Man Konate is literally a kid. He was born in 1999.
I come here to check on trending series and look at reviews. The last 15 or so pages have been almost completely about animie & so. I can barely follow live action conversation. Funny enough its just 2-3 people that seem to be pushing the whole narrative/arguments.

My bro this is a series thread and you have all the right to push Animie. But its obvious that within the umbrella of Series, you are more of a animie person. It also seems like most people here are not so crazy about animie. Why not tone down the pics and arguments a bit or better still make a thread where y'all can express yourselves perfectly. Just so everyone can follow and be happy.

The freydis girl was doing her final test to become a shield madien. And to to successful she had to defeat like 6 other six madiens
She also removed her amour & dropped her weapons yet defeated one of the best shield madiens. Does it make sense?!

Plus the Harald guy who swore to avenge his brother. Then the only thing that could change his mind was the throne of Norway he was offered. All of a sudden he renounced the fight for his throne & decided to fight for Kattegat because of a chick he fvcked once? & chatted twice? The chick herself isn't even from kattegat.
Infact, the greenlanders themselves all of a sudden became the most important people there and were carrying everything on their head. Where were the top Kattegat Warriors? Except they are Avengers I don't understand them fighting over what doesn't concern them.

This Viking Valhalla series is terrible compared to the original viking series. Series these days are so wack so i dont blame anyone who enjoys it.
I doubt it is the same writers. When I compare characters such as Ragner, Rollo, Floki, Bjorn, Lagertha, king Aethel... & others to these new cumheads its as if these guys are impostors.
Im actually angry because i rarely download a full season of a new serie. But after 1 episode and soo much promise I rushed to download everything. Its just full of woke crap, weak ass fight scenes, poor sex scenes, uncharismatic characters(bar 2 or 3 people) and very annoying.
The battles, and the female fighting (with a lot of screaming), the love stories that begin aftrr 1 day) etc has made me give up on it.

Since Ragner died, Vikings have never been the same.

There is a perfect explanation for it if you watch the show.
Remember vikings Valhalla is more than a 100 years after the death of the sons of Ragnar so in a 100 years, Things have changed.
Migration is paramount.
Kings will fall in love with women from other tribes Just as how Ragnar married women from other countries.
The Black queen explained beautifully well how she became a queen because her father, a viking fell in love with a black woman who later became the queen as then she now became an heir to the throne of Kattegat.
Which makes perfectly sense and kudos to the writers for that was a genius move by them.
No story of this world will be ever told completely without the influence of blacks and the presence of blacks.
Writers have successfully written off blacks from history but we all know the truth that blacks have been present in all history since the days of Adam and Eve.
The writers of vikings Valhalla got it all write in involving a black queen as we all knew that kings of olds, many of them married black queens.
Kings like ceaser and the rest.
If the history of a country does not includes blacks then the history is a lie.

To start with, the character "Haakon sigurdsson", is not fiction. He was a white man, bearded even.
Turning him into a black woman for no other purpose than to appease fickle minded viewers is a travesty. Imagine making Shaka the Zulu a White man or Oba of Benin a Japanese woman.

Secondly, even if we were to accept that this is fiction it still doesn't make sense. In Europe, the centre of the world most blacks were slaves & servants. In Norway, which is just a big village of raiders, rapists, looters & pillagers it doesn't make sense that they will accept a woman, a black woman, surrounded by weaker females and foreigners as their queen.
Perhaps if the woman was strong & charismatic like Lagertha people will rally behind her.
Do you really see blood thirsty vikings falling in behind Ms. Haakon?
We need good characters, not black characters!

Lastly, you said no story is complete without influence of blacks but that's just a lie.
Many stories have no black influence.
And that's okay. Cos many stories have no white influence. Certainly my village has no white influence until the last 200 years.

Just finished the last episode of "Th e man in the high castle" season 4.
It was a mess. The ending was soo terrible, bland and cliché. It was soo perfect and useless.
The whole frama didn't make sense. Should have quit in season 3.
Nonetheless one of the best series I've seen this year.

Wow Wow Wow
I know I'm sounding like a siren, but this series gave me multiple moviegasms. It's been a while since I've been thoroughly satisfied with a cinematic expression.

The plot procession was perfect , this is the kind of writing I hope to churn out one day. I'm definitely going to stalk the writer on social media.

I've watched so many movies/series, that I already know how it's going to end(most plots are predictable) but this one had me bamboozled to the very end. Each time I think , I know the answer , boom , a new twist occurs. I had my mouth opened wide in the last episode, I definitely didn't see it coming.

All the elements of screenplay employed were totally in sync, from the camera angles to the characters to the suspense.

Aarrrgh, I could go on and on about this series but I don't want to bore you guys. Lol
The writers also made it a limited series , which is perfect because it needs nothing else.


P.S : We can't all like the same thing, if you watch and your taste is distasteful, do well not to quote me because I can draw swords at any slander of this series
