EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY ( EBSU)

Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki was founded in 1999 in Abakaliki, Nigeria.

In the beginning was the will. The will and aspiration were for the well-meaning people of Ebonyi State to have a University that would be theirs so as to encourage the advancement of learning and research, and in the long run, rewrite the hitherto inglorious history of educational backwardness of Ebonyi people.

The university's medical faculty was established in 1991 as ESUT's Faculty of Health Sciences. Many of its facilities were developed in response to a Guinea worm pandemic; the Abakaliki Specialist Hospital, created for this purpose, was remodelled to become Ebonyi State University's primary teaching hospital. It was subsequently granted accreditation by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) for the training of medical students and resident doctors. Since it became part of Ebonyi State University, the medical school has received considerable funding from the Ebonyi government...

Greetings to all indigens of Ebonyi State on Nairaland. I have seen others doing this and and I have also seen/heard (of) the magnificent results it has yielded too.

Let's get to know ourselves. Discuss issues concerning our mother soil. Perhaps, one might see a help mate or a long time friend you had long parted way with. All you have to do is to hop-in, introduce yourself, tell us about your work, school, business etcetera.

Ask questions relating to Ebonyi state government, our culture, tourism, mineral resources, means of Internally Generated Revenue and so on. . . get to know your state better than you had before( for those who are in abroad and those who 'd lived all their lives the city)

PROUDLY EBONYIAN, SALT OF THE NATION.

Sctests:
If the OP is very confident let him go to any state in the East and organize an Anti-Biafran protest.

He can start by removing the Biafran flags flying openly at Ihiala junction if he really means business and stop making noise.
No sane person will walk into the midst of raging lions hoping to make peace where everything is in pieces. They are more other diplomatic ways to tackle the problem rather than been daft as you proposed.

You have no country my friend

What you have is a slave camp created for the destruction of its inhabitants

The fact that events keep repeating it self
is enough indication for the wise
If being wise is fighting repeatedly without victory, losing the better part of my state(self-acclaimed country), I prefer to remain your so called well-fed-slave in a slave camp.

To move this country forward is a task and it must be done by You and I. Our enemies are political leaders who major mindset centres on enriching themselves without minding the plight of its citizens. They want to permanently keep this country in darkness. No amount of wailing and counter-wailing will help revive this country unless we collectively spark up a good, unified and single-minded economic revolutionary plan. Follow it and work towards the betterment of Nigeria. Over 30yrs after the civil war and it is like yesterday, nothing lost were regained yet some are still clamouring for another bloody war. I haven't forgotten the history as written by Chinua Achebe.

Those of our fathers and grandfathers who were actors in the war, who saw what happened during the civil war should please tell their children and grandchildren the truth and the experiences they had. This little messages is to remind us of the past and those things that happened in the past. And to help direct our minds to achieving a lasting peace and stability irrespective of who is been cheated. Nigeria political system is like a swivelling seat. It will certainly reach to all the six geo-political zone. Let's exercise patients, It's only a matter of time. The Northerners can never rule till eternity so is the Westerners and the Easterners.

Our people says "Nwata hu ógu egboro-egbo, agu ógu aguwa-ya". A second war in this country will see the end of this country. Kill the dreams of the so-called Biafrans and perhaps, without even achieving its sovereignty. We better be careful, We want no more wars in this nation, who the cap fits, let him wear. And Let peace reign.
