@kairi,Shawbabe and Chloe, thanks for the response . Abeg I am looking at gradys hospital, gwinett and Northside Atlanta. But with the posts I Av seen on d outrageous bills from gwinett, I Av narrowed my search to gradys and Northside Atlanta.

I hear Gradys is "ghetto" o, nurses are extremely rude and don't care for patients at all. They're affordable sha if you're looking to saving. Not trying to discredit them, its just what I've heard from people's experiences.

My dear, the new price took effect since Dec 15th,was shocked when I spoke to the accountant yesterday.. If it's your first visit to the hospital, you ll have to pay the new price. They felt cos of the numerous calls, they were the best in town, so the price increase was an option for them, little do they know that they just lost more prospective patients. Since you are there already, you can visist them and hear what they have to say, the only alternative you have in Montgomery is Baptist east and south, which is $2700 per night and $2000 for baby's fee. Heard there is a cheaper hospital in Birmingham, it's about 2hrs away from Montgomery.

Hi fehinebony, na wa o. These guys are not smiling o. Here I was thinking I finally got a good deal close to atlanta. Please share details of the Birmingham place when you have the info. Thanks....

Pls can someone direct me to the page where a hospital in Montgomery, Alabama was mentioned? kiss

Hi Shawbabe. I don't know the page but I believe its Jackson Hospital. Are you considering using them as against gwinnett? I'm also looking at them if I don't find a more affordable option in atlanta.

There are more hosps in the Atlanta area sha oh! That you can mail and call or visit for inquiries so you can make an informed decision.

Take care babes.that was from jaejae's post on here.
It's safer to mail the hospital and get the latest quotes though!

Thanks @dakotchic @hebrewwoman 2014. So many cheaper options to choose from. My fixation with gwinnett js certainly over!

[quote author=hebrewoman2014 post=29031974]@Shawbabe: please read Olhars post o! To be forewarned is to be forearmed! The financial counsellor in Gwinnett categorically told me the prices had been reviewd upwards and the new prices she was quoting we're making my head reel! And to think I had already got a Gwinnett Dr and was to see him that day. I quickly called and cancelled and went for a cheaper option of hospital!

@hebrewoman2014 This gwinnett bill issue is serious o. Please share details of the cheaper hospital. Seems like I'm definitely dropping Gwinnet as an option!

Bmay how did u make a deposit to the Dr? Which Dr? I'm using one of the ObGyn group of physicians for $1800. And what's ur accommodation plan?

But like Mimibe said, I'm considering Northside. Just that their Drs are $2500.

Dr.Soyoola, he was recommended and a number of people seem to have used him. The deposit is refundable though. I'm going to be staying with family. Also seriously considering Northside now too since this "not too straightforward" Gwinnett bill keeps pppping up.

Pls if u r using gwinnett don't stay more than one day, as their bill is usually not straight forward. Northside is more like it. I used gwinnett n I'm still biting my fingers. Be careful o

I've been hearing this about Gwinnett o and am getting scared. I've already made a deposit with the doctor, what do I do now o. Anyways I won't stay more than a day by God's grace. ..

[quote author=GenoMI post=27304216]Hi @jennys, i'll also be using Dr. Soyoola and Gwinnett, traveling in December, due in january. When are you guys travelling? Though my accommodation option for now is $1,600 including feeding and transport. I wouldn't mind sharing though if there is something much cheaper and I won't be all alone.other options I had looked at are extended stay apartments, you can look up Crossland economy studios in Lawrenceville.

Hi Genomi, am new on here, I sent you a pm though you responded I couldn't find my way around responding as well. Am due in april and intend using Dr. Soyooola at Gwinette, could you possibly send me contact details of the accomodation you got. Thanks a lot!
