Nigeria’s problem and solutions to the problems are clearly glaring at our face. If only the existing government would see the need and take it up from there without judging at what they will gain, in no distant time, Nigerians will become great. |

TonyeBarcanista: This is a backward mentality sir. Why did you go to school instead of telling your parents to use the money to buy foodstuff? I believe you are educated for a reason...
The Governor of a state is meant to invest in progress that will boost the human capital of the state as well as create opportunities. He (his government) could even partner with financial institutions for soft loans to a target, make the state industrially attractive to draw investors and even maximising tourism potentials of the state. This will create jobs, uplift some people out of poverty and make some employers of labour. This means Ekiti people will not only eat rice on christmas day but will also have the cash to have fun and keep filling their stomach beyond Fayose. Boss ,I second your opinion jeree! |

Skywalker5: One thing i know is that Nigerians spend a lot of money abroad. From looted money to salary being spent abroad.i think this move reduces such but at the end of the day, its going to always affect a lot of people Is it not better that way when compared to our bloated politicians carry our money over there? It's true that its gonna affect greater number of Nigerian populace, but it's better that way than leaving it for them all. |

In my opinion, I 'd say that it's for our own good and part of measure to reduce the rate corruption is eating deep into this country. With time, we will all get use to it...
There is no need complaining. For the fact they deemed it proper to embark on such protocol means they must also make provision for Nigerians students and businessmen and women up there.
It's a nice and unprecedented development coming from APC's government. |

Politics › 10 Things Pmb's Administration Has Achieved Within The Space Of Seven Months. by BobUg28(op): 9:45am On Dec 21, 2015*. Modified: 10:17am On Dec 21, 2015 |
I must confess to NL that this administration is far better than the previous one. It is impossible to renovate a collapsed skyscraper in 7 months to a better one. It needs a solid foundation and concrete equipment to make it stand. It is unfortunate that Nigeria system has been bastardise by disloyal leaders, you and me through indiscipline, disrespect for rule of law including lawlessness. Most of the activities happening in this country presently are strange to majority of citizencs in this country because they have never happened before even though they are the right things.
Let us quickly take a critical look at some of the strange things in order to make constructive deductions...
1. Oil thieves have drastically reduced with the recent arrest of them by Nigerian Navy. It is in this new administration unlike before that foreigners who have been stealing our oils are been arrested and prosecuted.
2. It is in this administration that lawlessness was fought head on with strong hand in the recent Army/Shitee face off.
3. It is also in this administration that the untouchables are been arrested, prosecuted and locked up in the on going arms scandal.
4. This is the first time a Nigerian President is about passing a huge budget of N 6 trillion for next year programmes.
5. Almost all the territories in North East held by BH Sect have been liberated by the Nigerian Army.
6. Smuggling of goods are no longer in sway as it used to be in the past administration.
7. Taxes are been paid by corporate organisations that have not been paying before under the past government. 8. Bribery in government parastatals have reduced drastically.
9. Standard Organisation of Nigeria has woken up to its responsibility. 10. Anti Corruption Crusade is been widely propagated across the country which has never happened during the past administration.
These and many more positive things would surface in this country from next year by God's grace. All we need is to be optimistic, prayerful and supportive to make this country better. Furthermore, we should not forget that this administration is still making use of past budget and this budget is not enough to kick start the change agenda promised by the president due to series of unpaid salaries of workers by the past administration and other monetary challenges.
God bless everyone. God bless Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Five Reasons Why Igbos Can Never Succeed In Their Biafra Agitation by BobUg28(m): 8:59pm On Dec 20, 2015 |
Riensi: Reason why igbo's will succeed
1. Nigeria is a hell hole which nobody needs
2. Igbo's love one another, we are only waiting for the new country to build global brands
3. Igbo elite want Biafra more than the young. Biafra means retiring in dignity for them.
4. Nobody will be forced to join the new country, we believe in democracy.
5. The new country will be one of justice, equity, fair play. An Igbo saying let the Eagle perch, let the kite perch. God bless you real good...it only that they fail to understand this. God will surely grant us Biafra.
That's the only country I 'm looking forward to live. |
