Ibo's have been attacking Yoruba in this forum for over a year!

Yoruba start fighting back for three days and the Ibo mods start pleading for calm and threatening bans!

Yet the most tribal threads are posted to the front page by Afam. They are always outlets for Igbos to bash other tribes. This constant crying for special treatment is what is making people so furious.

The best thing to do is to let us Yoruba vent so that we do not take out our frustrations in the real world.

These criminals are able to stay in office by feeding their people tribal politics. It is very, very sad.

Think about what you are saying. It doesn't make any sense. Everyone is rounded up and taken to rehabilitation centers if they are arrested for begging, or being a public nuisance. If they refuse to go to the rehabilitation centers, and they cannot provide any proof that they have a job in Lagos State, they are returned to their state of origin. This has been happening for years, and is only a "problem" now because there is an election coming up in Anambra.

Why in the world would Lagos State waste valuable time and money rounding up Igbos, feeding and housing them for months, and then bussing them across the country just because of hate? What kind of hate would that be?

6000 people come to Lagos every single day, if Fashola wanted to deport all Igbos, you would know it.

lotannam: In every event,there are lessons to be learnt by the discerning minds, the disharmony between the igbos and the Yorubas is basically caused by the scarcity of resources in comparison to the population. The igbos are over crowding and seriously displacing the yourbas in the struggle for for the limited resources and this has brought latent animosity which if not checked could result to unprecedented disaster. --- the solution in my opinion is a conscious effort by the Federal government to open up other parts of the country --- the various state government especially the south eastern governor should put polices in the place that would attract the army of Igbo investor to think home and reduce the pressure in some of the overcrowded cities like Lagos. As can be clearly attested to here, the yourbas are strongly in support of the "deportation "and this will get worse as resources particularly land becomes more scarce in Lagos.
