Y0ruba:

Here is the outright display of emotional outbursts Yiibos are known for. You have recounted, in your itemized lists of nonsenses, stories told by your fathers and mothers without conducting any personal readings.

I won’t get in the gutter with you, the insults you’ve flung around are reflective of your parenting and backgrounds.

If you can read, here you go:

See: https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2017/06/01/historical-excursion-ojukwu-starved-thousands-biafran-children-death/

Next time you want to engage folks, please work on your use of English. In addition, learn to present documents or facts as you have called them before requesting them from other people.

You exude the Yiibo logic way too much - excessive emotional outbursts and then the sense of entitlement. You want from others but won’t provide any. Smh.

It is futile talking to you. You cannot judge a man based on comments from another man without proof. Robert Goldstein was most likely another man bought over by the Nigerian government and their British and Russian allies.
I will tell you that those claims are uncredible, have the fewest references and were obviously taken out of context.
I made a screenshot showing a glimpse of what actually transpired.
It was also stated that the Nigerian government targetted red cross flight.
I believe that any sane man should be wary of the trickery of his enemies in a war. Why should you allow your food to pass through their land? Can you guarantee its safety? What if they decide to attack through that corridor? Or mask themselves as red cross workers and carry out guerilla attacks and more massacres?
I rest my case. You can tell a lie a hundred times but that does not make it the truth. A man can call ojukwu murderer of his own poeple but that does not make it true.

From the first few lines of the post, I knew the author had to be Yiibo not that it takes anything away from the things he said though.

My disagreement here is how Yiibos continue to chorus the falsehood of Gowon (and lowkey Awolow) starving Biafra to death. From papers the Red Cross and Caritas released, it was stated in clear texts that Ojukwu effected the blockade because he was losing the war and thought he could use the method of starving his people to death to sway the international
community.

In fact, research papers and textbooks have said time and again that Biafra soldiers cornered foods that got into the Biafran territory because they were doing all the ‘work’ and had to eat first.

Let us stop this nonsense of pushing emotional drivels. The same Red Cross the author butt-kissed in his write-up already blamed Ojukwu for making his people starve for his own selfish agenda.

Ojukwu killed more Yiibos than Nigerian Army did, fact!

You are a bastard son of a thousand fathers. A fool with no nation. You're a waste of semen and a shame to your slaved forefathers.
How can a sane individual spew such rubbish. I recommend you should be banned because your comments which are clearly falsehood are only geared towards more national strife.
FACTS:
1: Red cross planes were targerted by the Nigerian army.
2:Awolowo encouraged and spearheaded the food blockade openly.
3:What is the logic in starving your citizens, your soldiers and by extension yourself during a war so that you will receive pity.
4:Any reports and claims you made are clearly false. The Nigeria-Biafra war was the first to followed extensively by the media and international bodies since WW2. It was even debated in the American congress. No one ever spewed such rubbish about Ojukwu if not he would have been charged to the ICC as a war criminal.
5: it's Igbo not yiibo.

Next time before such baseless claims and allegations support them with facts and documents. And i am not talking about doctored ones.

I use an infinix note 4. It's less than 2 months old. My battery has been giving me problems ever since. It was manageable before but now it is simply atrocious. I can barely get 6 hours. I've noticed that when it charges up to 87% it switches to normal slow charging.
Also, the cameras are simply poor. I noticed others have the note 4 logos on their selfies but I'm yet to see such. I have looked for updates to no avail. At times i wonder if its fake or a clone.

THERE IS A WITCH IN EVERY WOMAN!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>∆∆∆<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

This is a very interesting story and a lesson for men.

(To men) Please take time to ponder.

(To women) Just enjoy the story.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom.

The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question was:
*What do women really want?*

Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man. And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but first he would have to agree to her price.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, and Arthur's closest friend. Young Arthur was horrified.

She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.

He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden.

But Lancelot, having learnt of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life. And the reservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered.

Arthur's question thus:
"What a woman really wants?"

She said, "A woman wants to be in charge of her own life."

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth, and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was. The neighbouring monarch granted Arthur his freedom. And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him.

The most beautiful woman he had ever seen was sitting by the bed.

The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth become her horrible and deformed self only half the time, and be the beautiful maiden the other half.

"Which would you prefer?" She asked him. "BEAUTIFUL during the DAY... OR at NIGHT?"

Lancelot pondered the predicament.

During the day, he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch!

OR,

would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day? But by night a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous moments with?

(If you are a man reading this) What would YOUR choice be?

(If you are a woman reading this) What would YOUR MAN'S choice be?

And Lancelot's choice is given below...

BUT, please make YOUR choice first before you scroll down below!

OKAY?

Knowing the answer the witch gave to Arthur for his question, Sir Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time, because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now, what is the moral to this

The moral is...

1. There is a 'witch' in every woman, no matter how beautiful she is. It's how a man manages it

2. If you let a woman decide on her own she gives u the best.

Culled from Whatsapp.
Very nice story. But that's all it is a story. Nothing mote than that.
Human beings have always been known to make flawed decisions from time immemorial and millions of people don't know what is best for them.
I'm not saying women shouldn't make decisions themselves but several people take advantage of you when given the chance.

Hello Chris. I hope you'll be able to help me cos my skin problems no be here.
I have regularly recurring rashes on my back(mosly) and chest area.the rashes are very small like heat rashes but they occur even in cold weather. After using any good antifungal once it dissapears immediately only to reappear in less than a week. Basically, I need to rub my skineal at least twice a week or risk a return of the rashes and aggravated itching. I can't say how many years now.l need to add that personal hygiene is one of my priorities.
Secondly, I sweat a lot. At the slightest discomfort. I cant bear to stay in a crowded area without a fan/ac. Ventilation wouldn't do. I am not slim but im also not fat.I'm quite fit too. How can I stop this unnecessary and embarrassing sweating.
Lastly, I have a sensitive oily face besiged with pimples and black spots since puberty. I recently discovered neomedrol and its keeping the pimples at a manageable level without bleaching but the spots are really bad. Any advice on the spots? Heard of dermalmd serum but not much.
Plus what are your thoughts on exfoliators, facial cleansers and moisturizers/sunscreen.
Travel / Re: My Trip To Owu Waterfall, Kwara State (photos) by Bobbybube(m): 11:30pm On Oct 05, 2017
javacompgeek:
In our last Waterfall post, we explored Farin Ruwa Waterfall. In this post, we will be sharing a visitor experience of Owu Waterfall and encourage you to Visit Nigeria Now.
I am a keen Nigerian Tourist, born and brought up in Lagos with a love for travelling and visiting tourist sites. For those sites I can’t visit, I read about them. I’ve visited a few sites including: Ibadan Zoo, Unilorin Zoo, Nekede Zoological Garden, Unilorin Dam, Lokoja Confluence, National Mosque Abuja, Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Godswill Apabio Stadium Uyo, Niger Bridge (pardon me including buildings… An Architect and so i love and value buildings) and so on. States visited include Abia, Akwa-ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ekiti, Imo, Kwara, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun and Abuja, these are the ones i can remember at the moment

I read a lot about tourist sites and in my view, Owu falls is among the top 10 natural wonders in Nigeria as it is claimed to be the tallest natural waterfall in Nigeria and in west Africa (although i think the one in Ghana is taller ….lol). When I got posted to Kwara for my NYSC, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to visit the fall.

I and my tour party didn’t get a tour guide on the day so I cannot tell you much about the history of the fall, but from research I gathered Owu falls was discovered by a missionary in the mid 90s, although another myth says that Owu falls and its environs used to be home to dangerous birds and large snakes until God came to Kill them all thereby making the area habitable for humans without fear. The choice is ours which version you believe but I know what version I will be telling my kids smiley. A bit of an aside, I never understand when they say a missionary came and ‘discovered’ something in Africa, as if no one else in Africa has ever seen that thing before then this European arrives with his 2020 vision and just like magic, he sees what no African has seen in thousands of years, a load of rubbish. Anyway, moving on…

We went to the waterfall as a group. We were all Youth Corpers so essentially we were a big group of friends. We arranged two buses from Ilorin to take us there and also made arrangements for food and drinks. I carried my personal Bluetooth speaker which made the journey even more fun. We left Ilorin around 10am and got to the village at 12pm, we then started our 45 minutes trek / jog to the falls. It wasn’t difficult locating the waterfall as one of our drivers was quite experienced and the footpath was pretty straight forward.

One point to note is that a courtesy visit needs to be paid to the Onire of Owa-Onire, Oba Abdulraham Fabiyi before you head to he fall. We didn’t know this and only visited after our trip to the fall. Reason for this visit apparently is to enable the Oba/community to prepare and get tour guides ready for visitors. needless to say we had no guide with us due to this error.

owu waterfall visitnigerianowThe trek I mentioned earlier was more like a hike as the footpath got steeper as we approached the waterfall so you could easily include hiking as part of the adventure to Owu waterfall. On getting to the site, there are few fun activities to do including swimming, taking shots & the all-important selfies. The ambience and the group I went with made it so much fun, beyond what can be put down in words so I will advise you to go in a group when planning this trip, you’ll enjoy it better and I guess feel much safer.

It is advisable to go with hiking shoes (not slippers, sandals, heels or anything fancy), extra clothing (for those that plan to get close to the falling water and hence get wet), swimming trunks (if you plan to swim of course), towel, camera, some food and drinks and maybe some entertainment if possible.

My best feature of the trip and the fall is how magical it is, it responds to voice. The louder you scream, the higher the volume of the water!!! I guess the little annoying thing about the trip was that at a point in the journey, we encountered some insects and also lost phone signal. Not a major but just thought I should moan about it!

In conclusion, Owu falls is a place to be, a natural beauty and a hidden treasure the government hasn’t really tapped. My wish is for the government to develop the environs, especially the access roads and other amenities in order to make it more attractive for tourists.

My name is Chinedu Njoku and a travel enthusiast.

People need to learn to separate church doctrines from biblical truths.
Throughout the bible from the new testament to the old testament people have always been marrying more than one wife.
Even Jesus christ never condemned it.
This idea of monogamy is unafrican... part of western influences on christianity.
Where was it explictly stated that polygamy is sinful and amounts to hell.
