Hello,

Good Morning everyone,
I applied for study permit on the 3rd of November, 2020 and got a rejection letter on the 17th of January, 2021.
The reasons for rejection were:
• I am not satisfied you will leave Canada at the end of your stay based on: purpose of visit
• I am not satisfied you will leave Canada at the end of your stay based on: personal assets and financial status and
• your proposed study is not reasonable

I further requested for the GCMS Notes and recently got a reply and it says:
1. lump sum deposit, it is unclear whether funds represented will be available for students study
2. student have not demonstrated that they are established in home country
3. applicants family is not established in country of residence
4. motivation to study in Canada does not seem reasonable at this point; study plan submitted is general and does not outline clear career path or goal

SOME NOTED DETAILS
+ i started my bachelors degree in my home country where i completed only 3 semesters (Bsc Nursing Program 2017- 2018). I got admission into Pre-Nursing program and after completions further apply to get into the nursing program
+ 20 years
+ Mother is my sponsor
+No work experience
+paid tuition fees and started my classes online

Please can i get help on how to tackle this issues as i plan to reapply soon.....like how can i proof i am established in my home country? can my mum be my tie to my home country? and please what documents do i need to submit in this second application?...... Thank you all

Gooday!
Is it compulsory for an undergraduate student been sponsored by his brother staying in Canada to show proof of family ties or landed properties? Because the person is not up to 20 years of age and also is affidavit support needed?

How about someone who couldn't meet the NSE submission date due to timing of the examination, can the person send webform indicating that he won't go through the NSE route? Is it advisable?

Gooday! I submitted my NSE documents Feb 8th and got submition confirmation the following day but my eligibility review hasn't started instead showing is in progress, they will let me know when it starts. I wanted to ask if there is a problem! Although my MBS was not submitted because my sponsor lives in Canada but his BS was submitted with LOE . Please she'd some light.

Since he is not in Nigeria, he won’t be able to show the MB statement. I think that is only obtainable for Nigerian banks.

He should get his statement of account and send to you so you can upload it.

I think that is the best way and you can then include a LOE stating that he does not have a Nigerian account hence the reason for submitting his Canadian bank account statement.

Please wait to hear from others too.
Thank you very much.
I hope they accept it!

My application is still in process so I won't know for certain. Its an alternative which I believe is better than not sending anything at all.

Nice, I might give it a try. Did you get any other way from gurus in the house?

It will end in praise!

Hello! I asked my sponsor to confirm from his bank if there's any alternative to MBS which he did and they said there was none. He just provided me with his 12 months bank statements showing more than the 30kCAD required as his closing balance and a reference letter from his bank stating the amount he has with them and how long his account has been in operation for plus some other stuff they would normally include.

He also wrote another letter of support stating the amount he has and how much he's willign to contribute in my education in Canada.

I included a small LOE in my proof of funds explaining that he isn't based in Nigeria and his bank doesn't offer MBS services and stated the documents he had provided me with and included the balances.

If you uploaded your own account statement too, get the MBS cert from your bank here and also include.

I don't know if that helps, do your findings and wait for the gurus to contribute as well.

IT WILL END IN PRAISE.

Thank you! Did they accept the letter and the alternative?
