what a pity, this shows the hieght of failure on the part of some parents in modeling their children to become resourceful and as well contribute in the betterment of the society it has also exposed the rot in the society as a result of negligence by parents. because children coming from homes where there parents have done their assignments well will never indulge in assaulting their teachers. personally i would have wished that those students face Juvenile court after which they would be rehabilitated before re-introducing them into the society. |
hmmmm, what is this world turning into. could this really be the reason why this people have sworn to frustrate every effort by the government to make peace. well its just a matter time before those behind it are unmasked. |
a word is enough for the wise. is left for the youths who will allow themselves to be manipulated by selfish politicians in this FCT council elections. it should also be a wake up call to parents and guardians to caution their children and wards on the need to stay out of election malpractices. |
most times i wonder the type of orientation shared among operatives of the NPF. the manner in which they police the society alone is zero on a scale of 100. the problem of the NPF is an endemic one which has become a major cause of concern to both the government and Nigerians at large. the NPF has decayed to the extent that "Nigerians now ask is if any good thing can come out from them". it is no doubt that vast majority of Nigerians have totally lost confidence in them. their poor and unprofessional method of approach in some occasions has continued to fuel some societal ills. i personally feel its high time the president either considers a total overhauling or disbandment of the rotten institution. |
though i support the formation of a new formidable alliance capable of keeping the ruling party on their toes, i don't think the PDP should be blamed for this development. after all politics remains a game of interest. and even the motive behind the merging of the parties in the initial place was to over smart or over shadow the PDP (which is part of the game). but in this case, i think the Merging APC should be blamed for their carelessness and unseriousness which its result is likely to impede on the success of the party, come 2015 elections.(because as far as am concerned, its going to be a setback on their progress). i think this goes a long way to show the magnitude of unserious characters in their camp.and i believe it should be a wake up call to all and sundry in the new arraignment. Mr. Garri: |
i don't just understand the reason why people sympathize with Boko Haram. Mr. president's stance on this issue is totally accepted by vast majority of Nigerians. and it is based on the premise that Niger-delta militancy and Boko Haram are two different issues. while the former was peoples oriented, the later is politically motivated. if we can remember, when militancy was raging in the oil region, Nigerians knew the militant leaders because in the cause of their agitation they were vocal (not on youtube)and there agitation was for resource control which to an extent was justifiable.even, at a time they started dialoguing with the federal government which led to the consideration of amnesty. Pizzanatty: Ds guy is SICK...for sayn dt northern youth took 2 boko haram wen dey felt being cheated and thereby calling 4 amnesty, just like d Niger Deltans Youth... |
atleast he got it right and he may start getting it right. Ich_el: For d 1st tym, GEJ got it wright. Halluujaah sumbodi!!! |
so donating funds to improve facilities and infrastuctures in our universities is a waste of resources. na wa o. KINGwax: Keep on wasting our money, u dung!!!! |
i followed this particular case on AIT one morning where the moderator and the discussants clearly pointed out the high level of inefficiency and incompetency of the NPF in handling this very case. personally i believe that its only the grace of God that will change the Nigerian Police for good. |
quiet unfortunate am in school as such not opportuned to watch it. but all the same, i just pray this movement will bring drastic positive change in the troubled region, especially changes that will meet the aspirations of the ordinary Nigerians in the North. |
personally i see nothing in establishment of toll gates. but where i always have issues with government is proper accounting and utilization of the funds realized from the toll gates. just like it has disadvantages, a very good advantage i so much admire from toll gate is that is some how serves as a check point. i can vividly remember far back when i was growing up in the eastern part of the country. a friends car was snatched at gun point but as God works in mysterious ways, immediately the case was reported at the Police (when Police was Police), all toll gates were immediately put on alert. could u believe that the car was recovered at one of the toll gates. |
very terrible indeed. just imagine how many Nigerians that have had similar or worse experiences than the three we have just seen. Table Leg : |
just imagine the inhuman and unfair treatment meted out to Mobi Okparaku who has represented the country in international competition. jerusalem101: NPF has always presented itself as agent of brutality/torture n corruption so doing wat they knw how 2 do best isn't a news any more 4 me cuz an organisation were corruption n bribery is part n parcel of their daily activities wat else do u expect from them? May be they thot the innocent Man has money on him 4 them 2 steal in d process of rough handly d poor Man#I pity this our beloved country n we# |
@Greateros, i understand your grievance especially in respect to the NSUK incident. i am a Nigerian Student and i must tell u that i also condemned the unprofessional conduct of those soldiers involved in the shooting and i know they will soon pay for their atrocity cos the issue is not a forgone one. i didn't also fail to condemn the Vc who represents the State Government for inviting the soldiers to quell a students protest @ the first instance. mind you, i never said the military and its operatives is in a state of perfection. but their present effort and that of the SSS in combacting terror in the country is commendable. i wish to remind you that presently, we are talking about the few good eggs in the Police not the few bad eggs like any other security arraignment. greateros: Which military?? devil go punish Nigerian army! make them kill all of them for mali! useless cowards wey na only for students and civilians them dey get power! see how they killed 4 innocent protesting students of Nasarawa state university over water! go to all the check points they mount on our roads and see how they are disgracing women and drivers! |
but who has said the country is not safe. how can the situation in the north be used to assess the situation of the country ?. i think what the IGP has done is to save the nation from any possible embarrassment which u and i know may likely be in the plans of the enemies of the state. and sincerely, i see nothing in it. osifred: Na wa oo. It was by julius ceasar not macbeath. Afer you wil be calling GEJ re.tard |
heard his name is hon. Hussain dei dei, a CPC member. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/index.php/news-news/51925-soldiers-find-rifles-bomb-making-items-in-kaduna-politician-s-house skales: Can't they tell us the politician's name? |
@garri, in as much as we need God's intervention to be saved from the NPF, other security agencies like the military and the sss still gives us hope. GARRI (x7): |
@ isreal, i think the issue of the slow process involved in the prosecution of politicians indicted is unavailability of strict laws on terrorism which its bill is presently before the legislators. but this is a good development. at least this shows that the JTF is not falling in its responsibility to curb terrorism in the North. we are making headways. israel007: I would have commented but all I'd say here is let's wait and see how the government would deal with this situation. |
if this materializes,it will bring smiles back to the faces of most Nigerians. how i long for it to become law,it is like an emancipation for the common man. |
wot do u expect from this charlatans ?
|
Israelmossaic: Boko Haram party. What's left to defend again when the Boss has been named by the sect. Was it an accident? It's a shame, they have faked nigeriansThe party and it's stakeholders are gradually exposing themselves.but am just surprised that pst. Bakare is part of this conspiracy against Nigeria. |
this is like a proposal which will definitely be reduced to a reasonable extent. but come to think of it,is it the only content of the budget?. you can do better by reviewing the entire budget. Demdem: i honestly hope and pray that the NASS tear down this whole document and do the needful. Why wont each of the governors propose bogus amounts for their states houses also. The presidency leads, others follows. |
my dear just like you said ,those he can fool.the truth is that nobody would have been hearing his voice had he remained in the corridors of power. its obvious he is disgruntled.he can never come out and say he only earned his due salaries and allowances in the house. okay imagine that he didn't for once criticize the huge amount they were pocketing as house members. he is presently been sponsored by those that have sworn to make the country ungovernable for GEJ. Nora okon: Dino Melaye can fool anybody who wish to be fooled. everything the author has said is not new to Nigerians.if really he is an activist, he should tell Nigerians how he acquired the wealth he is currently enjoying."tax payers money"or did he inherit it? if so from who?. |

ACN should let Nigeria be.we have suffered a lot from them. Always criticizing without solution.am confident with GEJs transformations. #God bless Nigeria ! |
Hahaha.wonder why they are just waken up naw. |
Makzylopez:unfound and malicious rumours. |
Solemn tee: haba, does it mean no replacement for nnaji because GEJ cant add dis to his seemingly overburdened schedule. we need another credible person oooIt's no problem .if fashola during his first tenure was handling the states education ministry for greater efficiency could achieve his aim,GEJ should fire on. |

A prophet does not prophesy in his own land.international communities are commending FG on its efforts so far in fighting terror.I also commend them but they need to put in more effort. |
