It’s time for my testimony (Not an “A” Agency mind you)…
I’d been on the job search as you may or may not know for about 7-8 years.
I’ve spoken to SOOO many DG’s, CEO’s, Ministers, PA’s…shared so many CVs….had so many promises, wrote so many test/exams, had a few interviews….but on this fine day in June… I got a letter! (I repeat, Not an “A” Agency mind you)
About 10 days ago, a friend called me that an agency MD asked him to bring CVs if he has people (but only Science/ Engineers). So after he asked a few people, somehow I came to his mind and he spoke to me, and of course I sent the CV to him not expecting anything to happen, because who is he really?
This afternoon he just forwarded APL to my WhatsApp!

Wow. I love the way you use your success story to lighten the mood of the whole thread because many of us are tired , some of us have lost hope , others are depressed but with this, its certain that there will be light at the end of this dark tunnel for many of us very soon. Even her FCC commissioners from the 36 states are fed up with this Offa issue. Most of them (20+) are calling for her to be replaced.
Yes she may give jobs to other Kwarans but it's a small percentage. She conducts recruitment/replacement for lucrative parastatals secretly. The only time she involves them is during army recruitment, civil service, etc. You can verify this, make e no be like say na me dey talk am

The person who helped me is my boss at my golf club, he sent my CV to our fed character commissioner, who also forwarded it to his superior in Abuja, before it happened. What I'm saying is, I got it as a previledge, not really a plug

Now I just applied for customs , please I need help if anyone here is capable of helping me ,it might not be on this particular customs recruitment but any other fed govt agencies doing internal recruitments

I don't see any reason why we should insult eachother over our disagreements , we can all thrive without pulling eachother down because what is yours will definitely be yours!

People are done with screening, they're awaiting list for APL or rather call to camp as in the case of NDLEA

NDLEA has released two batches for camp , the first batch is going on the 25th of this month while the second batch is going by September

And so far 1600+ was released for senior cadre while 2k has been released for lower cardre .

However, they are yet to release the last batch for lower cadre according to what is on their website

Maybe network downtime. But it's like a list was published showing list of invited applicants and respective centres to resume.
So as to avoid bridge the problem of network failure.
NB: I didn't apply but I have been following the thread. I am waiting for NCS final list for training.

I did my screening in Abuja.
It was very seamless and cool.

The staff were generally nice.
Something remarkable that happened was...

While I was being interviewed, one guy came in to the board (obviously directed by a staff to see the commander) to complain of his situation.

He was supposed to go to Jos for his screening on the date he came to Abuja. He wanted to know is he could be attended to in Abuja since according to him, the last time his name came out (2020) it was in Abuja he supposed to report. But this time around, he saw Jos and thought it was a mistake.

After much back and forth, he was asked to go to Jos, though his date would pass that same day. The commander gave him a note to deliver to the commander in Jos so he can be accepted.

This guy started pleading ooh, that he came from a very far state, lodged in a hotel and have exhausted his funds to further travel again to Jos.

The commander had pity on him and asked him to stay back and wait till after every one that is meant to be screened in Abuja headquarters has concluded their screening before he would be attended to.


The effect on me!

They didn't ask me much questions again as the guy encroached into my time. They were just asking me if I will accept posting to the North (Boronu, Zamfara and the likes) me I kuku said Noooooooo.

Their question was because I was from the East. They even said I'm ipob.

Though they asked what I will contribute to the agency when recruited, which I answered satisfactorily.

Wow .....I received message last night for my screening in Abuja on Monday

Please , is it compulsory that I have a screening invite print out from Gmail to gain entry into the screening premises and also is it mandatory that I shave my beards completely

If I am right too ....mode of dressing must be complete white ba?

NNPC , FFS , FRSC , NPS , Customs , and this NDLEA are all through with recruitment without me being successful in any of them , it's only Nscdc that remains and my hope on that is not upto 30% again .......Man is tired

I am not lucky to be among this final list of successful applicants despite waiting since 2019. It's really sad.......Congratulations to all the successful applicants

Amen my brother ...... it's depressing atimes , but with the grace of God , man is staying strong and hoping for the best.

Sometimes , when I see people drops legit info so that everyone can press button , I will just be looking at my self that which button I wan press except miracle happens

I know of someone that the FCC woman helped to secure job in FCDA last year and when I asked him how he did it , he said his connect na the king .......

This made me to locate her place in kwara through all possible means and when she said we should write our sponsors at the back of our CV and submit to her PA, it's then I knew her help will be based on who you know because she mentioned she has lots of CVs of people from different part of the country in her possession already

But with the way, the queue is moving on this thread , i might be favoured too someday. So I believe this phase too shall pass soon

That was my first comment here above (2019 , page 39) , all the parastatatals that I was seeking for help then are through with their recruitment processes without me been lucky in any of them .

Lots of people might been thinking maybe I have not been giving in my all ,that's why i haven't seen any help yet ...I have tried all my possible best including messaging politicians on FB , contacting senators via emails on Nigerian Senate website , commenting on their tweets seeking for help but all to no avail

The last effort I made was tracking the present FCC chairman to her house in Kwara but she didn't collect my CV , a Nairalander on this thread that I called to come and submit as well can also testify to this as we were both directed to submit to her PA and till this moment , nothing from them


Life has been so unfair! Nowadays, I find myself thinking deeply about my life situation because dreams and aspirations seems to be fading away as age is no longer on my side


I really need help , A good Samaritan viewing this thread should please help my life with any govt job , my entire family will be so grateful as that would be one out of four graduates in a family finally gets a job


Please Sirs and Madams ......I am begging for your assistance in anyway that it can lift me from the street of unemployed graduates , Please don't ignore , Please help me
