The self claimed spokesmen of the factionalise Ijaw Youth Council were arrested by the Nigeria Police in Bayelsa for monetary reason: Mike Idounkumor and Wisdom Oniekpar Ikuli

Governor Ayodele Fayose has release a speech pertaining the freezing of his account and other persecutions he is facing for criticizing the FG who are using the EFCC to destabilize Ekiti state.

" Few days ago, I got a wind of the activities and collaboration between an Ekiti born SAN who equally claims to be Human rights activist and an Ekiti former senator, who is the special adviser to the Vice president, coordinating the activities to destabilize and discredit my person and destabilize our state, and to the best of my knowledge, the said this activities are coordinated under the watch of the secretary to the federal government and the attorney general of the federation.

It is apparently clear that because of my stance to lead and make Nigerians have value for their votes, I have been very clear in my criticism of the activities of the FG which is not personal because majority will have their way and minority will have their say.
I equally initiated a letter of protest against the loan from China; these I believed are parts of ingredients that will strengthen democracy and deepen it in our country.

As a result of this, it has come to my knowledge of the planned arrest of my chief of staff and other honorable members and individuals and detain them for a long time and charge them for treason. I don't know how our letters amounted to treason and I don't know if it is out of order for us as citizens of this country to have our voice.

Yes they said that they are investigating me, that is part of democracy, I am not against being investigated, I don't even have a right to stop it; regarding the funds or the funding of my elections. I want to state it very clearly that the funding of my elections have no government connections or government donations.

My Election was funded by private sector, fund raising and other well meaning Nigerians. However, because I am a sitting Governor, I enjoy immunity and I want to encourage them to continue with their investigation and keep their gun powder dry until I have finished my tenure.
Nigerians could recall that I was charged to court in 2006 for alleged 1.2 billion poultry scam; today I thank God that the court has cleared me of any wrong doing..."

President Muhammadu Buhari appointed a former Kano State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris as the new acting Inspector General of Police.
Mr. Idris is an Assistant Inspector General of Police who once led the Kano state police command. Idris will replace Solomon Arase, who retires from the police force.

The Police had on Monday stopped Ali Modu Sheriff, the former acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from entering the party’s National Secretariat (Wadata Plaza) in Wuse, Abuja.
Ali Modu Sheriff arrived the secretariat about few minutes past 7 in the morning in company of some former members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of PDP.

He claimed he remains the PDP national chairman and had come to resume office in line with the ruling by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
However, the police barricaded his motorcade and a horde of his supporters from entering the secretariat.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the supporters came under two groups, "Guardians of Democracy Support Ali Modu Sheriff’’ and "Ali Modu Sheriff PDP Chairman.’’

They supporters had dressed in crested vests and carrying placards with various inscriptions with drumming and dancing to welcome Sheriff at the secretariat.
Ali Modu Sheriff told the newsmen outside the secretariat that he was not happy with the action of the police.
He said that he was surprised at the action of the police even when the court had ordered the Inspector-General of Police to provide him with adequate security while resuming office.

"The party belongs to Nigerians and not the Nigeria Police or the people that were handpicked at Port Harcourt by Gov. Nysom Wike and his cohorts as well as the man (Sen. Ahmed Makarfi), who is purported to be acting as the national chairman of the party.
"One thing remains; there was no convention in Port-Harcourt because I cancelled it.
"I don't know why the police say we cannot enter our office when we have a valid court order to that effect.
"We will take this matter beyond the Nigeria Police, the law will take its course in this matter,’’ Sheriff said.
He described the party national caretaker committee led by Makarfi as "illegal.’’
"The caretaker committee is not known to the constitution of the party, while the Board of Trustees (BoT) is only an advisory body to the party.

"So, none of them has the power to be running the affairs of our party. Sen. Ahmed makarif led caretaker has no role here; it is an illegal body in the eyes of the law,’’ Sheriff said.
Members of the former NWC, who came to the secretariat with Sheriff, are Prof. Adewale Oladipo and Alhaji Adeyanju Adewole, former National Secretary and former National Auditor, respectively.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria, EFCC, had recovered a house alleged to have been owned by former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke.
The house is in Asokoro area of Abuja and is worth about 18 million dollars with furnishings worth about 2 million dollars and a bulletproof gymnastic.

The anti-graft agency, EFCC showed the recovered house and property in an interview with Al Jazeerah.

Also displayed in a video coverage were jewelries and money in bags reportedly recovered from other corrupt past government officials.

Speaking during the interview with Aljazeera, the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu said, “We have been able to take on a lot of big shots that were hitherto untouchable in the three arms of the military, political class. We have recorded 164 convictions in just one year.”

Web Developers are serious minded programmers. They develop, create, manufacture, innovate and write codes.
They know how the codes work and how it could be improved. They are not wordpress or blogger kids that call themselves bloggers because developers actually make the plugins, the themes etc that the kid bloggers keep installing.

A web designer just knows the beauty of combining colors and sizes to look appealing on the outside ( Frontend) they are specialist in CSS and may be Javascript. But most times, any developer also knows CSS just that they may not combine the colors well as someone who knows color combination.

Governor Fayose of Ekiti state says enough is enough as He commissions hunters to go after any herdsmen they see.
He said no one can chase Ekiti people out of their community and that Enough is Enough.
Fayose said an Injury to one is an Injury to all Ekiti people and he is willing to support them because he is fully behind them.
He promised to buy a car instantly for them to aid in the patrol and also money to help with logistics.
