Message them about your eligibility, it should have started but they didn't update it.. That's what I did, and within few hours, my eligibility started.. it will end in praise

Yes they did, the normal refusal letter, I attached a screenshot image below of the reasons for refusal.

Did they notify before refusing the application? Like a mail or something?

Hello Everyone, I received the order for my gcms notes yesterday. I Will explain about myself in details related to this application, If you have any advice or recommendations you can help me I'll be glad so this can make my future application successful.

1. I graduated with Bsc in Information Technology from Bluecrest college Ghana. I am currently a graphic designer, I do this as a freelancer just to keep myself busy but I have the desire to be a data scientist in future, furthermore, I chose to Study a Post Graduate diploma in Data analysis at Langara College my reasons being, it's a 2 years course with and extra work term (5 semesters) which in turn gives me enough time to garner some good work experience while in school and on the other hand I will have a 3 years pgwp after graduation so I considered this a win-win for me despite choosing a PG Diploma instead of an MSc, all Msc in Data science I've researched so far are either just one year with no work experience or the tuition fees is out of my budget or both.

2. The second point about my finances is that the lump sum was paid into an estate account by the federal government of Nigeria, the account is overseen by me and my sister. The money was paid as retirement benefits for their workers who are deceased,she was a staff of the former energy company NEPA which was previously owned by the federal government of Nigeria. Although I did not specify this information in my SOP in my last application. Please immigration experts et all, your recommendations are welcomed, moving forward what would you advice me to do to make my next application successful ?

Yes and I told them that my eligibility review s yet to be updated since applying, it was updated that same day

I had almost the same experience though I was sent NSe request, my eligibility didn't start over like 2 months... I believe it would have started maybe they forgot to update it. It was until I sent them mail saying my eligibility hasn't started, they updated it that day.. it will end in praise

what i believe on this DLI issue is that once you are in canada getting a new study permit won't be difficult it can only be difficult if u are outside the borders.

Breaking News : Canada Study Permit

Now, students will not be able to change the DLI/Institute after study visa approval.

Student has to lodge a fresh application for new DLI.

Can you shed more light on the DLI stuff?

The fact is, the study permit issued at the port of entry usually has your DLI written on it. So if you need to change DLI after you have received your study permit, then you need to apply for any study permit for the new DLI. This may not necessarily affect your study visa.

Note there is a difference between study visa and study permit.

Same here! Applied on the 15th and eligibility hasn't started, I have applied for my gcms note Sha, But my PPR will soon drop! So just calm down, find a way to order for your notes but I believe the good news should be out before your notes comes out.. it will end in praise!

Hello guys, my sister got a visa denial this week. But that is not the main issue, cos she was not really interested in it anymore(other plans came up) the issue now is that one of the reason given in her denial was that they are not satisfied that she will leave Canada cos of her family tie in Canada and her home country (Nigeria). What do they mean by family tie in Canada because she never said she had any family in canada.
