PoliticsWho Or What Is A Woman? - by bn365(op):
Judge ketanji brown jackson, A Supreme Court Justice nominee That CAN'T Define What a Woman Is!!!!

A woman is a female with XX chromosome, virgina, and a womb.
Progressive democrats want to change that.

SEN. BLACKBURN: "Can you provide a definition of the word 'woman'?"

JACKSON: "No, I can't"

BLACKBURN: "You can't?"

JACKSON: "I'm not a biologist"

Can you define ‘planet’? I’m not an astronomer.

Can you define ‘rock’? I’m not a geologist.

Can you define ‘hydrogen’? I’m not a chemist.

Can you define ‘dinosaur’? I’m not a paleontologist.

Can you define ‘gravity’? I’m not a physicist.

PoliticsRe: Is 'black And A Woman' All The Qualifications You Require? by bn365(op): 7:03am On Mar 23, 2022
Judge Janice Rogers Brown would have been the first black supreme court justice.
Joe Biden was against her nomination to the circuit court.
Also opposed by then-Sen. Barack Obama, who said her political views bar her from being an independent jurist.

“Unfortunately, as has been stated repeatedly on this floor, in almost every legal decision that she has made and every political speech that she has given, Justice Brown has shown she is not simply a judge with very strong political views, she is a political activist who happens to be a judge,” Obama said in 2005.

Brown retired from her position on the circuit court in 2017.

Conservatives have since pointed out the hypocrisy of President Biden pledging to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court after working so hard to oppose Brown.

I think you are a "Live and let live" type of person. I stand corrected!
Now, if you think it's my right to be anything i choose to be, then i come up with something that's not based on reality
and decides, it's my right to force you to live in my made-up reality, and teach your kids, etc., you'd quickly change?
PoliticsIs 'black And A Woman' All The Qualifications You Require? by bn365(op): 5:46am On Mar 23, 2022
Should Joe Biden's new Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, and her record in handling defendants convicted of crimes against children get a pass just because she's black and a woman.
Ask the same people who want her to be appointed to the Supreme Court, "What or who is a woman?"
The same people claim that transgender women [men who claim to be women] are women. A man can also become pregnant.
USA Today named Rachel Levine[picture below], who Joe Biden appointed as US assistant secretary for health for the US Department of Health and Human Services, as one of its “women of the year” last week.
I digress!
And the media watchdogs, who should be warning the public, are instead taking up arms on the side of child groomers.
She advocated for the abolition of mandatory minimum sentences for those caught with child pornography. Even before that, she had supported freeing such convicts from the obligation to register as sex offenders once freed from prison.
Jackson's thinking on this topic is that such potentially lifelong punishments are just examples of "stigmatization" and "revenge" against those who harm children.
When one’s skin color and gender mean more than actual qualifications.,, society is on a free fall

PoliticsRussian Court Classifies Meta As An "Extremist Organization" And Bans Facebook by bn365(op):
Russian court classifies Meta as an "extremist organization" and bans Facebook and Instagram from operating in Russia.

Meta is facing a worker stampede as its stock price has fallen from an all-time high of more than $380 in September to $216.49 on Friday. The slide started last fall as a damning series of leaks put massive political pressure on the company and kicked into overdrive as Meta started to feel the multibillion-dollar sting of privacy changes from Apple and Google that are pummeling its advertising business.

So Russians are enjoying their lives now abi

Same Russians running away from their country?

Being used to poverty doesn't mean Russia is better than EU or doing better now
Russians are probably not better off, but even when things seem to be hard for the Russians, they are not paying
high fuel prices and they are the ones who produce fertilizers.
With time, they might recoverhuh
EU on the other hand depends wholly on Russian fertilizers to produce food.
EU chose to cut off Russian oil and fertilizer, which they depend on

If you transpose Russia for Israel, Ukraine for Palestine, then the US for Iran, you'd have a change of tunes.

Israel will never ever allow Iran to send weapons or fund/run a research lab AKA bioweapons lab in Palestine

[quote author=Omobalo67 post=111236735]That might be one way of looking at it, but from the Russian point of view, it's a long game.
They started by encircling Mariupol, a city in Ukraine. They didn't waste ammunition. They just surrounded the city[Russian cauldron is what it is called].
The strategy, which they also used against US-backed rebels in Syria, is like starvation. No food, nothing!
Nothing will go into the city and people will be hungry until they decide to surrender.
Then, they will move to another city.
That was how they captured cities held by rebels in Syria.
The rebels surrendered their arms and the Russian soldiers transported them to another city

These are just the repercussions of Russia's sanctions; Russia has yet to retaliate.
While going after Russia, the presumption of innocence and property rights have been violated.
People discuss "Russian oil," but never "fertilizers." Food prices, on the other hand, will cause people to think deeply.

Oh, you ignorant piglet. Every western outlet talks about Mariupol. Every one. The Ukrainian president talks about it all the time. It’s well known.
It’s a city close to the separatist enclave, where Russia has air superiority (thanks to proximity to AA units in Crimea) and has surrounded it. And yet it’s held for weeks.

So yes, Mariupol will likely fall eventually. But as it stands, Russia still is yet to take any major city. And they’re also going to take significant losses as they advance into street fighting in the city

Is that your ace in the hole? coming out with what everyone knows, and acting like it’s a big secret? angry

The West has shut down every news outlet that would allow you to see things from Russia's point of view so that people like you can get excited about Russia's impending collapse.
You will never hear about Russia's cauldron in the city of Mariupol. It's like a noose.
It was the same tactics Russia used in winning the Syrian war.
People are surrendering and leaving the city. That's how cities fall, one after another. No supplies go in or out
They will take the whole of Ukraine, one city at a time but it won't be televised

The problems Robert Mugabe created for Zimbabwe can't be completely solved in the next 30yrs through his bad policies (sadly he is dead now), unborn generations will suffer for it.
The implications of lack of FDI will be evident with time and the effects are usually devastating.
BTW I trust Putin himself to have sent them away as a form of retaliation if they (FDI) were that insignificant.
DR Congo is one of the richest countries per non, due to the natural resources they've been endowed with.
You won't consider them rich.
Countries that produce the goods consumed in the West are poor and wretched for a reason. The West will make sure of it.
Mugabe tried to come up with a policy that skirts around the control of the West. They punished the country with sanctions.
Lauren Gbagbo tried renegotiating a term that France has with all its former colonies. France takes 60% of all the revenue. Gbagbo was forcefully removed.
A sanction is a tool of control

Stop comparing Nigeria with Russia pls. A country that has over 600 Billion USD in foreign reserve can never be compared with a country that has never saved 100 Billion USD as foreign reserve before. Infact our foreign reserve as at Feb 2022 in 38 Billion USD.

So, Nigeria is not in the League of Russia abeg.

They had implemented a sanction on Russia and as a result stopped the export of Wheat to Russia years back, now she is the world largest exporter of wheat now. Russia will only get better with this as Russian business investors will swoop in to take that investment opportunity.
While going After Russia, The West has sent a wrong signal in seizing Russia's foreign reserve.
What's the point if it can be seized?
People were encouraged to steal and loot from their country because they could be secured in a foreign bank.
If that seizes to be the case, there's little to no incentive to move funds overseas, you find a way to keep your loot local

Indeed, so why was Putin wailing that sanctions to Russia are now acts or war? Why is the South African Rand now more valuable than Russian ruble?

Why are Russians protesting severe hardship worse than the days of USSR? Why are Int'l students decrying the hardships they're going through in Russia now. grin

All the pseudo strength and self sufficient claims by Russia are just "for the gram", a show of resilience to cover up the Russian Gov't failures.
That's one way of looking at it.
