The U.S imposed sanctions on India few years ago for purchasing Russian weapons, I think S-400 or so.India was a staunch U.S ally but got aleniated after the sanction and decided to build good relation with Russia.

The US wants to dominate and control the world and they seek to do that thru nato.Countries know this and some of them are taking bold steps backward.E.g S/Arabia and India.

As for Hungary, Viktor Orban is just one example of international unpopular leaders.He is not swayed by the U.S, E.U, NATO and host of other countries that seems to presure them to stop buying Russian oil and to supply Ukraine with weapons.

The U.S wants to control the world and they are already doing it.They want to consolidate it. We will see how it goes.

What has Russia done for other countries compared to the US? With which economy have they done that? In what terms exactly? Humanitarian aids? Direct investments? Military or trade? Your country, Nigeria, is in the top 10 recipient list (a total of $729.22m in 2017). Many global bodies have the US as thier major benefactor. Who has Russia helped? What has Russia done for your country? Does Russia even take up to 500 refugees in a year? Even when some countries face serious natural disasters, how much assistance does Russia give? Even South Korea does more than Russia.

In terms of foreign direct investment (FDI), the US is only second to the Netherlands. In terms of contribution to global research and education, the US, China and Japan take the lead. Why do you think other countries call on the US when they feel overwhelmed. Again, even your country, Nigeria, has repeatedly asked for US intervention in the fight against terrorism.

You talk about wars and military activities/intervention to discredit the US and yet, this is the only aspect where Russia is actually openly competing with the US. Though nothing compared to the US, Russia has military bases in other countries too. Russia has sent troops to countries too including Croatia, Sierra Loan, Sudan, Chad, Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and many other countries (some invited, others uninvited). In fact, they also sent troops to Afghanistan just like the US did and they once took over Kabul and a great portion of the country too.

The US is powerful because many countries and global bodies are tapping from her abundant resources. This gives them a say in what happens around the world. Russia can't attain such height by military might alone. Russia has to actually be seen to really care about other countries if they must be regarded. I can't believe you made me do this apple and orange comparison.

bn365 it seemed to me that merkel is pro-russia, tho i am not familiar with their relation.She blocked the ukraine joining of nato in 2008 and recently stood by it when zelensky criticized her.During her time, they never had tensions with russia like now under scholz.

1. Storing excessive amounts of other peoples currency is not wealth but a risk

2. Exporting oil and any other high demand items in anything other than your own currency is downright stupid, because you are simply handing over your country wealth to another country. They can now print more paper currency at your expense. US and Europe are not resource rich countries, but anytime they need money they just print it, on the strength of the idiots around the world who keep stockpiling and demanding for their currencies.

Can you imagine that US simply gave more than 1000 USD to each family during covid. How, they just print money. You the stupid people demanding their currency ensures it does not loose value.

3. Soverign wealth funds is a misnomer, invest your wealth at home ir in infrastructure of a friendly country.

4. International loans are strings of slavery, live within your means, value your currency properly and you can afford your infrastructure with ease.
