twinskenny: i get your point.. pop is a little different
you ask a guy to do 54sqm at 1k per labour...
you still expect him to buy casting board 13500 range from 4k he will need 4 or so thats 16k thats almost halve of the labour cost....
hope you understand now..
as electrician you dont need to provide me any tools. pay my labour and get your work done. pop is lil different Is casting board a component of the pop ceiling or is it a working tool of the pop worker? If it is a component then the client should buy it, but if it is working tool then the pop guy should have it standby. As electrician, if I decide to buy the wiring materials will you include your working tools (meter, screw drivers, testers etc) in the list of things I should buy? |

kopell: YES Ooo my brother, the Engineer will spell out everything needed in contract including paint Buckets including line's. They are all yours when they finish. One thing that always leads to argument in contracting job out is inflate the materials needed, even after bringing the materials to your site when the job is done many of them will claim the reaming materials are theirs and will like to take them when they are done. I don't understand that ooo. I think we should have a debate on this issue in order to have better understanding. As a client, my boundary stops at providing materials needed, while the artisan provides the machinery and tools he needs. Except there's a special agreement between us. |

bolu1986: ...if you give out the job as contract say 6k per square meter then i will be the one to provide all the tools and those accessories mentioned up there but if you are buying materials by yourself then you will be responsible for those stuff In other words, if I hire a bricklayer for a job, after buying materials (cement, sand, water, stones), I will still buy/provide headpan, shovel, trowel, rope, tape, gauge.... |

This buhari time we all need to save cost so we can use the left overs to complete other stuffs. If you can afford hdf doors plz go for it but don’t ever go for pako doors oh from sawmill lol. Is there anything wrong with those doors? |

ezenwaez: How To Check Your Npower Portal To See If You Have Been Shortlisted For Npower Deployment Without Receiving Deployment Message
Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiaries can check their Npower portal to see if they have been shortlisted for the Npower deployment exercise without having to wait for the deployment message. In order to check the Npower portal to see if you have been shortlisted for the Npower deployment process the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary should carry out the simple steps below.
1) The Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiary should login into his or her Npower portal with his or her Npower ID and password.
2) After login into the Npower portal the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary should click on the deployment tab immediately after the verification tab on the Npower portal.
3) The Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiary should scroll down the deployment page, once the address of the Npower place of primary assignment is displayed, the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary should write down the address of the place of primary assignment on a sheet of paper.
4) The Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiary should locate the local government secretariat or zone where the place of primary assignment is located, then the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary should proceed to that local government secretariat to check his or her name on the posting list at the deployment centre.
The above step is a quick procedure an Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiary can use to check if he or she has been shortlisted for the Npower deployment exercise without waiting for the deployment message. I heard people go to their secretariat to collect their posting letter even without see any PPA on their dashboard |

Successbay: Hmm..
The main thing is both parties should be honest on their dealings. If a customer wants to buy his/her materials.. let it be and charge at a rate you wouldn't compromise on the quality of job to be delivered, nor make him spend unnecessarily.
The customer should also be considerate in the bargain. Yea right... Fairness! |

FEGEITOK: A thoroughbred tradesman has industry connections the end user doesn't have
Option A helps his maximize his expertise and connections
He will get the materials at prices the end user can never get
He can maximize his gain by leveraging the above
He will work on your project with a better frame of mind than if Option 2 were deployed
End user wanna play smart?
Cool!
Tradesman can play that game too!
At the end of the day, it is an information differential that makes most trades possible Makes sense but I think the bolded is not necessary, sounds like dishonesty. |
