Only spiritual ppl/spirit exists in the place they tell you is heaven. The heaven we mortals seek is the one on earth. It is a paradise restored. This our world will be purged off evil by fire to get a brand new earth which is the heaven. It is a world without evil. The heaven you described is the daily life of the spirits that exists there. Many their will take up bodies to come to earth for as we can't go to heaven with our bodies they too can't descend without a body. As spirits can't live here we too can't live there. God will bring his presence to earth. The bible say that the tabernacle of God shall be with men. Many of them will come here with a body. You are not flying to anywhere. Even as we speak many angels are here in a body. To qualify you must be of the Wheats not the Tares. Christians don't know what they are teaching. We will live as we are living today in the restored earth/heaven but in a righteous way

You want to be sucked up into heaven? The word "heaven" is not even the abode of the Creator. Read Genesis 1, heaven means firmament. It is like a decking that separates one storey from another. But i will use it according to your understanding. You Churchians believe so many wrong things and never care to research. Those in heaven are lights/spirits. You can't ascend their with your earthly bodies without death.

Now the bible makes us understand that it is heaven on earth or a paradise earth. You can't go to heaven without death and you can't come from heaven without taking up a body

It is a short but powerful Psalm.

However, I also have to revisit my suspicion that celibacy or near celibacy may be a factor in this thing.

And the bad news is that once you develop a mindset of celibacy or near celibacy, it is difficult to reverse.
