Sad to hear that.. I just ordered a 2007 Toyota corolla from the US too. Still waiting for delivery then clearing. I'm to wait for about six weeks. What really delayed yours? What was his excuse?

I have actually seen some get here within 6 weeks so don't let my own experience discourage you since you are in already but I then advice it better one choose to buy here.... There are good deals here too

Back to your question.. The car is running (working) after paying n all he said sallum want to ship as non running that the legs hook.... That he will instead fix it.... To cut long story short I end up paying for fixing n non running

One major hard lesson I learnt last year.... I don wise small now

Well my story is not a sweet one

Its a story full of regrets and everything

I hope you learn one or two

So I decided to buy a car after nysc while job haunting

I can do uber along

My mistake I order the car from America via agent

From July that we haunt/bid n won.. I paid july

So many excuses.... Aw car spoil... This n that

Na Dec.... Yesterday car touch my hand with different

Part removed already

Never will I buy car from abroad again so many lost

I really learn the hard way

radautoworks:
don't forget to keep receipts for when agent or whoever wants to drag the 50k.

Thank you Ma

pope191:
Why not fix everything in Lagos? And jejely drive down to IB

Already in IB the agent run lagos n ibadan.... So he already brought it here

GAZZUZZ:
Pair of original depo headlamps are 50k, others are 30k, bumper is 40k Toks, 25-30k new ones.

The catalytic converter is ₦150-190k

Thank you for update

dru23:
Source for it in Lagos, parts for those cars full ground like pure water sachet

I'm in ibadan only the light can be easy for me to carry.... because I do come to Lagos frequently but the bumper n exhaust big seems big for me to carry for that distance

radautoworks:
me I don't know anything about local parts market that's why I said over to you. Actually, Bobokush, I forgot there is someone I occasionally refer people to who someone here used and was satisfied. Call Chukwuma 0706 926 4175 or 0812 424 6116. Tell him his sister's friend in Houston or Radauto. Should be a good baseline. If I recall the other person reported he was the cheapest they could find at the time. If not at least you have something to negotiate with.

Okay thanks

radautoworks:
Dru23 you got this? Been a while since I junkyarded parts. It's his best bet i think and I'll ship for free.

Hmmmmmmmmn

GAZZUZZ:
All you parts can be sourced locally and easily.

I knw but since I'm not in lagos... I want to have price idea

radautoworks:
Fixed it

Lol..... Do you have the price idea?

GAZZUZZ:
Pic pls. 2007 sits between 2 generations

Actually it 2008....made in late 2007

glambo:
Hope u haven't paid the agent his balance

Remain 50k bal...

I just got my car today but to my surprise a lot of it part is missing

The agent has been giving stories and all but to cut everything short

I will to know if you people have the idea of the following as I'm very low on cash.... The car n the agent really drain me

Two front light, front bumper and the exhaust pipe with catalyst is not there... COROLLA 08 (Same body type with them 05)

I will appreciate price range of this three items

Cc radautoworks dru23 GAZZUZZ others I need you advice

Thanks
