It's good to be good
Politics › My Personal Reasons For Wanting To Vote For Peter Obi Are Not For Physical Gains by BluntCrazeMan(op):
REASONS WHY I WILL VOTE FOR PETER OBI.

1. He will block off all the financial leakages in the country, both the official leakages inside the Government, and the unofficial/illegal leakages every other “elsewhere” in Nigeria.

For those that would say that he cannot implement this, please they should go and verify this one below..

In Anambra, he succeeded in blocking off a lot of leakages, and cut down the cost of governance.
More taxes started going directly into the government purse, rather than into the purses of highly-placed individuals.
The IGR of Anambra increased under Peter-Obi, not just because he widened the tax-net,, but because he blocked-off a lot of the leakages.

2. He will definitely find ways to start making people to stop hoping to become rich while they are Not doing anything --- the spirit of “working”, productiveness, and investment will be cultivated in Nigerians, and the spirit of “showing-off” and huge spendings on irrelevant things and on frivolvolities would just die off. People would now be counted due to what they do, and not how much money they spend.

For those that would say that he cannot implement this particular one, please they should go and verify this one below too..

The workers in Anambra State started becoming productive. All those redundant and unproductive methods of doing “work” became obsolete in the State. He brought in productiveness into the system. He also started using locally-sourced vendors from amongst the people to supply goods and services to the Government,, (and he never towed the line of giving such contracts to the same “cronies” within the Government which he might have brought in into the Government. He didn't even bring in his “cronies” in his Government to start with.)
For the first time in Anambra State, Local Contractors got contracts without paying any sort of kickbacks.

3. He is more interested in developing the people of Nigeria more than he is interested in erecting incessant and unnecessary physical infrastructures, or in spending the money of Nigeria on frivolities. NO.. but he is more interested in developing the people of Nigeria (through things like education, and paying-per-hour policy). Though the physical infrastructures are good, but they are not all necessary for it be the sole purpose of his Government. He can only do the development of physical infrastructures when they are really supposed to serve the priority needs of the people. (That is, physical infrastructures such as power, education, and healthcare facilities.)
(He is not the type of president that would rush to build infrastructure projects in a locality where such projects are not the priority necessity of the people there).

For those that would say that he cannot do this particular one, please they should go and verify this one below too..

The Healthcare and Education systems in Anambra State became the highest ranked in the country for many years back-to-back, unchallenged.

4. Peter Obi is the only accessible Candidate. We hear from him directly. He is close to his social media followers and to the mainstream media too. (We don't want Presidents who are hiding away from people. Presidents who are always reaching to us through aides and assistants and cronies. And presidents whom we would continue to guess what exactly they have inside their minds at all times.)

For those that would say that he cannot do this particular one, please they should go and verify this one below too..

He was doing frequent audience phone-in programs on television and radio. People called to ask questions. And he answered all of them, or noted them..
Even recently, with the way he always made himself available to be questioned and interviewed by the mainstream media.., and his recent interaction with citizens on Zoom, it shows that we can always reach him. We have ways of getting him to answer our direct questions.

Even with the ones that have voters card let them boycott

Let us see how and who it will affect
Any person that has Voter's Card is not supposed to be an IPOB member.

Voter's card (and Nigerian International Passport) are part of what makes you a Nigerian.
But IPOB members see themselves as foreigners living in this space Nigeria.

So, why would they go and get a card that are supposed to be owned only by the citizens,, and not residents.??

So, any person that says he is an IPOB Member, but he has a voter’s card, then the person is telling a very big lie

They don't have voter’s cards.
So, they can gladly boycott the election.
It still makes no big difference.

Rather the case will vindicate, justify and glorify BVAS.

Read the reports very well don't jump into conclusion because you hate APC.

Look, if APC wins this...the truly reality is that there is hope for democracy and for Obi.

It simply means that if APC/ruling party do any wuruwuru with over voting....BVAS will expose them. (PDP/Adeleke did everything including over voting to win Osun)

That's what is about happening in Osun

You get it?
You garrit..

Adeleke would only remain the winner of it was established by the courts that he didn't do over-voting, or that the over-voting he did was NOT bigger than the gap between the two Candidates.

If NOT,, The votes would be recounted, and all those Polling-Units that has over-voting would just be cancelled totally, and their results would not be included any longer.

This BVAS is flawed to my own understanding, if there's over voting throughout polling units across the country during 2023 general election, can INEC cancel the votes from those polling unitshuh?

If APC don't raise this issue during the petition, can't INEC figure out from their server that there was over voting in a poling unit

Then how come people without accreditation vote ? Which lead to over voting in Osun?? That shows there's room around to manipulate the BVAS...

I Think that should be a major concern.
My Exact Thoughts.

If Adeleke did Over-voting,, and it was proven by the courts,, then the votes should be recounted, and all those Polling-Units that has over-voting would just be cancelled totally, and their results would not be included any longer.
..
And yess.
The votes should be be recounted By the Courts.
Since the INEC had first shown gross incompetence in their own counting.

They have no single governor, no senate seat . no house of representative. The dude would be a sitting duck president . You can’t write executive orders for everything you want to do.
The proof that we as youth were serious about change would have been for LP voters to have voted in en masse in ekiti and osun state and made noises or LP wave but no. It didn’t happen . This tells me we are not serious about change. The same people who voted for either PDP or APC at the state level would now switch allegiance at the federal election?
It is not going to be easy.
But it is doable.
And he will do it...

And that's what Peter-Obi would always say

TRIBUNAL ACCEPTS BVAS REPORTS SHOWING OVER-VOTING AGAINST ADELEKE.

Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has admitted in evidence, [b]the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) reports showing the over-voting in favour of Ademola Adeleke during the July 16 governorship election in the state.

The tribunal, led by Justice Tertsea Kume also admitted in evidence Adeleke’s Diploma Certificate from Penn Foster High School, B.Sc Certificate from Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Letter of Attestation dated 22/5/2016 from Ede Muslim High School, NYSC Certificate of Exception and some other documents as exhibits.

Also admitted are, forms EC8As, for Olorunda, Obokun and Ila local governments, forms EC8Bs which are results of the wards and forms EC8Cs - the results of each of the 10 local governments being challenged, forms EC8D which is the summary of the overall result, EC8Es the declaration of the result and form EC9.

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) are challenging the declaration of Adeleke by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as winner of the election in 10 local government areas, just as it is also challenging his qualification to stand for the election.

At the resumed hearing of the petition on Thursday, counsel for Oyetola, Dr. Saka Layoonu (SAN) tendered additional documentary evidence, including the CTC of the much celebrated BVAS reports which indicated that the number of accredited voters is lower than the total number of votes cast in the said councils.

Layoonu, while formally tendering the documents, informed the court that the evidence had been jointly cross-checked by both parties and the secretariat of the tribunal and confirmed to be accurate.

Respondents’ counsels, Jamiu Olabode (INEC), Niyi Owolade (Adeleke) and Nathaniel Oke, SAN (PDP) objected to the admissibility of the documents and indicated that they would canvass arguments in the final written addresses.

The tribunal, in its ruling admitted the documents in evidence, marked them as exhibits and adjourned till November 16.

Earlier, the PDP counsel, Oke raised the alarm before the court alleging that the media reports being circulated were not actually what transpired in court, saying, “My Lords, we are not comfortable with the reports of proceedings by pressmen in this court”.

But the tribunal Chairman, while responding asked for evidence, hard facts to that effect.

The panel further said it was unaware of any inaccurate reportage of its proceedings, saying, “we can’t comment on what we don’t know, unless you come up with hard facts. We are not here for social media commentaries.”

How exactly do you mean??

Buhari is trying to make the Election as much transparent and credible as possible..
And you are busy saying what??

Like,, as if a transparent and credible election is a plot against Tinubu naa?? Unto say, Tinubu cannot win in a transparent and credible election??

The other day, the same Tinubu accused V.P Osinbajo of an offence which the V.P wasn't even aware of, and he was even saying that he had forgiven the V.P.. That is, is he actually forgiving the V.P of what exactly? Forgiving Osinbajo of exercising his democratic rights or what??

He came out the other time again, and was publicly pouring out enormous animosity against Funke Akindele..
Like,,, what did Funke do to him which warranted such enmity from Tinubu against her??

This pattern of Politics is very toxic.
Tinubu is not the only politician in Nigeria.
He should stop feeling entitled.
He should stop seeing everything that is done properly in Nigeria as a plot against him.

Sometimes I wondered why the oppositions are not giving this man (Buhari) the credit/applause he deserved most especially in this spectacular electoral reform.

This renewed hope, motivation & confidence we have about the 2023 general election is credit to the political will of this present administration to improve on the electoral reform.

I know if it were in the era of the PDP we would have concluded or easily forecast the outcome of the result by now.

I think one of the greatest achievement of the Buhari-led administration is the political will to pass & implement the electoral reform act.
So far,, the off-cycle elections are good.
..
But we will do the whole thanking and good-will and gratitude after the general election of 2023.

Prof. Yakubu of INEC used to be a very bad man in my sight before,, but right now,, after some few recent elections, I came to discover that he is not really a bad person deep within him..
He is now my “HERO OF DEMOCRACY”.
