So i am yet not clear on how the so called true Muslim is tagged a Boko Haram apologetic. A true Muslim believes in Justice to all human and even Animals. It is unIslamic for any muslim to support wrong doing by any means and by whosoever (muslim or not). Boko Haram killings is unacceptable and every true Muslim condemns it.

And for your information, most Igbos living in the north are the downtrodden......the well to do Igbos of class hardly live permanently in the North, you can only see them in Lagos and Abuja at most.

In my community for instance, if you count 200 most influential men/women and families, you can never see any living in the North, except Abuja.

I'm sure you must have encountered the bad people in the North that's why you have this wrong impression. Every society have bad people among them. Northerners are accommodating and if you want to know then meet any of the Yorubas or Igbos that stayed in North for a good number of years. I wouldn't like to tell you because I'm a northerner you might say I'm being selfish.

Its a very scary region just like going to Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Somali and Gaza Strip in Palestine......that's how dangerous living in Northern Nigeria is. That's a good development.......I don't know why anybody even thought of starting up almajiri. Almajiri has no importance. I'm a Muslim and I studied the Quran perfectly fine without going through almajiri system.

The system used to be a good one. Not until both the parents and the Almajiri teachers became lazy and selfish by not providing them with the necessary things they need such as food and other sanitary materials. In olden days, Almajiris were sent to their Mallams with food stuffs, provisions and pocket money just like boarding school. The only thing Almajiri does was reading and learning Qur'an. They were respected by the society then. I think if the parents should be made to do the needful then Almajiri system would be good again.

He's an adult of 42yrs, mentally institutionalized twice and declared “fit” for the society. Gifted a job but only to quit. Doesn't want to earn a living and only into drugs. Una don try, GOD knows.

Beating of mother is a terrible thing really. But to disown him is not a solution I think. He does that because he has psychiatric problems as a result of taking hard drugs so I think the best way is to find a solution to the psychiatric problem then hopefully he will be in his right senses again. A good rehabilitation Centre will help. I mean a professional rehabilitation centre not the ones that beat people like hell.
