Health / Re: How Can A Female Get Rid Of Her Muscular Arms? by Bobbybube(m): 10:19am On Aug 09, 2017
stellytwinkle:
Hi nairalanders! I need tons of your advice here. I am 26 - a female, but i have a man muscular arms. (Note: This is not hereditary). These muscular arms have made me loose confidence in putting on sleeveless without people staring and jeering at my arms as if i were some sort of strange creature.
I feel so insecure (moving around with manly arms) and i need help in getting back my sleek female arms. Thanks.
If it is not hereditary then it is caused by something probably by actions or hormones.
First of all you need to stop all forms of strenuous and load bearing activities on your arms.
Eat good food including milk, malt, eggs etc. reduce carbs.
Finally, go to a good gym trainer of fitness expert. There may be exercises that may even the hand or reduce the arms. Sort of like squats for the legs.

And what's wrong with that statement ??

You elect me president I budget all Nigeria budget to build only mbaise I have not committed any offense .....if you don't like it tell you reps to impeach me or wait for election

You didn't vote him so y should you expect something that's democracy that's what democracy is all about

You trying to play the moral card but who gives a f.ck

The president didn't stop states and local governments in those place he got low votes he even assisted them ....if he dose this then that's marginalization
When we talk about Nigeria's problem I think you should be included in the list just below the president.
The fact that the president can decide to favour some people at the expense of other people doesn't make it right. However, For the president to go ahead to make such statements on national television with such impudence spells doom for the "5 percenters". If that is not marginalization I wonder what is?
I will inform you that marginalization can be defined as "To relegate (something, especially a topic or a group of people,) to the margins or to a lower limit, socially exclude"

Lol this guy won't even stand me for 30 mins in a logical Debate.

He has no facts just idealism and is self opinionated and lacks clear plan

Someone who can't clearly state how igbos are marginalized , or his plans for Biafra or what Biafra will offer differently this guys has not said shit

He only works on the brain of hate filled individuals
Is it that you are not aware that the elected president of this country made a comment about 97 to 5 percent??
Politics / Re: "You Can't Stop Nnamdi Kanu From Holding A Rally In Lagos" - FFK by Bobbybube(m): 7:07pm On Aug 01, 2017
bakynes:
FFK should keep deceiving himself,Kanu is only playing eye service with him. Majority of Igbo people hate Yoruba people. They even teach their Children to hate Yoruba, but I can't remember a Yoruba person teaching his kids to hate an Igbo person, we are indifferent abt the Igbos we neither love nor hate them. Kanu did say those bad things about Yoruba pastors, leaders and people in general. He has no respect for any Yoruba leader except the ones trying to famz with him like FFK and Fayose.

There is no doubt it looks like a good cause but it has a political undertone underneath so I choose to believe it is not a genuine cause for liberation of the oppressed.
How did you come to the conclusion that majority of Igbo's hate Yoruba's. Where did you get your facts and figures from? How many Igbo's have you met and of what percentage are they in the total number. of igbos?
Finally, how on earth did you discover that Igbo's teach their children to hate Yoruba's.

Religion / Re: What My Marriage To An Anglican Caused My Catholic Parents. by Bobbybube(m): 6:43pm On Jul 08, 2017
ikechizoba:
I came from a staunch Catholic family, my dad is a knight, he has held many positions in various catholic association, right now he is down with partial stroke for the past nine years now.

In 2014, I got married to my Anglican husband with the full support from my parents, but my daddy's only sister, who lives in the village, was strongly against it,she fought our kinsmen when they secretly anchored our first for the fear of being reported to the church, threatening to report to the parish priest, saying that Catholics are not allowed to marry non Catholics in our village, she went ahead and reported l and my parents to the church.

Due to my dads condition, they couldn't go, so i went alone but was shocked at what the priest told me, he made me choose between the two churches, making it clear that if i wed in Anglican, that I have chosen darkness over light.

To cut the long story short, I successfully got married but my aunt made her own family and our kindred not to attend my traditional marriage, it was rather attended by the non Catholics, and also the church made my parents not to attend my white wedding, that if they attend, that they will not bury them when they die. But now, even without attending my white wedding, the church still insists that they will not bury my parents if they die since they allowed me to marry an Anglican, except if they openly apologize to the whole church.

My question is apologize for what? Please am not trying to paint catholic black, I was a devoted catholic even till now, but this?? pls NL, I need the address to the head of catholic church in Nigeria,I need answer to this please question
My sister there is no need complaining because the world has always been unfair. What you need to do is to take action.
Instead of looking for the head of the Catholic Church in nigeria, go physically to the head of your church in your geo-political zone or state. Table your complaints and ask him to remedy the situation.
If it doesn't work your parents could convert to Anglicans or could make arrangements to be buried by them.
Dont make the mistake of a public apology. Your parents were absent for your wedding yet they still went back on their word. If you acquiesce they will continue to opress you by using to make an example for potential defaulters.

What a foolish move! I've never heard anything more useless than this in this administration.
Sometime ago, FG gave out billions of dollars as bailout. Up to 2 or 3 times. Most of this money was squandered, salaries are still owed, recession is still waxing and yet they want to borrow more to give them.
Instead of investing on capital projects, projects that will generate revenue... agriculture, soft loans, SME's etc they are spending money on dead ends. How can you rob Peter to pay Paul?? You borrow for us to provide for us then leave the debts for us.

Who also sees the technical ineptitude of this government. 350$ for "development plan", 50$ for "drinking water and sanitation"? How can you use that much money for something so frivolous. Imagine a governor can't pay his salaries. He gets 90$ and all he does with that money is water and sanitation. Why not invest it in an international market or airport or university and then generate revenue from there to provide "water and sanitation ".
USELESS AND WASTED GOVERNMENT!!!

She should suffer to the point of worthlessness so that if she ever survives, she would immediately become a nun for life.

No amount of pain is too much for what she put Mrs enitan through.

Religion / Re: From Pastor To Atheist: Why I Will Never Be A Christian Again by Bobbybube(m): 1:53am On Nov 22, 2016
Hardmirror, you seem to be learned and well versed but there are inconsistencies in your story.
Back then, you experienced miracles and with your gift correctly stated things you were unaware of. Was this all a scam or trick at that time? Was it simply luck? Were all your fellow pastors(you inclusive) victims of mind games?? If yes how can scientifically untreatable ailments and diseases disappear in the presence of God? How could you reveal things about people you never knew? Who is this "Holy spirit" that led and directed you to perform this. Or do you deny this??
But all that is by-the-way. You can be a " pastor", go to church, perform miracles, and even lead people to God yet you might never know your God. God is an entity, a presence, and once you feel him there can be no doubt. it is pointless trying to prove God's existence as that defeats the aim of faith. We must trust him, completely, even in the midst of total factlessness.
It seems to me that you were a pastor of your "own understanding". You just seemed to take Christianity up and "carry it on your head" eg the excessive fasting and prayers (probably because of your awe of your Christian mentor, or a sense of duty and purpose, or 1000 other reasons) however it doesn't change the fact that you Never encountered God. You cannot fellowship and bask in his presence talk and hear from him yet deny him. Look up the story in the Bible of those who performed 'miracles' in the name of Jesus yet knew him not and those who will do so.
Lastly, God might be wicked to your own understanding, but he is still God, His " wickedness" and your "questions " will not stop him from being God, and true Christianity is trusting God in everything even in perceived "wickedness" and believing in his reasons for any and everything.

Samsung Galaxy Note 1

I am not a fan of any brand at all, I started my smartphone life with Nokia Navigator then I switched to LG then Samsung then HP ( Data messenger ) then HTC pro 2, this HTC changed my experience about mobile OS. The phone came with Winmo 6, I played around it and got Android running on it, back in 2009, then I moved to HTC Imago, I was unable to port Android on it so I moved to Xperia X10i ( I loved this phone no be small ) then I moved to HTC HD2 (Long live HD2) this phone gave me the experience I loved the most about smartphone. I used this phone for a long time. The phone came with Winmo 6.5 I removed the Winmo, I ported Android Gingerbread, then I ported Jellybean on it ( Android nougat on HD2 *XDA rumour ), before the phone spoil due to serious fall and poor phone repairer.
No so I come say make I check out Samsung, then I went for the popular Galaxy Note 1, this phone camera good ehn! the pen nar wonder but the phone no last reach 6 month before e give up.
I just restart phone nar so e enter boot loop, I come say make I change the rom nar so the thing brick ( Am very patience, careful reader and I follow instructions strictly) am very good at tweaking OS from Winmo to Android to iOS. I checked internet and got to know that many people had the same problem. Samsung just produce phone for people to use for a while and the get another.
I switched back to HTC and since then I've being enjoying my life.
My HTC ONE M8 is the best phone ever (My rating though) I've changed the ROM more than 10 times, in fact am currently running HTC 10 ROM on my HTC ONE M8.
My verdict: HTC IS QUIETLY BRILLIANT!!!
Please, how do you change rom??
i'm aware that you can change the android version (lollipop to marshmallow) and that you can root the phone but I've never heard anything about rom change.
Abeg what does it mean and how do you do it?

Also, does that mean I can change 2GB Rom to 3GB?

It will sure be Sony Xperia Z2.

Here is why (RAM 3GB, Battery 3200mAh, Camera 20MP)

HTC M8 (RAM 2GB, Battery 2600mAh, Camera 4MP)
yeah..I get all that.
But theres also the case of durability and fragility (I'm a rough phone user). it also seems maintenance is too costly(screen cracks).
I also heard it overheats.

Do you think It still beats the m8??

People who use Xperia and HTC Smartphones are cool fans - they don't make noise (not like Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U Fans who make noise as brand identity)

Xperia and HTC are the coolest smartphone brands on Android platform ever manufactured. Other brands are copycats

if you had to choose between htc and sony; lets say m8 vs z2 which would be your choice and why?

they get heat up on heavy usage.

Thanks a lot bro. I might end up buying the m8 instead. The z2 (i had z2 in mind not z1) seems to have exceptional overheating and hanging problems. The video camera and other gaming stuff can't endure for long.
