Nairaland / General / Re: My Horrible Experience In The Hand Of Inspired Autos. (RESOLVED) by Bobajo(m): 7:20am On Jul 24, 2014
I have said this before and will say it again; I personally will never do a pre-order. As far as i am concerned, i must see what i want physically and pay for it. 'Ojukoro o ki npa ojukoro je'.

Having said this however, the realistic part of my mind also says it will be near impossible to buy a 'used car' without expecting to 'fix' something. That's why it's used.

@ Inspiredman, your Customer Management skills need some brush up. You should apologise. On a worst case scenario, just refund the guy some money... a token gesture? Anything... undecided

Romance / Re: I Cheated On My Boyfriend With A Married Man - Please Advise by Bobajo(m): 4:45pm On May 13, 2013
People of high moral standing all over this thread!!! I am so impressed. But please consider:

1. If my deduction is correct, Poster is at least 26/27

2. She has been dating a boyfriend for 4+ years without lovemaking

3. They stay in different towns

4. She confidently says she has always been of high moral standard, so i assume she probably has had at the most, 2 boyfriends, including the current bf

All the above taken together is a disaster waiting to happen relationship wise. Mature lady with all the hormones raging at intervals, long courtship that has grown stale, distance and over confidence..

Mr Experience comes along knowing all the right buttons to press, and seemingly appearing not to be in a hurry to conquer (married men have the benefit of not been 'desperate' for intimacy like young, unmarried folks). It's almost a given the moment she started talking to the guy for any appreciable length of time that she will fall into this error.

I honestly wont hit her on the head for her error as long as she puts a full stop to the affair immediately. Shit happens. It cant be undone. She should cut Mr Experience off totally, as in totally.

And somebody says she should tell boyfriend/fiancee. Really? To what end? The boy wont feel less bad even if he knows that the breakup is because she messed up. He probably will even feel worse. Secondly, that will be 4+ years wasted for both of them. OP, please keep your mouth shut, make your peace with God, ensure you don't invest any time with any other guy apart from your bf/fiancee and marry your man.

And to all the hardliners crucifying her; good luck in your long and interesting life. I personally have seen too much and experienced too much to know that absolutism of any kind usually just don't work. Humans will always make mistakes. Even Angels did circa Lucifer. 'We fall sometimes, we pick ourselves up, we look at what made us fall and learn not to trip on that same obstruction'. Saying you will never fall.... good luck with that

Politics / Re: Lagos To Demolish Makoko Floating School by Bobajo(m): 6:13pm On May 06, 2013
Something is not adding up here. I know the architect personally. He's world class and has worked all over the world - and i mean all over the world. I was in the know when he started pushing this concept and i know for a fact that he interfaced with the Lagos State Government on the project, and he had LASG go ahead. How did the project now suddenly become illegal.

Something just does not add up.
Business / Re: Access Bank Stealing Money From Customers' Accounts by Bobajo(m): 1:59pm On May 03, 2013
Dear All - I advice we all close our accounts at Access Bank. God knows, i never liked the bank, and it was Interco i opened accounts with. I have closed one account (after they deducted 5,000 as maintenance charge in one month) and converted another one to a regular Current account (after they deducted 5,000 in that account also - this was meant to be an interest yielding account from the old Intercontinental). I have 3 more to close totally.

Very rubbish bank. Utter nonsense.

God bless you 1000 times for this post. They should shoot the people that own the money too for 1)'conduct directly exposing other peoples lives to danger' and 2). 'serial money laundering to perpetrate unnamed atrocities'

600 Million in one flight. Lawdofmercy... Na die we dey for this country... N600 Million - 2012. 1 Billion - 2013.

kokosheen: Seriously SMH for most of the posters on this thread!!! Most are thinking of tribal e-war, how they would have spent the evil loot or how come a pastor is involved but fail to get the real message of the robbery!!!

Nigeria is being ROBBED DRY by some pen robbers! In 2012, N600 million is being moved out on one day of a week and according to the robbers, this has increased to N1 billion raw cash!!! 1 billion naira in 1 day!!! Haaaaaaaaaa

Come on Nigerians, who owns this money? what are they using it for? Where did they get it from? These are the sort of questions we should debating and not frivolous issues that would not add any value.

Properties / Re: Beechwood Estate Another Hidden Treasure That Is Unbelievably Priced by Bobajo(m): 9:49am On Jan 22, 2013
@bolded section.... terrible rate of return. will like to know why capital appreciation is so low? Osapa London sold for 2.5 Million 5 years back. You cant get anything less than N17 Million as at today. And that without all the infrastructure Beechwood has. I really would like to know why the appreciation is 'stagnant'.

lawyer: 1. Firstly this advert is strictly for those who have the money to buy a plot of land up to N5Million plus looking for a plot of land in a very good estate managed by a reputable developer.
2. Those looking for an Estate where they can build comfortably without any Omonile wahala concerning foundation fees, roofing, signing of documents, trespassing or 2 people quarreling over any land and all the attendant problems associated with omoniles
3. Those that have always craved to be in a well planned estate in the Lekki Ajah axis that will have the same infrastructures as the Lekki Schemes but at a far cheaper affordable rate with proper layout outs, plots, blocks and very good documents to back it up
4. An estate with well tarred roads, light, security, borehole, petrol stations, hospitals, school etc and it’s a completely dry land so no extra money for sand filling
5. The price is a one of fee for life which includes the cost of the land, legal fees, Agency fees, transfer of document fees and survey fees.

The name of the Estate is called BEECHWOOD ESTATE Owned and Managed by ARM INVESTMENT MANAGERS ltd a company with a good track record Who are also the owners of the Famed FARAPARK ESTATE at Abijo just after the famous CROWN ESTATE. It has a confirmed registered Certificate of Occupancy registered as 62/62/2004W at the lands registry at Alausa with no encumberance as of the date writing this expose and it has a certified layout of each plot of land measuring 450sqm. Each plot of land goes for N6Million now and 5 years ago it was just N3Million per plot. How many estates in Lagos will have all these and will go for N6Million for every payment? Astonishing!

In fact most of the lands have been sold out and its just a limited few or buying from a 3rd party that remains. This to me is a very fair place price and an absolute steal for an estate with all these facilities. Lekki Scheme 2 which is just 10 minutes away from this place doesn’t have all these facilities in place now and each plot goes for N13Million and most of them are water logged. This is my best bet advise for those looking for an estate with all facilities in tact to purchase considering the cost of providing tarred roads everywhere, functional security, water, light etc far out weighs the selling cost and most importantly NO OMONILE WAHALA! Trust me Omonile wahala would out weigh N6Million on its own.

As usual, I am going to put below the documents they have and pictures so as to assess everything yourself and if your interested you can contact me through the numbers below. Make sure this year you buy properties that have valid documents. Am tired of hearing stories of lands without proper documents and I will do my best to locate more of these hidden treasures with documents so you can build peacefully in Lagos.

Also you can contact

They've bn 'alleging' V/I will sink, ikoyi will go under water, water will carry all of Lekki away since 1960. Last i checked, these places are still very much around and an acre of land in V/I and Ikoyi now is in the range of 1 Billion. Flood ko, water ni.

Reality check 2: where do u think will get rescued and rehabilitated first if there is a serious natural disaster in lets say Ikoyi and Akowonjo? or maybe Victoria Island and iyana ipaja? Wake up bro!!!

Maestronaija: In as much dat i luv 2 buy d land...

Education / Re: UNILAG Postpones Convocation As Jonathan Insists On Name Change by Bobajo(m): 10:51am On Jan 18, 2013
So if the President does something illegal or irregular nobody should challenge him because he is the President. What kind of mind set produces things like what's quoted below? I dey tire for naija pple sometimes sef!!!

Him na person na. Maximum 8 years don reach pass now now. UNILAG as an institution haf tay and will remain long after they wld have forgotten Jona was president. We siddon dey look na

Engineer96: Jonathan, as the president of the country, is the visitor to the university, has the right to change the name of any federal university in Nigeria.
Going to court by MAULAG alumi was a great mistake as they cannot fight the president successfuly in a country like Nigeria, where the president is too powerful.
This court case, as long as it lasts, can paralyse many activities of the school and adulterate others. The appointment of a new chancelor will be for MAULAG and it is the president that will make the appointment.
To the federal ministry of education, it is now known as MAULAG.
This fight against the president cannot take them to any where and so I suggest they withdraw the case and maybe go back to court when Jonathan leaves.

I object to the bolded undecided People stole billions and you are using petty to qualify their larceny. This are grand thefts and Grand thieves grin.

TRUTHTELA: Wow, really? what you thanking the rogue Obasanjo for? Is there any difference between Odili and Jonathan and Obasanjo? Pls wake up. They're two sides of the same coins, in other words, PETTY THIEVES
