chukwudi44: GEJ will not be running against Buhari. By the way, APC and PDP are both major parties now. This is not 2011, when PDP was the only national party in the country. Add the "New PDP" to the mix, and this will be a very different election landscape. Ameachi will never let Jona rig Rivers, for example. 44 Likes |

STUPENDOUS8888: Don't let them scare you ooo! According to NL hooligans, anyone who doesn't like Jonathan is a member of APC. They know that no one outside of the SS/SE likes Jonathan, so it is very important for them to believe that the middle belt will vote with them in 2015. You have just crushed their hearts by naming your region. 42 Likes |

I would just like to point out that the SE voted for Yar'Adua, OBJ, and GEJ over Ojukwu from 1999- till date. Yes - Ojukwu ran for office all those times before he passed. Now the SE is celebrating GEJ while their brightest light, their very own Tinubu, is being harassed and attacked. I leave you with the 2007 election count. That "DIM Chukwuem" is Ojukwu. He only recieved 155,974 votes in total. Yar'Adua earned over 24.8 million votes total and won over 98% in the SE. Ride on Amaechi! Bring your people to the promised land by fire or force. "Any government in power" syndrome in the SE must be defeated. 2 Likes |

When it is completed why don't you tell us. The Lagos - Kano "high speed" rail line travels at the same speed as a horse. Sincere9gerian will confirm it. I wish I was joking. Rubbish! |
Politics / Re: Ignore Ex-militants Threats, MEND To Amaechi, Others by bobthebuilder99(m): 7:25am On Sep 10, 2013 |
“It is also in order for a performing incumbent to seek a legitimate extension of his/her tenure in office as long as the peoples vote will count and the bid does not run contrary to any prior agreements reached within their party. MEND believes in honour and integrity.” Interesting choice of words. 2 Likes |

theoctopus: Lagos hasn't been the FG capital for over 20 YEARS. You are repeating nonsense that others have told you without thinking. The LASG in partnership with the private sector have built the Ikoyi link bridge, are building the Fourth Mainland Bridge (which will be one of the top 20 longest bridges in the world), are building Eko Atlantic, countless roads, buildings, etc, etc. So much development that Lagos has an 80 billion dollar economy, which is larger than 14 US states. Lagos has been a booming trade center for hundreds of years, the Bini came here to control of the lucrative spice routes (which our region controlled), the British came to live in Lagos because our region was the best place for them, and the first "Nigerians" came to put the capital here because we are strategically located, highly educated, and incredibly developed. People come TO Lagos, and TO the South West, we don't ask for them to come to us. Likewise, the FG capital came TO us because we were ALREADY the most desirable area in the newly formed nation. Lagos made the capital what it was, not the other way around. Proof of this is that Abuja attracts NOWHERE NEAR the amount of people or development that Lagos does, and it has been the FG capital for decades. The SW is a peaceful, successful, strategically located region, with wonderful, hardworking, intelligent indigenes. AS much as you try to make excuses for our success, ZERO people are scrambling to come to your village. 2 Likes |

theoctopus: 1. Child! I am not talking about Lagos, but the entire South West, which is flooded with poverty stricken men, women, and children from other regions on a daily basis! You DO NOT see people leaving the SW at the anywhere near the rate they leave other regions. This is the result of a peaceful environment and good leadership. 2. If you think it's ok that people are leaving Nigeria, in 2013, at the same rate as when we were under a brutal military dictatorship, then I have nothing to say to you. 1 Like |
