shock all of you.

I've said it many times in the past, the only opposition combo that can mount serious challenge against Tinubu reelection is Atiku/Obi ticket. Since both of them have decided to run separately, I don't see Tinubu losing this election.

On both Facebook and Twitter, those who condemn this festival are mostly Igbos. I don't know why some people will carry another man's problem on their head and leave their own on the floor. Why are they crying more than the bereaved?

HacheNoire:
Where did Atiku import the word “slaves?

When did the Great people of River state notify Atiku about being in captivity?

Atiku needs to desist from cooking up narrations out of thin air!

The Great Nyesom Wike laid the foundation and invested in the structure that propels his political dominance across the state.

Having a solid political foundation and structure does not translate to slavery. All across the world, we have seen politicians build such structure and never a time did the media or opposition call it slavery, and this slavery narration will for the first time in history be coming from Atiku.
Atiku said the people of Rivers State are not slaves. Nobody called anybody slaves. Abi you no sabi read ni? 🤥

How in the world did you do that ?
I will call it a divine intervention. No rehab, no counseling. Even many of my close associates still find it difficult to believe. But I've moved on for real. The way I feel better and healthier these days has also encouraged me never to look back. Na now I know say smoking is truly a silent killer.
