the two major reasons i left out the Samsung galaxy S6 are

1. the price is extremely above your budget...sold around 98k to 120k

2. the poor battery backup is disappointing

as regard the m8 and z2, the m8 is slightly better than z2 in terms of battery, and significantly better in terms of audio quality. also the m8 can withstand impact as the casing is aluminium. but the z2 back cover is made of glass and can easily get broken
I agree!! i'm kind of leaning towards the m8 atm. I really like its ruggedness and looks. Besides, I heard the z2 has overheating and hanging /lagging problems.

I just hope I don't enter into problems with the battery since its already used and unremovable.

i would recommend xperia z2 or m8 but unfortunately your budget is a little bit less considering the menace of our current exchange rate. currently direct UK used for xperia x2 is around 55k to 60k while m8 also sells around that same price.
xperia z1 is another great device i can recommend and you can get it around 45k clean and direct UK used

Thanks a lot for your recommendation, it seems I have to start saving.
Do you have any preference btw m8 and z2?
I noticed you left out the samsung. Any reason?

Also, do you sell phones

Big lie. I upgraded my htc one m8 to android 6 a week after I bought and it was really wonderful. Maybe android 6 slacks on your phone that is why you think it should be the same on everyone's phone. Ignore joor.
Hey bro, i'm planning to buy that m8( fairly used tho) before the year runs out.
What do you think about its Camera, battery life, over heating, memory space, unremovable battery, nano sim etc.
Generally, whats your advice and what should I look out for? Any pros and cons??

Abagworo:

You assumed too much. Do you believe the Governor singlehandedly made the decision without consultation? The consultations started 4 years ago and the agreement was reached then and updated recently with the traders. Google it and verify from many sources.

http://www.imostateblog.com/2012/10/15/details-from-governor-rochas-okorochas-meeting-with-street-traders-in-owerri/

http://theleaderassumpta.com/2015/11/15/govt-to-relocate-ekeukwu-traders-to-onitsha-road-owerri/

Again the title of this thread and Vanguard frequent false or twisted news about Okorocha should be taken with a pinch of salt. This entire thread is based on false allegation because no official made such comments. He said the indigenes got a court injuction refraining Government from working in the market and its environs hence the Government is obeying the court.
I will verify and confirm those reports duly and if wrong, I will check my "assumptions".
I wish to communicate privately with you sir. A pm will be ideal if possible.

Take a deep breathe and calm down.. We can be civil in this discussion.

The Governor has honored the Court Order, that's why no bulldozers have rolled in just yet.

I did not say the court order should be trashed, go and re-read my post and see that I never said that.

The little I know spoke to the facts on ground. Governor wants to relocate market, "STAKEHOLDERS" go to court and stonewalled the move.

I simply wrote about how I would have handled it. I agree with the Governor that the Market should be relocated. My experience as a Nigerian has shown me that Nigerians are not always honest with themselves. The Market has grown too big for that location and is causing both vehicular and human traffic, generates a shiitload of waste as is evident in the picture and is an eyesore to that general area. The last time I passed that road (trying to go to Aba), it was a really shiity experience.

The courts have given there orders. As a Governor, I would respect it. But I will police and tax that neighborhood so hard, it would not be convenient for that market to thrive there. I would do things like place high parking taxes on people going to the Market, arrest and fine loiterers and jay-walkers, arrest and fine hawkers and squatters, regulate the Market activities with a really hard hand. If they dont want to move to a new more convinient location, then they would remain at this location under very strict regulatory laws. WIN - WIN. grin

Yeah I get that the will of the people (mostly the marketers and probably the community that makes money off of the Market in taxes and levies) may not agree with the Market being moved, but one thing I know is that Majority isn't always right. especially in this case where the people opposing the movement of the market are the stakeholders of the market.

ALL the Governor has done is honour the Court Order and left the Market alone (including the waste they generate and the nuisance they constitute).

First And foremost, I apologize for my attacks. I felt it was someone with no knowledge of the environment not knowing you have seen the great Ekeukwu in flesh and blood.
To be candid, what you said is true. No one can deny that the market and the area as a whole is too congested and rowdy. It is a fact.
What you have not considered is the "situation and tensions on ground". It is obvious that imolites have lost faith in their governor. They simply do not trust him. Also, that market has sentimental value to the owerri man. He will fight till his last drop of blood for it. Other governments have tried and failed so Rochas is simply wasting his time.
What you would have done does seem good , but in effect, can lead to disastrous outcomes.
I think the first step is to sit with the stakeholders and find middle ground.
In the end it can be decided to remove street traders totally, expand the roads, build car park curb illegal parking, driving away of those rowdy motor parks etc. Also they could increase their tax and renovate the market so that it is more space conservative and more modern. Many structures will be demolished and more land annexed. In other words, the 'main' market remains but becomes smaller, less rowdy and more modern. Those street traders are relocated to the new site. With time everything evens out and everybody is happy.
That is what would have worked out in Imo state. Unfortunately, Mr. governor would need to be trusted first.
Politics / Re: Owerri Refuse: We Deliberately Left It To Punish Indigenes – Imo Govt by Bobbybube(m): 3:42pm On Oct 07, 2016
MadCow1:
I am not the biggest fan of Rochas but I must say that I support this..

From the little I know on the matter, the State Government put forward a proposal to relocate the market from there to somewhere else due to over congestion, traffic and waste management issues. The Market Union got an injunction barring the State Government from demolishing the Market. So the State government decides to leave the Market alone.

Here is how I would have handled it;

I will leave the Market alone. Let them sort out their waste management, security, electricity, water, e.t.c...

Heavily tax the Market as well. Anybody caught parking illegally, disposing waste on the streets, jaywalking or loitering will be arrested and fined or jailed. I will use any means necessary to force that market out of there. make it uneasy for the Market to thrive.

That fhucking Market has got to go.. Any honest person would agree with that.
This is probably the most stupid comment I have come across on NL.
FACTS:
The governor singlehandedly decided to relocate the market to somewhere far away from the town without consulting stake holders.
Market leaders, traders, indigenes and others involved disagreed.
Mr governor refused.
They took the matter to court and " legally" were allowed to remain.

Now, you seat down in your home and stupidly decide that the court order should be trashed and circumvented; that the people's wishes are irrelevant; that you can do whatever you want(cos democracy is wrong and you are the right dictator); and that it is right for a government to fight the people who gave them a mandate to rule.

Please, try to think objectively and criticize constructively. The "little you know" is obviously not enough to adequately allow you do this.

Woe unto the inhabitants of IMO for Rochas Okorocha of all men is your Governor.

We warned the people of IMO in 2015 but they preferred to play politics of petty sentiments. Now they should enjoy the 'Rochas they know'.

No chief executive can fix such imposition without an enabling legislation from the state house of assembly. So this act is null and void ab initio.
The IMO state house of assembly is the most useless and most redundant in the history of legislative business. I have began a campaign that none of them in that assembly be returned in 2019. Still consulting and as an election year draws near,it will be more vigorous. They have all failed as Rochas runs around like a mad dog without any checks and balance
I perfectly agree with you on that. Infact, I am fully ready and able to help in any way I can towards that objective.

Even if I mention roads you would always shift post as long as you are opposition. Example is Ojukwu Boulevard, Dee Sam Road, 1st Inland Road and Wetheral Road. I can produce photos as well. Okorocha recently demolished road side structures to expand roads and opposition went about circulating pictures of the demolished areas as propaganda to mislead those that don't know.
That very road you posted in the picture(which leads to Concord hotel) was built by Udenwa. Wethdral road has also been there long before Rochas came into power and has not been revamped either.
i'm aware of the 'fake' inland road that was built by china contractors unfortunately it has already been destroyed by rain.
I don't just want to go into the failed expansion project which has been abandoned, was unlawful, and contrary to the town plan.
Rochas has simply flopped....like a grandfather playing in the Premier League.

Wonderful story! it makes an amazing read.
I stumbled on it, and I've not regretted a moment since then.
Big ups#

Little critique: your depiction of guys in this story (at some points) could be said to be a woman's point of view. ie, how a woman sees a man as opposed to how he really behaves. Example, generally, you don't expect that guys decide whether to fxck or to 'make love'. That is even if he is aware that there is a difference. It is more like "slow, steady and deep" as opposed to "hard, fast and rough" to him. I don't even expect a man to use the term " make love". Its more like what Tomi would discuss with Victoria.
Apart from that..i doff my hat. Your a boss!

lolol..you and the rest of frank fans are stuck in the past. yeah, once upon a time, frank underwood was a force to be reckoned with, but since he ascended to presidency, frank has been anything but formidable.

he's so weak that dunbar would have upstage him for the sole democrat nomination if not that she got overambitious and wrecked her campaign in the process. he's so vulnerable that anyone can take him down if they look in the right places(his father was a kkk member). he's so out of his depth in the foreign and domestic policies that some of his questionable decisions are haunting his campaign and office. he's so scared of claire that he's forced to defer to her on many occasion. he's so much hated by most american citizens that it wasn't much of a surprise when an elderly man stepped out in the street and flipped him a birdie. the damn clown couldn't even win his home state.

frank of season 3 & 4 is quite ordinary. he's a man trying everything he can to stay ashore but gradually losing ground anyway. very soon a huge tide is gonna come and sweep him into the roaring dark unforgiving sea.

I get everything you're saying about frank but I think you are forgetting something important. The beauty in Frank Underwood is that no matter what, no matter shooting him, heather dunbar, his corruption, manipulation and lies, conway, his father's past, his wife's over ambition, and hatred from many angles, he always comes out on top. For one man to face bombardment from his party, his friends and partners, angry journalists, Russia, terrorism, and even his wife yet always triumph is extremely admirable.
What has Baelish faced in comparison. He has always had it good. leaching from one person to another. He poisoned jeoffrey yet he is still as far from the throne. The eunuch has a far better chance of getting the throne because he always has the right allies.
Littlefinger is presently an ex brothel owner that has the ear of a little boy in a minor Kingdom without any real ally. Even Sansa sees through him and cannot let him kiss her. Underwood is POTUS without a single election. That itself is enough.

Let's say the truth to ourselves. This is at best a witch hunt immersed in tribalism and bigotry.
A true statesman doesn't go about taking opposition out and embezzling power. A blind man can see that almost all names there belong to a certain party, and that the few names from his party are at loggerheads with him or a threat to his position.
I don't just want to go into the dispairing percentage of Southerners and 'middle-beltans" as opposed to the core north. This is extremely unbecoming of a man his age and experience.
What of those openly corrupt ex-governors that supported his elections. Lagos, kano and Rivers come to mind immediately yet they are absent.

Politics / Re: Okorocha Continues His Massive Demolition, Imo Residents In Tears (photos) by Bobbybube(m): 12:47am On Jul 22, 2016
There's no problem demolishing illegal structures. The problem is when you start demolishing every and any structure for reasons in your head.
A man wakes up one morning and decides to expand all roads in town at the same time(when all roads outside town are in serious disrepair) and brings down all structure even though they have are approved by the town planning commission and have an adequate spacing from the road. He has refused the court injunction to stop work and nothing can be done because of his immunity. Half of the city in in shambles presently. With the present recession, is this really the best time for demolition and destruction
The worst issue is that, Rochas doesn't finish his projects. He has brought down all these structures ( legal and illegal alike) for nothing. Examples of abandoned projects are: owerri at 40 estate, general Hospitals in every local government, underground carpark, fly over in akwakuma, numerous roads etc.

A true scammer at work.

Thinking so too. But even if we generate just 1000MW of electricity from Nuclear, it will help in developing the subject and increase research also.

Governments are not ready to do anything on that solar and wind energy, so if they have chosen Nuclear, it just have to favour research.
My brother, we have 3 refineries yet none of them is remotely efficient.
We have the longest river in west Africa, plenty other rivers and lots of natural gas yet we can't produce 5000 mw of electricity.
The truth is that most things in Nigeria are not working. Trying to start nuclear energy generation will be a great disaster. Charity begins at home.. let us efficiently manage other forms of power available before we start looking nuclear.
Note that the countries involved in nuclear energy are very few and its major users are super nations. The only African nation there is south Africa and they are not a regular African country. They even produce about 40,000 mw. Do you think that the other African countries are stupid?
Any call for Nuclear power at this time is suicidal!
