1. Look for any house that has a dstv installed. Observe where the dish is facing and position your dish in that direction too.

2. Connect your co-axial cable from the lnb to your decorder. Btw which decorder are you using?

3. Connect your tv and your decorder to a power source. Also connect your av cable from your decorder to the tv.Your screen will show no signal.

4. Press "menu" button on your decorder remote, your tv screen will display many options. If nothing shows up, check your av cable connection and remote battery. Its just same as connecting a dvd. If your menu page displayed, you are good.

5. Select the "installation" icon on the tv using your decorder remote.

6. If asked for a password, just press 0000 and the installation page will open. If u are not asked for password, you are still good. Just open the "installation" icon.
