You apparently didn't pay attention at all, you answered your own question. His senses are extremely heightened, this in turn gives him 'vision', basically sonar. In fact, Matt actually mentioned he sees the "world on fire", which they actually showed us in the series. So, you only have yourself to blame for not paying attention.

Oh, and his weakness? Matt is not invincible. Sure, he can take one hell of a beating, but make no mistake, he can be killed.
I didn't read the comic and I've watched only season 1. I didn't take notice of where they said he has radar sense or sonar vision.
Perhaps, your right and I didn't pay attention.

You do know Daredevil is a comic book character, right? Talking about realistic. Next thing, you'll tell us that Luke Cage's impenetrable skin is not realistic and that mutants of the X-Men universe are also not realistic. Of course, they're not, Captain Obvious. That's why you're supposed to suspend your disbelief.
I'm not opposed to superpowers or enhanced abilities. But if u want to step up from a comic to a show... pay a keen eye to details that's all.
Super man flies and is super strong yet he has his kryptonite. The fact that he is blind should play a limiting factor. What is the use of this blindness if in essence he sees.
I'd have been happier if he had super enhanced senses( hearing, smell etc) but yet a valid kryptonite. Or better still he can see poorly when he steadys his body or even see have a vivid mind that can detect forms, shape and size.
These shows are basically fiction but that doesn't mean that the producers shouldn't care to give us viewers cogent explanations.

Twd says a virus was released into the world.
wayward pines said humans were hibernated.
spiderman was bitten by a spider.
Even Ben10 found a mysterious alien watch.
I get that he gained superpowers that made him fast and sensitive but how does daredevil know the position of a trash can at least ten storeys below.

hehehe.
I started watching series a long time o. I knew when supernatural, angel, dark angel, oz, oc, smallville, buffy the vampire slayer, x files and other classics started. I was there when most of them ran their course and few continued to the present day.

when you've watched quite a few series like myself, pernicketiness becomes the norm. in other words I'm very picky.
hoc is a solid political drama but alas it's strongest points were also it's weakest. it's too political and have negligible humor. there's little to no comic relief and to top it all, the theme is too narrow. intrigue is also in short supply. looking at all this, there's no way in hell hoc would have broken into my top 20..maybe if hoc had aired in the era of one tree hill I would have had a better appreciative perspective as it would have offered a far less fickle look at human nature. in this present era however, with pure quality stuffs stuffs like hannibal, the leftover, veep, the americans e tal, I'm afraid hoc doesn't stand a chance.

got is criminally overhyped joor. I'm one for strong boring dialogue but got takes it too far. with them it becomes too tedious. almost a punishment to watch. don't even get me started on the poorly choreographed fight scenes..compared to spartacus's, got artistic teams are quite the underachievers. 48 is the perfect spot for it. either that or I swap it for black sails at 51. grin

good list there mehn. make sure u check them all out. masters of horror will surely blow your mind cheesy
i'm a "picker " too when it comes to series. Hoc is obviously too uptight but so is Hannibal to an extent. I guess its different strokes.
I even prefer black sails to Got. its very plain yet captivating. Nothing too elaborate.
I don't want to start talking about such dry fight scenes in Got. Nothing to keep you at the edge of your seat like spartarcus(as u said), 300 movie etc. upon all the money they spend!!
i'll see the shows... when I get time and do a review. I know of American horror story and one gothic show like that but I'd not really heard of masters of horror... i'm looking forward to it.

I want u to know u don't have to care about what any body in the thread say about d series u like or hate.. If u like a series u say Ur mind if u don't like u say Ur mind. Too. Every one of us can not like all films out der.. And I don't even know how most of us her check when talking about a good movie. ..my first and only important thing is the writers mind and the theme of the film.. Some films will have nice idea but no fund to make it epic.. Mr robot is somehow dull (for those who like shooting and military films)...but that doesn't mean its not superb...let me give u instance..

For person watching... STRIKE BACK..24...And other action films or shooting films will find it had to adjust watching Mr robot. .devious maids.. Desperate house wives... They are all nice films so for u to say a movie is not good or bad u must finish it.... Or already finish d season one.... ..

The last man on earth was so boring in the beginning but as u move on u can't stop... .my advice when u see a new film and u like the trailer try to download about 6 episodes once.. .
Yeah man. I get what you mean but that statement was made on a lighter note. This is cyberspace nah..
I've not watched that show cos it doesn't appeal to me. I've heard the argument for and against and I've seen its not my type.
Whenever I get excess mb I'll see what the priyanka chopra ish is all about.
i'm more of action (not senseless shooting),twisted drama, a bit of comedy and something advanced n mature.

good choice. start with the leftovers. penny dreadful is not your typical vampire themed tv series. it's different. it's very twisted and creepy...give it a try, you may end up loving it. better call saul is perfect in it's no 3 position. it's got broader plot than it's predecessor and very compelling. maybe I should have switched poi with veep(it crossed my mind) all the same both are pretty decent. thankscheesy
Alright. I'll quietly check penny dreadful. I'd seen d first episode and all the Frankenstein n vampire stuff wasn't really my thing. i'll try it again.
It seems you rate Wentworth very highly. oitnb was becoming a bit too girly and dull for me. if its dark and hardcore then I'll love it all the way.
poi is in top three for me. since homeland and blacklist, I've been looking for something similar.

1. The leftovers: the general atmosphere of this series is downright depressing. the intricate plot throws more question than answers. brilliant writing, excellent acting and directing coupled with some of the best music scores in television makes this series an addictive mind numbling psycho-thriller

2. penny dreadful: this series got everything. it's got vampires, witches, werewolves, gouls, demons, frankenstein monster..Jekyll & Hyde etal. it's horror but somehow feels different from all the others...it's got style. a masterpiece.

3.Better call saul: prequel to Breaking bad....not quite as gritty, but has potential.

4.Wentworth: female prison can be a very dangerous place, such that even the prison guards are not safe. this dark female prison drama continues to outperform oitnb in ratings every year.

5.Veep: selina myers is the shi. this political satire got style in droves. the best political satire to ever come out of america since "the Newsroom" & "westwing".

6. peaky blinders: irish Gangsters erking out life in the united kingdom after the first word war. it's a profound slow burner but very dark.

7. person of interest: started like a procedural then matured into a full brown thriller. well worth your time.

8. last ship: season 1 is pretty good, season 2 is better.

9. castle: Meh. don't like it...boring. I don't really feel the chemistry between the 2 titular characters. just replace castle with "Mentalist" abeg. Patrick jane & agent lisbon have more chemistry in a single season than castle and that cop(forgotten her name) in all of castle season combine.

10. rake: hmmm...haven't seen it yet. australian right?
Number 1 appeals to me, its now first on my list.
i'm not too sure i'll like penny dreadful. i'm not really into 'witches n vampires' à la salem, sleepy hollow etc.
I expected better call saul to be higher (number one). i'm a breaking bad fan. The same with person of interest too. Veep and Wentworth seem worth a try.
Thanks big time for your rating. Veeery insightful.

Family / Re: "Why I Am Not Worried About My Wife Cheating On Me" by Bobbybube(m): 12:20am On Jun 20, 2016
Tallesty1:
A married woman was caught in the act here on Friday. It happened right in her husbands house so neighbours were there to witness what happened. I was there too to witness the taboo cause her husband was just shouting that whoever was around should come and witness a taboo.

Sha, that is not why I am writing this post.

What actually necessitated this post was a convo I had with a man on my way back.

Man: It is stuffs like this that makes me appreciate where I come from.

Me: Huh

Man: I appreciate my village the more anytime I hear or witness something like this because married women don't cheat on their husband in my place.

Me: How is that possible?

Man: They Know what would happen to them if they dare cheat on their husband.

Me: What will happen to them.

Man: If a married woman sleeps with another man, or collects money from another man, or spends her husband's money on another man without telling her husband, she will run mad.

Me: And if a man sleeps with another woman?

Man: Nothing, except the woman has a husband.

What he's saying in essence is that a married woman who sleeps with a man that is not her husband or collects money from a man who is not her relation or spends money on another man without informing her husband will lose her sanity. The madness is curable but she must confess her sins to regain her sanity.

So Nairalanders, what do you think of this people's tradition?

BTW, the man is from one village at obollo.
Actually that's my village.
My dad told me this a long time ago. it's true and it works.

@Bobbybube I was hoping no one would notice it. The pressure to end the story was getting too much as it was dividing my fan base so I had to rush the end a bit even though I initially planned on elaborating more on how deeply in love Maxwell and Funmi were in love but decided to just cut it short using just a few chapters to do that to the best of my ability. Anyway thanks for your input and I would try to make sure the edited book would surely hint more on their feelings for each other.

As for the critics, I'm not one to complain over criticism because ask for it always as it makes me better, however, I always remind myself its the internet and people with different opinions are all over here so I read all the criticisms and pick the constructive ones while I ignore the others. Granted, this piece took a long time to complete but the way some of you guys put it was quite offensive like I'm being paid here or I owe anyone here so thank you mzchistar for standing up for me once again. Nevertheless, do keep the criticisms coming but try to be constructive.

The secondary moral of this story is simple, no matter how we try, like really try, some stories don't just have a happy end, that's just life. I'll let you decide what the primary moral is.

My vote of thanks would come after chapter 40.

Your story certainly tops my list of nl literature, and now you explained the pressure on you, i'm more understanding .
Readers should know your an amateur writer not been paid and have personal responsibilities. I stand for more encouragement and constructive criticism.
As for the ending I agree with it 100%. No great work ends " happily ever after " apart from flimsy romance novels. Ask okonkwo in things fall apart.

Anyhow, i'm following bumper to bumper. lets see what other masterpiece awaits us.

I've been one of the ghost readers too dragged out of the shadows.
Generally, it was an excellent work. Trying to connect different characters into one big plot was the bomb!

However, I suggest you give more depth to plots. For example funmi fell in love with maxwell but actually it was hurried. love takes a longer time.

Kudos tho. A magnum opus!

larion:

Bless you! The 3 months contract is just for d unskilled workers, the agric economist, agric engr and scientists can have their full time jobs with 2 bedroom flat and even pension plan.

But for the unskilled or semi skilled, hostel style living with short term contract, why?

Remember the immediate goal is to employ all d unemployed pending wen d economy can be stable, from this, you shouldn't expect an architect or a computer scientist to take potato planting or cow milking serious.

He or she will do it just to pass the time or meet an immediate financial need, this will cause a lot of resignation which will be widespread and unprepared for thereby disrupting the follow of business as soon as they find other jobs.

But when you make it 3 months renewable , many will wait to see off their contracts before leaving and someone else can fit in seamlessly because the period of his exit is also the entry period for new contracts and old renewal. Also by the beginning of the next three months, he might not be handling the same task he handled before, so another person can easily take his place....remember its unskilled la
bour.

Also making it 3 months renewable for the unskilled will make more people come in, a lawyer for example who is waiting to be called to bar will not want to go and tie himself up in the farm and might likely reject the offer, but when he knows its just 3months, he can easily calculate wen his call to bar will be and breeze into Kebbi from calabar to make quick bucks at the farm.

This way, even student on break and workers on leave can quickly jump in to make quick bucks. The idea is you know the unskilled workers will be quick to leave so you don't make them the life wire of the business, anyone who is serious can upgrade his skills and take a permanent job.....easy

Thumbs up bro!
To add to your statement Nigeria is among the biggest countries in west Africa with vast expanse of arable land. I see no reason why we should not only be feeding ourselves comfortably but west Africa to an extent. Lots of these countries are poor and hungry and will be very happy to buy at affordable prices.
A well run farm of international standards will not only employ unskilled labour but other numerous professionals- geographers, civil and mechanical engineers, health workers, agriculturists, cleaners drivers, cooks etc. indirectly, markets and small businesses will spring up.
Indeed most complex situations have the simplest answers.

I have it on good authority that adolf Hitler did something similar when he came into power to stop the recession. The difference was that every single person was put to work and d money was regulated.

Besides, I wonder why government can't print money and use it to import special goods and services(weapons, jets etc). it won't cause inflation because the money is not being spent in Nigeria yet those goods are basically free.
